“Christos Devillo”
THIS was the best H name the author could imagine?
Seriously???
Readers aren’t so dense we need his duality pointed out quite so obviously. It made him a caricature, not an alpha with two sides: passably-human and evil-as-fuck.
Although, the H’s POV was even worse:
“You make me so hard.” My cock strained against my trousers. I gently touched her waist, bringing her back against my caged anaconda.
Caged. Anaconda.
*shudders*
The 80’s called...
They want their bodice ripper back.
After the orgy scene, I’m not sure I feel the H is redeemable. I’m hoping the second book makes me believe in him. I’m still sickly debating whether or not I’d read Alex’s book if he has one ;)

I had a HUGE problem with the H cheating on the h and letting another man touch her. This went against his extreme obsessive and possessive behavior. I think the OTT sex went too far in many instances. However, I am curious to see what happens next so I will be reading the next book. The H will really have to redeem himself.

I was only going to read a few chapters but I couldn’t put it down. Now I want the next one. First if you have triggers about violent sex this is not a book for you. There is a mix of characters in this book. Jessie the tomboy turned seductress loses all her innocence in a very short time. She thinks she loved him but he’s the devil. I can’t help but hope Christos redeems himself. Well done Jax Hart!

If you thought Christian from 50 Shades was a boy scout, and want more descriptions of breaking a woman with fewer sex scenes, this is for you. If not, avoid this at all costs. The repeated internal monologues of the male character became tiresome. Yes, he is a billionaire and loves using that power and control whenever and wherever he can. The generic character could be used in any episode of one of those dramas that have a diverse cast of law enforcement officers and computer techs hunting predators/criminals. At least those have a HEA. The "cliffhanger" ending isn't really a cliffhanger if one understands Stockholm Syndrome.

Jax Hart completely blew me away with this first book in his new series, Enslaved. You're completely captivated from page one as you're immersed into the dark world of El Diablo. The only light is Jessie. Christos is obsessed with this blonde beauty. He's a man used to getting what he wants and he will stop at nothing to possess her. The thrill of the chase sparks something deep inside him. Something that has been missing from his life which only makes him want her more. Jessie is curious and confused by the different emotions Christos is rousing within her. Can she take the chance of letting him break her or will she flee at the first opportunity she has to escape his clutches?
This story will take you on an emotional journey that will leave you both riled up and speechless as you anxiously await book two.

This is the first book in the Devil and His Dove Trilogy. A dark romance with plenty of dark elements. Well written with strong characters and a suspenseful story. It was hard to put down. Christos is an arrogant and controlling Dom who will trigger all kinds of emotions. A wild ride that will have your head spinning. Jesse is the one woman who does not want to be controlled by him. He is obsessed by her. Drama, suspense and plenty of twists. I read a reader copy via Booksprout and voluntarily chose to write a review. It does end with a cliffhanger

Christos is a Master and wants a new sub. Jessie signs on to be a deck hand on a yacht. She doesn’t realize that the owner Christos hand picked her to be his new sub. She’s not into it although she is attracted by him. He kidnaps her. He is unable to feel emotions... So sex is his only outlet.

Holy hotness what a dynamic book. I just love Christo and Jessie. A journey you don't want to miss. Will Christo get Jess to succumb into his underworld, or will his " little dove" fly to greener pastures. I can't wait for the next instalment Enraptured. A 5 star read.

Christos is El Diablo, the Devil, and he's obsessed. The object of his obsession is his opposite - young, innocent and a breath of fresh air in Christos' world of depraved pleasure. Jessie is a deckhand on Christos' yacht, unaware he's been obsessed with her since before she even got the job. He's a dark, determined, ruthless alpha who takes what he wants and has no feelings whatsoever. He thinks he's soulless and that's precisely why he's drawn to Jessie, he wants her to make him feel something. What happens when he does start to feel something for her but she betrays him (or so he thinks)?
Whew, Enslaved is a roller coaster! Christos is intense and twisted and I was cringing by the time it ended, feeling so badly for poor Jessie. When she entered his dark world, she had no idea what she was in for. I cannot wait to see where Jax Hart takes these two next.

Wow. What an amazing first book in this new series and genre for this author. This book captivates you and sucks you into the story so you keep turning the page. Then the cliffhanger, you take a breath, read the last page again and say WHAT? I want more now. I definitely recommend this book and this author. One of the best Dark novels I have read recently.

He has his sights set on Jessie. Jessie doesn't know what to make of the mysterious man and his pursuit of her, but she knows he's not a man to be taken lightly. There will be no limits in his plan to make Jessie his.
After weeks of bending Jessie to his will, Christos has been doing some bending himself. This is not an acceptable behavior for him. Jessie becomes confused and broken. Jessie is losing the battle between her treacherous body and her reasoning brain. She can't help but crave Christos and that scares her. Jessie runs and Christos finds himself chasing her. He has never chased a sub in his life. Jessie is different, not his typical sub. Jessie is a fighter. Special. His to break...and he does.
To say this book was INTENSE, RAW AND REAL, does not do it justice. Sure it was all that, but so much more. It deals with love and the freedom to love and be loved. Jessie feels too much and Christos, not enough. They both struggle to get it right and when they do it's amazing. But when they don't, it's a disaster. Love that denies all logic. A deep, soul sucking love that will never fade, no matter how far you run or how hard you deny it's existence.

