This dark and twisted tale of ownership will make your blood run hot. Wall Street Journal, USA Today, and Amazon Bestseller Vivian Wood writes dark romance as OLIVIA RYANN.
No one is coming to save me. I am his Fiore now, his flower. To do with as he wishes. And he wants everything. Monster wants my tears, my screams of pleasure, my shudders of fear. In return, he also brings me these moments of startling clarity. I know who I think I am. I know who he says I am. I feel I’m somewhere between, lost in an ocean of pain. When he trots out my brother with a wide smile, I’m forced to choose between them. It’s a simple choice: the only family I have left, or the Monster I’m increasingly drawn to?

I love the Lil twist & turns... it’s thrilling watching these two together. I not fan of cliffhanger, but Olivia Ryann Left on a cliffhanger, but what a cliffhanger… I can't wait to read book Cherish to find out what happens to these two.
Books should be read in order: 1- Capture 2- Control 3- Covet 4- Cherish
📚 Hope you enjoy this read & also always keep in mind this is just my opinion & my honest review 💕
💕 I received an EXCLUSIVE copy of this book in exchange for my honest review of it. 💕
Once again this is dark. It’s not romantic really. It’s just a dark relationship, probably 95% Stockholm syndrome and 5% lust, but if you’re into that dynamic it’s a great read! The cliffhangers kill me, and I can’t wait for the next book to come out in November even though I’ll probably be in a mood until then. GIVE ME CHERISH NOWWWWWWW!
There are boundaries for every reader. Covet managed to cross them for me. I like stories with dark themes. But this was undesirable, all this humiliation that Fiore went through, flipped me out! But she’s not blameless though.
There was one scene where Arsen - the Monster summoned her in the conference room, where six men were also attending, and she entered on all fours, naked, being led by his guard on a metal chain dog leash attached to a metal chain collar. In another, he instructed her not to talk or communicate while he would watch a stranger eating out her pussy. And later in the story we see her brother forcing himself on her. Apart from the above, Fiore’s character really infuriated me with her (spiritless and impassive) behaviour and actions, as well as Arsen’s. I didn’t like them at all.

Fiore and Montster's story continues with them battling for what this is between them. Is it a relationship, are the boyfriend and girlfriend? This story is so good!
Fiore survive her jump from the cliff and wake up in Monster's bed and he is so mad. Over time she developed feelings for him. She is still his slave and he still own her but sometimes he is sweet and carrying and she fantasies of a normal life with him. But the one day she has a choice will she save him or family? This is the third book in the series and they just getting better and better. I can't wait for the next book in the series. I love these books
The heroine is such a stupid mindless idiot. I want just scream when I read he made her have threesome and paraded her around naked. I could not finish the book. Mind me but I like a heroine who doesn't say abuse and it's fine. This abuse what the author is portraying I'm all for dark but abuse

Fiore thought she died, but that can't be right. She is in too much pain to be dead.
When Fiore wakes she is right back where she started.....with Monster. She does not know how she survived that fall, but as fate would have it she did. Now she must make the best of the situation. Monster has made it clear, she is ..... his. She will not get away again.
Monster forces Fiore's hand and she signs over her soul to the devil himself...Monster. Now he owns her body, soul and even her mind. When an agreement between the two is reached there is a change in him. But only she can see it. A puppy, New Orleans, then ....her brother. The cards are lined up and they don't lie ever. But what happens when the cards fall?
I have to start off saying that WTF Vivian?!? Another cliff hanger......ugghhhh. Vivian sure knows how to get you hooked and leave you hanging with your mouth wide open screaming WTF!?! You can't stop now! We need more. Any who! Since I got my silent screams out the way ......
This book is better than the last in my opinion. And NO it cannot be read as a standalone. You need to read Control first. This second book in the series is a lot darker than the first. Monster really humiliates and degrades her in this book. Which I have to say Bravo Olivia!! That scene with the dog collar was perfect! Way better than my suggestion.
The chemistry between Fiore and Monster is freaking off the charts. She may be his captive/possession, but their sex scenes are so damn hot. That is some erotic mess right there. No wonder she is allowing him to posses her. He can play her body like a fine tuned instrument.
