James Cook is the last Flesh Sculptor on his new world.
Things seemed to have worked out for him and his two mates. Though Karana turned from him things seemed to be going well, and at least they're on good terms. Him and his mates are building a new home, and the three of them all have a good future partially mapped out.
It's not all peaches and cream. They're still awaiting word from Malburn on the success or failure of Queen Sera's invasion. When word of those results do arrive, they come with a few surprises. He has no choice but to do what his conscience dictates, something he never thought he'd do, return to Malburn.
James is going to have to face something far scarier than simple assassins, or armies, he has to face a queen. What did she want, and would he be able to give it to her? It was foolhardy and dangerous to say no to a queen, but he couldn't, wouldn't, violate his oath.
Warning: This is a full-sized erotic epic fantasy novel that contains a small number of explicit sex scenes. It also has a mixed harem and polyamory theme, if that isn't for you than don't buy this book. This book is told in the first person from James' point of view, and is the third of a four book series.
I was born and raised on Long Island and always had two hobbies...
I loved computers, and I read books voraciously.
I've been working in the computer industry for twenty years, and have continued to read a large number of books. On a whim, I started writing erotic short stories online, and to my surprise they were always highly rated, and more than that, I found I loved to write. Since then I have worked at improving my writing, and started publishing on Amazon.
A good continuation of the series. Now that the king is gone, the group just needs to figure out if they can trust the new Queen. James also is able to sway the dark elf to become his mate (this is not a spoiler because of course that would happen. It shouldn't shock anyone with this author. Everyone knew this was going to happen just not the how). There is also another mate that wasn't expected. Not a whole lot of action or conflict in this book, which really makes me wonder what's going to happen in the next book.
I could not complete this book. The thing that irritated me most was the Oak trees. An oak has thousands of acorns a year. With accelerated maturation and increased size and longevity, that would mean millions of seeds. Add to that, that most plants can be propagated by cuttings. And the MC is suggesting that they clip off branches and send them out. What i would suggest, is that the MC makes the tree unable to replicate. And offer one to the Queen. By the end of his life he should have enough children that some of them are healers.
This writer just keeps getting better and better. The story is well thought out and has a good flow. I wish This book had a little more action, it's still very good read
