A parent and child read where every other page is easier and designed to be read by the child. A child brings his pet Gecko to school and the class works hard to keep it a secret from the teacher. Elementary

I read this for nostalgic reasons because Thumbalina was my favourite movie as a child and I just didn’t like it. HOWEVER I did appreciate the actually story of Thumbalina is not about her chasing after the fairy prince and finding love.