Overall this book is amazing. It is full of lust, darkness, abuse, and power. If you are a bit squeamish, then this book might not be your cup of tea. It is like a fine whiskey that will burn going down. It has many BDSM style scenes and is a dark read. And if you don't like cliff hangers, then you are out of luck, because the cliff hanger at the end of this book is more of a free fall from 12 billion feet! This book will grab your attention from the very first page and leave you begging for more.
So don't be shy my pretties! Pick up and start at the beginning! You will be glad you did.
He looks down at me, his steel grey eyes focusing on my face. “I should feel bad for putting you in the box. I should say that I’m sorry, but that would be a lie. I’m not sorry.”
Status update: I still don't like Arsen, but I no longer wish a painful, fiery death on him. I DO still wish Fiore/Katherine could escape him. And her brother. Escape them both and go be her own woman. Make her own friends. Go to college. Not be a toy or a pet or a servant or a slave. Be free for the first time in her life. Now THAT sounds like a happy ending to me.
Alas, I suspect that isn't in the cards for our poor Fiore/Katherine. She was born into a role of subjugation, then got sold into a different role of subjugation. Jesus, this poor girl.
I don't consider this book to be a dark romance as much as an erotic thriller. I have no lady flutters for Arsen. I kinda hate him. I kinda think he deserves to be miserable and alone for the remainder of his sorry life. But, that's just me... I tend to feel that way when dark reads go over my tipping point. And Arsen is over my tipping point. He purposely hurts and terrifies her. Without remorse. So... screw him and the horse he rode in on.
Anyway, as an erotic thriller this book is really good. I am thoroughly enjoying the suspense aspect, and can't wait to see what happens next!
I am loving this series so much. I love dark romance, and Olivia Ryann aka Vivian Wood has become a favorite author of mine. She is pretty much a one click author. She just knows how to lure a reader in with how she creates these worlds, and characters that just hook you.
That being said, Covet picks up where book two leaves off. Did Fiore finally get away from Monster? Is it possible for their relationship to go darker? There is this dark side to Arsen that I admit lures me in. He can be so dark and cold, yet capable of tenderness for Fiore. I am wondering about his brothers, what parts they play. I would love to know their stories as well. Fiore goes with so many emotions and a contrast of strong to weak. She is just as much of a puzzle as Monster. Their journey just pulls me in, I need to know what happens! That ending left me going WTH!!! But it was so good. Overall, this is a must have for the dark romance fan!
Katherine is at the mercy of Arsen, known as Monster by Katherine. He has taken her freedom, taken her name and started calling her Fiore, and everything she has is because he grants it to her. When she runs and almost dies, he saves her life. Although he is dark and dangerous, he does things that make him less of a monster. She finds herself drawn to his darkness and craving his desires. The author continues to write a great story, showing sometimes the monster we fear can be our hope. Characters ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Spicy 🌶️ hot 🥵. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Storyline ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Kink ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
So dark and so page turning good. Fiore is starting to develop feelings for Monster aka Arsen and that can't be good for either of them. This series has my head spinning and I can not get enough of it. Be aware there is a cliffhanger which makes the anticipation all that much better.
I've read all these stories in this series and each freaking one get's only better and better. I don't think I ever want this series to stop I'd be happy if it just kept right on going. Although, I think Olivia might get a little bit tired lol. This picks up from when Fiore is trying to get away from "monster" only to realize there's no getting away and boy is she in serious trouble. I want to think this is when his feelings have changed towards her, but time will tell hopefully it won't be too late. That ending though I kinda knew something was going to happen but juuussst didn't know when and how. I can't wait for the next book to come out and see just what happens.
that girl has no backbone, he humiliates her in the worst ways possible and she doesnt even put up a fight, no silent treatment, no nothing, just one pathetic rug under his legs, and than her brother shows actual threats of sexual assault and she keeps her mouth shot? how f*** is that? everything about the heroine is WRONG.
“He’s just…like he is. Passionate, enraging, and completely fucking insane. And me? I’m just the naive little girl who happens to be owned by him.”