I LOVE Jessie, she is the epitome of innocence wrapped in determination and sass.

Enslaved is the first book in the Devil and His Dove Trilogy. This book is definitely a dark read. I felt characters were well written. I was so engrossed with Christo and Jesse. I can't wait for book two.

OMG!!! This book. Raw, gritty, and at times heartbreaking it held me captive from the very first page. With a strong storyline and characters that you love and hate, I think this is Mr. Hart's best book yet. The cliffhanger is what will leave you absolutely desperate for more. I can not wait to see how this series ends and how these characters develop. A definite 5+ star read!!!

Enslaved will have you salivating for word one. This is an intense read. Just when you think you have it figured out here comes the plot twist. You will crave the emotional rollercoaster you will be on with Christo and his dove Jessie. Get an extra set of panties and a fan ready, you will need them.

I am a,wet mess totally wrung out, this is amazing, I can't wait to get my hands on book 22 dark romAnce in the pits of bell, Jessie thinks she has signed up to the job of her dreams, but in reality she has made a pact with the devil and he will make her,dance his tune. Christ is wanted Jessie as soon as he saw her picture he knew she would be his next submissive, but Jessie isn't like that is she.

Absolutely phenomenal! I am absolutely speechless, this book blew me away! Once I started reading I couldn't put it down, I stayed up until I had read every last word! This book is packed full of twists and turns and unexpected surprises, and the explosive chemistry between Christos and Jessie will leave you wanting for more. If I could give it more than 5 stars I would. I can't wait for book #2!!! This is a definite must read, one-click the book today, you won't regret it.

I give Enslaved by Jax Hart 5 Stars. This is book one of The Devil and His Dove series, this book was very well written, was dark but also light in the same respect and has a cliff hanger for an ending. I have read all of Jax’s books and he out did himself with this book, this is the best one he has written so far and I cannot wait to read book 2. I was immediately sucked into this story wanting to know what was going to happen next. I was on the edge of my seat the whole time and did not want to put the book down until I was finished with it.
Jessie, a young college student from California, who was strong and free spirited, felt like something was missing in her life. She wanted to try something new so she sent out resumes to work on yachts and ended up being hired to work on the Oasis off of Capri. Little did she know that she has just set herself to be trapped and enslaved by the devil himself Christos Devillo.
Christos Devillo, is a ruthless business man, he is bored, feels no emotion, and is looking for his next submissive. That was until Jessie’s resume landed on his desk, she was perfect, she was going to be his. She was strong, a fighter, and he wanted her like he has never wanted anyone else. He was enslaved by her as much as she was by him. He was going to make her fly in his embrace and then break her completely.

I absolutely loved Jessie and Christos story. you have one person who is set in stone who believes nothing can change and he is the way he is. And you have somebody who is strong with self-worth and expectations for their life. I don't know if one person bent to control the other one actually becomes an addiction, however I do know this story will take you on a crazy ride that will make you question your morals and how these people do what they do. It's a dark story and I love dark stories because it amazes me how people come out a better version of themselves to be with others. However in this story as one person does get addicted to the other, you see trust begin and the start of love. this book is going to tear you apart to see what these to go through to protect themselves, to stay true to themselves. And at the end of the story you're going to see that one person's addiction can push them to still have self worth and take care of themselves and their expectations. while the new found trust the other person has is not respected and therefore makes a very horrible decision. I definitely am waiting and excited for the next part of their story. I am really wondering how both of their decisions is going to impact their future. I won't lie part of this story really made me question my morals because sometimes I expect my characters to live up to certain things. But no matter what happened in this story I had to keep going to find out what was going to happen. You will get vested in these characters. This is my honest review for a book that I volunteered to read however I still purchased the book and I recommend a one-click for anybody who loves dark and gritty to become light and hopefully love.

Jax Hart again has written an extraordinary book that you don't want to put down. This is his first dark romance series and it will hook you after the first sentence. What the hell did I just read? I'm still recovering....what a wild ride! This is my first book by Jax Hart and it definitely won't be my last! This book hit the ground running and never stopped. Twists and turns, love and hate, desire and passion, this book is filled with all of that and so much more. Christos is a special kind of a$$hole, which makes me love him even more. Jessie is adorable and feisty and strong willed. Put them together and crazy love and hate abounds. This book is off the charts crazy in the best possible way! One click this book now!!!!

Absolutely phenomenal! I am absolutely speechless, this book blew me away! Once I started reading I couldn't put it down, I stayed up until I had read every last word! This book is packed full of twists and turns and unexpected surprises, and the explosive chemistry between Christos and Jessie will leave you wanting for more. If I could give it more than 5 stars I would. I can't wait for book #2!!! This is a definite must read, one-click the book today, you won't regret it.

Wow! This book had me captivated from the beginning. I can’t wait for the next book. Jessie wants to get away from California and live her own life. Working on a yacht she meets Christos. Christos is controlling and arrogant. A wild ride that may have triggers for some readers. 5 star, must read!
