Get Over Me

Rate this book
Special Agent Rocky Knight has spent half his career keeping Sean Connor out of trouble. The president's son is nothing short of irresponsible, reckless, and completely out of control--but when Sean's sent home in disgrace after practically flunking out of school, the last thing Rocky wants is to witness his fall from grace.

Especially when Sean isn't the little boy he remembers.

The mischievous wild child has been replaced by a funny, ambitious, sensitive man. One who's stunningly gorgeous. One whose soft, kissable lips draw Rocky's gaze every time he speaks. One who's far too young. One who wants Rocky all to himself.

And one who's completely off limits, if Rocky wants to keep his job and any sense of self-respect.

But no matter how much Rocky tries to distance himself, every alluring glance and enticing laugh draws him deeper and deeper under the younger man's spell. Can Rocky keep things professional between himself and Sean, when Sean grows more determined every day--and the more he falls, the more Rocky knows he'll never be able to get over him?

This story is approximately 30,000 words in length and contains adult language & explicit erotic scenes.

Thoroughly enjoyed this book. I am pleased that I read it through KU though. I cannot see why this book and Forget About Me were released as two books. The length of each book wasn’t long enough that they needed to be two, and book 2 continued immediately on from book 1. Also I couldn’t find any indication that book 1 wasn’t a standalone, requiring you to read book 2 to get to Sean and Rocky’s HEA.

Agent Rocky Knight has guarded President's son Sean Connor for years but now he is a man.
Agent Rocky Knight is informed that the President's son Sean will be staying at the mansion for four weeks looking after his five year old sister and that Rocky will be guarding him and Ellie. When Sean arrives rocky realizes that the boy he guarded before is gone to be replaced by a sexy man and that his body is aware of it as soon as he walks in the door making his job so much more difficult. Sean find his old protection agent will be guarding him again and is disappointed but as he get to know him from his more adult point of view he finds him likeable and very attractive. A MM romance to relax and enjoy.

This is a delicious May/December romance between a president's bodyguard and the president's son. Rocky has spent years protecting the president and his family, many times keeping or getting a young Sean out of trouble. Now Sean is all grown up, and desires Rocky. Rocky feels the same, but fights the attraction. I loved watching the two of them connect as adults. The story ended too soon for me, and I am looking forward to more of the story.

Sean the president's son, growing up he watched Rocky Knight protect his father and rescue Sean. Now Sean is all grown up and wants Rocky.
Rocky protected and rescued Sean as a kid. He is not a kid any longer. He fights the attraction between them. They may both be men but he watched Sean grow up, he is to old for the young man.
Join them on their journey as they find their way.

I thoroughly enjoyed reading this book Sean and Rocky (Knight) are truly two beautiful characters that deserve the world. You fall in love with thier personalities so easy, they are two different people but seem to complement each other whither they get that or not remains to be seen. This a book definitely a page turner for sure. I recommend it very much.

The story is good and a quick read, although quote a few typos. I would give it more stars, however, the book ends mid-way through the story with no warning. The last page tells you to purchase the next book to see what happens. This is 2nd Lina Langley book I have read where the story is "to be continued in the 2nd book". I don't think I will read any other Langley books since I prefer complete stories (or at least know ahead of time if it is part of a series).

He had spent half of his career keeping an eye on the president son but now they have been sent home from school in disgrace. Just one problem they are so very different looking and all he can think of is his lips and body. Will he be able to keep his hands to himself? See if he can