Covet is the third book in Olivia Ryann’s dark mafia captive romance series. This book continues the saga of Katherine Carolla (Fiore) and Arsen (“Monster”). At the conclusion of Ryann’s last book, Control, Fiore has fallen from a cliff. We are literally with a cliffhanger. This book begins where that left off. It isn’t a spoiler, per se, that Fiore has survived her fall, but the question remains whether Arsen will kill her or keep her captive. In this third book, we find the two grow closer, mostly due to their sexual chemistry. In fact, Fiore’s captivity becomes more muddled, and the two, Arsen and Fiore, struggle to understand their respective connection. Neither of them fully trusts the other, but they are connected to each other in ways that make both of them uncomfortable. Like Control, this book also ends with a cliffhanger, and the reader is left to the fourth book in the series, Cherish, to find out the resolution.
For me, this is the strongest book in the series to date. While Katherine/Fiore is a slave to Arsen/Monster, she has more power over him than previously thought. The more he connects with her sexually, the more she casts a spell over him, and we see their relationship become more complicated. Even more, we find more humanity in Arsen than previously thought. He is still, however, borderline psychotic, but there is a part of the reader who believes he might find some redemption if he simply chooses Fiore to be his “queen.” This is my main reason for reading dark erotica: to read the anti-hero’s redemption. It is never fully realized in the traditional sense of the hero, but it’s exciting and sexy and allows the reader to accept the former “bad boy” (think Meghan March’s Lachlan Mount). Arsen is no different, and I look forward to reading Cherish for more of his change.
Overall, I am enjoying this series and its darkness. This book definitely lightened up quite a bit, but it’s still shadowy beneath the surface. Just when you think Arsen is more human than “monster,” the more you realize he is still very much Katherine’s captor.
Omg! This book is a first for me and at that it’s Book 3. Monster has his prize bought from a slave auction, sold by her family.... He has literally enslaved her and treats her as a pet. While without realizing he has found how HIGH PRIESTESS. Years ago his brother Damon read his cards and this woman will hold all the cards for him and his glory. Fiore or Kathryn or Kit Kat is falling for her Monster as well. While he scares the hell out of her the sex that they have is something that surprises them both. It is without a doubt the best for Monster and with his princess being a virgin, she is falling for him every step of the way. Monster has held the secret of murdering her family but after a night she agrees to a threesome he gifts her with her brother Tony. She has mixed feelings for her brother now since he was the one to sell her... Monster will put her to the test but at what cost....And when her brother is detoxed from the heroin he was on Tony decides he wants to steal from and kill Monster. While she is going crazy with trying to decide which she wants more. The Monster who bought her or the brother that has betrayed her. The day has come her brother at gun point has her go with him to grab a shipment from the house with a little too much ease which has her senses going crazy. As she hesitates a little too long Tony hits her with the gun and Monster attacks. Not having all her senses back during the struggle between the two she grabs for the gun points and shoots.... And well you just have to wait as I do for the rest. So pre order Cherish and continue the last of the series. Until we meet again grab your copy and enjoy this book as I have.
Yes. Yes. Yes. Olivia Ryan has thrown down the gauntlet of intensity! The third book in the dark, captivatingly twisted, supremely heat inducing and suspenseful Cherish Series, I could feel the dark and confusing emotions swirling throughout this one! Bring it on!
Monster and Fiore's complicated lives take them to new and raw heights, neither knows what to do with. Especially when families start putting ideas into their heads- sometimes ones they have no control over.
Crime pays, especially when you are the most significant player in the high stakes game- Fiore finds out just how much she is worth in the game.. or does she? If they both make it out the other side of this one intact, it will be a miracle. This. book.- This. Series. I cannot get enough! It is a spectacularly captivating display of innocent vs. evil. The outstanding chemistry between the taboo characters has my heart craving more, while my fictional loving mind seeks out the edge of my seat storyline, high octane heat scenes, the intricate detailing and my apparent need to raise my blood pressure with those push me off the highest peak -oh so good cliffhangers! ( truthfully, I am not much of a cliffy girl, instant gratification is my thing, but I have to admit, these frustration inducers have been worth it!) Must be read in order starting with book one 'Capture' to understand- but if you like dark, raw, dirty, makes you feel all sorts of ways stories then THIS is a Series you must check out for yourself!
I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.
