This was my favorite volume so far! It really dived into the time travel aspect, which is my favorite part about this series. Excited to get into the next one!
After seeming to settle into a high school series about school clubs, this volume abruptly brings the time travel aspect back to the forefront as one of the displaced teens makes an unwelcome return to the present. That this upset me so much demonstrates that this series has grown on me incredibly. The art is fantastic, and I love the grouchy-but-sympathetic characters.
This took an unexpected twist. I was not expecting it to happen, nor the events afterwards. This series seems to be aiming for humor and realism in each of the characters and the story.
I’m a little confused about Hiro-kun. Is he dating Aki? Are they just friends and she’s overexaggerating the relationship? No idea. I hope that gets explained.
While I generally like time travel, and this series is based around that, the bit of it from this particular book just didn't do it for me. Aside from that -- solid book. I'm enjoying how the story is moving in general how the characters do not remain static and it is actually fairly interesting. I hope the practice game ends up being a big event. I had never heard of Again!! until our library got it and I am glad they did.
Verdict: An interesting series that might just be worth your time. Check it out.
This series is just entertaining. I will admit to being pretty surprised when Imamura starts time traveling again in this volume and when it turns out that all his hard work in the past isn't changing his future. I did not see that coming.
Lots of familiar hijinks here with the gang. One of my favorite is when Imamura scares a jerk away from Reo in the future when she has no idea who he is.
I'm looking forward to the next volume.

I’m surprised, this is my favorite volume so far. It started off weak, and I actually considered giving up on the series, but then the second half came through. Slight spoiler? But this volume follows imamura going back to present day after another accident, while fujieda is still stuck in the do over world. It may have started off weak, but the story definitely strengthened and became more complex.
Kinichiro is in charge? He needs everyone to start thinking differently so what does he do? He challenges the ouendan to use the cheerleader moves, and the cheerleaders to take on ouendan moves. Whew, what a mixup. What did we learn? Hopefully something or another! Ha!
Surprise twist at the end though, with Kinichiro injured when he falls downstairs. No idea where this is going next...
Not my favorite book in the series, but I'm going to hang in there and see where this is going.
I liked that the time traveling made a reappearance. I'm fairly sure by the end of this Imamura us gonna suffer serious head trauma if he keeps time traveling. I also enjoyed that it hade immediate consequences in the do-over world.
This volume was so good!!! I can’t wait to get the next volumes in the mail. I’m dying to see where this goes. Lots of fantastic character artwork in this volume – the representations of expression were really kickass. Great flow and use of space.
Very beautiful series, it's so funny and quirky and even if sometimes the overall plot doesn't progress the ongoing character interactions are so cool to miss out on. Very cool characters too