Wow--what a cliffhanger! If I could, I would rate this a 5++. Riveting, action-packed and suspenseful! This Mafia romance was impossible to put down, and it will have you on the edge of your seat while leaving you intrigued and speculating what’s next, but it is jaw-dropping good! This book is one hot as hell, intriguing and twisted dark romance! It is dark with gritty gruesome details; murder, mystery, drama, intrigue, suspense, Mafia, and kidnapping continue to keep you glued to the pages of this fascinating story—it has an unexpected surprise in which I was holding my breath. This was an awesome book, in fact the series is awesome, one you NEED to READ—you won’t regret it, but you will need to read the series—this is not a standalone! Fiore (Katherine) survived a dreadful fate, and she was saved by the devil himself—Monster (Arsen). Now, Monster has waited long enough to claim her body, soul, and everything. He gets Fiore to sign a document, which gives him complete ownership. It doesn’t take Monster long to draw Fiore into his web, humiliating her, punishing her, charming her into his bed, and trapping her in his life. Now, Fiore and Monster are making headways—he takes her back to New Orleans. Can’t wait to read about Fiore and Monster’s journey and how it unfolds. I am quite sure there will be a lot of surprises and trying to figure out what will happen next. Can’t wait to read the next book!
This series is riveting! It’s the third installment in the Cherish series and it gets more and more intense!
Fiore, is sold by her family and bought at an auction by a man she refers to as Monster. She’s held captive in a gilded cage and rewarded for her good behavior and sexual submissions.
I can best sum up the relationship as cat a mouse. The chase is thrilling and all the more rewarding. Monster, named Arsen is known in the crime realm and has his heart set on the “Big Easy” New Orleans. He learns pretty quick taking over that territory will not come so easily. He decides the best way to surprise the enemies is to us Fiore, as a power move; being that she was born into Carolla crime family. The pieces to the puzzle should fall in place right?
Arsen is dark, dangerous and so very sexy. He has a damaged past that has formed him to the man he is today. The complexity of the characters definitely builds on the relationship between Fiore and Arsen. Who knew something so bad can feel so good?
I was so enthralled in their story. Constantly battling myself to read faster but not to fast to finish the book too quickly. And just when I thought it couldn’t get better.. the worlds best cliffhanger! But I wasn’t ready for it to end, so it kept trying to swipe, swipe, swipe for more! I loved it and will be sitting on pins and needles for the next book to be released.
There is nothing I can say about this series that hasn't already been said, it's just awesome and riveting with the spot on flawless writing, characters that are written with such precision and attention to detail, I swoon at the romantic passion and feel every emotion of the hurt and darkness lurking within and while it wasn't easy to read at times it had that pull that draws you into the story begging for more. This book follows on from Control which you definitely need to read first to fully understand the story, then Covet fills in the gaps from their childhoods that explains why they are the way they are. The feelings appear to be growing between Monster and Fiore, she knows she should hate him but the passion they have for each other is electrifying which just joins them together as a whole. Now we have family members on both sides interfering causing doubt and uncertainty creep into their heads, when an opportunity comes along that is a life or death situation and will definitely alter their lives forever, will it be taken and by who??? AND here comes that mega cliffhanger of all cliffhangers !!! I can't wait to see the outcome. I was given this as an ARC in exchange for a voluntary honest review, I have also purchased a copy for my own collection.
Covet is book three in the Cherish series. In order to avoid confusion, you need to read the previous books in the series before jumping into this one. Also, be advised, this is a dark read and not for everyone.
Covet picks up right where Control left off. Fiore has survived her jump from the cliff and is once again under Monster's control. As the story progresses, something unbelievable occurs. Fiore starts to feel something other than fear and hate where Monster is concerned. As the book concludes, Fiore is forced to make the toughest decision of her life.
Gah! What a nail biter! I totally love Fiore! She is so strong! I think the fact that she is still standing after all the betrayal and abuse she has endured speaks volumes. I must admit, I have despised Monster from the beginning, but, as their story progresses, I have started to see some chinks in his armor, and I am slowly starting to like him. This is one heck of a story, and it will captivate you from beginning to end!
Super sexy dark romance that you are sure to enjoy! One click it now!
Covet, Book 3 of the Cherish Series is a Dark Mafia Captive Romance not for the faint of heart. As it is stated, this is a DARK ROMANCE with DARK themes that may trigger some. Read at your own risk.
Covet starts off where Control (Book 2) left off. As you recall it left us in a huge cliffhanger. Covet didn't disappoint. We got a little more development in Fiore and Arden's relationship. A lot more. Monster (Arden) doesn't want to have feelings for Fiore. His plan was concrete. He would kill her so he is frustrated and annoyed, angry at himself that he is feeling things for her he shouldn't. Fiore, on the other hand, is feeling the same. She is craving Monster in different ways. His touches, his presence, but knows she shouldn't since she is his 'property'. His kidnappee. Add in Tony (Fiore's brother) into the mix and we get some added suspense and drama. We learn a little more about Fiore's past. Why she dislikes 'The Box' so much but really who would? And of course it ends in another cliffhanger but I think I know what is happening. I cannot wait for the final book Cherish which is set to release on Nov. 15th (and it cannot get here fast enough).
Wow, where do I start? After the stunt Fiore pulled she’s lucky she’s not in her box right now. The more that Monster and Fiore are together the feelings are coming to the surface and Fiore doesn’t know what to do. What happens when you begin to fall for your captor? You know it’s all kinds of wrong, but feels so good. It’s almost like Stockholm syndrome, but deeper. When Fiore accepts a challenge she is rewarded and is stunned to see her prize. Monster is confused, he’s feeling things he shouldn’t, she was a means to a end and should be dealt with, but is his brother right? Is she “the one” to be by his side always? Will Fiore be loyal to Monster when a crucial turn of events puts her in charge? Or will she turn on him for the love of family? I did not see the end coming and wow what a WTF moment and you are left wondering what just happened. Olivia is brilliant, she’s played this story like an orchestra, fine tuning everything and leading up to the crescendo, I can’t wait for Cherish, I know it will be amazing. No spoilers, loved it! I voluntarily reviewed this book.
The villain in this third part is becoming deranged with possessiveness, and poor Fiore is getting the brunt of it. Escape is elusive and her waning attempts at it result in violence from her captor.
This time, we get to see the mob boss involving an unwilling Fiore in his sleazy schemes, also another glimpse into his twisted and bloody past. Fiore's past is no easier, I was aghast at her gloomy upbringing. Poor girl. Nobody loves her the right way.
Kinky passion mixes with domination and terrible pans, and then things turn crazy with explossive surprises at every corner. Monster is impossible to rely on, there's hardly any tenderness from him, but sweet and resilient Fiore can't seem to shake off her fascination with him.
An impossible crossroads force her into the middle of betrayal and pain, and the cliffhanger there is almost mortal!
I admit I didn't care much for one of Monter's bedroom games, but the overall feeling of this installment is hellishly good entertainment. So eager for Cherish.
❤️🌼🔥IT’S GOING TO BE A LONG MONTH WAITING FOR CHERISH!!!!!❤️🌼🔥 I hope my reviews don’t get “lost”, because of this statement, but, Vivian Wood, if I could get my hands on you, I’d throat punch you for THIS cliffhanger!!!!! SERIOUSLY???? ❤️🌼🔥 This series gets better with every book as does this author...I am so thankful, she took a chance, and has begun writing dark romance, because she is writing it as well as she writes contemporary romance....CHERISH, her first series in this genre, is going to be a hard act to follow, because she is knocking it out of the park with this one!!!❤️🌼🔥 This author has created two unforgettable characters, Arsen Aetós (aka Monster) and Katherine Carolla (aka Fiore), who, would, in high school, have been voted “Couple Most Likely to Implode!” By all accounts, we should want Fiore to get as far away from Monster as possible, but because of Olivia Ryann’s talent, just the opposite is true for me!!!❤️🌼🔥 I, SERIOUSLY, LOVE COVET!!! I, SERIOUSLY, LOVE OLIVIA RYANN!!! AND, I, SERIOUSLY, LOVE THE CHERISH SERIES!!!❤️🌼🔥
I read Covet in one sitting and let me tell you it is a page turner! This series is dark, but is absolutely fantastic! Fiore and Monster have me hooked and I can't get enough of them.
Covet picks right up where book two left off. Did Fiore survive her jump? Did she get away from Monster? Can she be free?
Well she certainly survived her jump, but she landed herself to wake up in Arsen's aka Monsters bed. He's dark, disturbed, twisted, yet he's alluring, has tender moments, is giving at moments. This book takes us through the aftermath of her jump and how it effects the relationship they started to build in the second book.
The end of this book will leave you begging for the next sentence, the next page, the next chapter, anything! Covet was such a fantastic read, well written as always, and kept me sucked in from beginning to end. I cannot wait for the next installment!
