A Sin Series Standalone Novel

I was on my way to having everything that I wanted… until I opened that door. That’s when my entire world shattered. In a single second, my happy life was gone.

She broke my heart. There, I admit it. But a Fellowship man doesn’t mourn the loss of a woman. He moves on to the next one. And the next. But what I quickly discover is that it doesn’t matter how many women I’m with. I’ll never find one who can replace Lorna Frazier.

I’ve been an arse, doing everything within my power to hurt her. And I’ve been successful at it. But it doesn’t heal the pain of losing the woman that I love. She is my everything, and I’m nothing without her.

Apart, we’re weak. Together, we’re strong.
Apart, we’re in hell. Together, we’re in heaven.
Apart, we’re broken. Together, we’re whole.

I won’t give up on us.

***Redemption can be read as a standalone novel although it is a novel accompanying The Sin Trilogy. It is best enjoyed after reading The Sin Trilogy, Endurance: A Sin Series Standalone novel, and Unintended: A Sin Series Standalone novel.

I’ve been looking forward to Leith & Lorna’s story for a while and wanting their HEA, and it was fabulous! This was book six in the Sin series, and can be read as a standalone. I really loved this entire series, and enjoyed Leith & Lorna’s love story. I loved how he fought for her, and how crazy he was about her. Super swoony! 💛

“We belong together.” “Then fight for her.”
YES! FIGHT DANGIT!!

Finally!
I’ll say it again. FINALLY! We get Leith & Lorna’s story. After getting bits and pieces of their romance and misunderstandings in the last 5 books we finally get the full story with an ending for this pair. I loved that their relationship came easily in this one. After everything they’ve been through in the other books... I’m thankful they didn’t have a rough go of it in the aspect personally. The angst comes from some outside sources, and it is INTENSE. But it all works out in the end.

While I’m so happy we finally get Leith and Lorna’s story, it is a bit bittersweet that this is the last book in the Sin series. Especially since I feel there are some characters left I would love to read about. If the chapter has to close, then this is the perfect story to do it with. Georgia Cates caps of this series with a storyline that has been teased since the very beginning. Fantastic ending to a fantastic series!

warning: mild spoilers ahead

I hate to say it, but if you've loved the Sin Trilogy series as much as I have, then you might want to skip this one. In a sentence: It honestly felt disconnected and out of character, so you're better off using your imagination to picture Leith and Lorna's ride into the sunset.

To begin, the whole cause for friction between these two lovers was almost completely disregarded pretty early on in the book:
“You didn’t choose to hurt me by being with Sin. I couldn’t see that then, but I see it now. Everything that I did to hurt you was my choice. And I’m sorry, Lorna. So fucking sorry. Can you ever forgive me?”

“Of course. Can you forgive me?”

“All is forgiven and forgotten,” Leith says.
Oh, lah-dee-dah! It was only that simple? So what ever happened to all that tension and angst from books 1 through 5?! Well, forget it ever existed, folks, because poof! Gone! It apparently never mattered.

.

As previously mentioned, the name of the game here is out-of-character-ness. Case in point, here's a text convo between the two MCs:
Lorna: I have to go.

Leith: Everything ok?

Lorna: Mr. Grumpy doesn’t approve of texting in his company.

Leith: Fuck him.

Lorna: LOL!
What are they, a couple of girlish college students talking smack about one of their lame dates?!

.

Speaking of, they've also been brushing up on their American vernacular, apparently.
"She can tell if [name withheld] is lying?"

"Absolutely. That woman has mad skills."
I'm sorry. Mad. Skills? I don't know what I'm more disappointed in: The fact that they used that phrase to begin with, or the fact that they didn't spell "skills" with a Z at the end.

.

And the depth of my disappointment didn't end there, unfortunately. There was one more indignity I was subjected to:
"That's it, baby. Let me feel you come all over my dick."
(Wait for it, wait for it....)
"Oh fuuuck."
(Plus...)
"Oh God. I'm coming, Leith. So hard."
.

Yeah..... And that's all I have to say.

Let me start off by saying how sad I am that this is the end of such an amazing series!! In my 1-cent opinion, Lorna & Leith's story was the most emotionally suspenseful. These two battered souls just have not been able to catch a break!!!

Though Leith has loved Lorna since he can remember yet his loyalty to the Fellowship has always come first, he finally realizes that living without the woman his heart as always loved will continue to be a nightmare until he decides to man up and claim her.

Lorna's love for Leith has been there even when he decides to break her heart time after time- though I felt he needed to have a lesson shown to him in showing some respect for the one he claimed to love.

As Leith & Lorna try to dance around each other, little do they realize that their time together might be coming to an end. Can Leith convince Lorna that they are meant to be? Has Lorna's love for Leith come to an end after holding out for so long? Y 'all have to click and find out for yourself and let me tell you that you will not want to put this amazing story until the very last word!! I can't wait for what else Ms. Cates has in stored for us. Kara~5 Amazing Stars

This was a great ending to a fantastic Irish Mafia series. I highly rated every book although Kieran and Westlyns still remains my favorite. :-)

This couples journey starts all the way in book one. Leith and Lorna are part of the fellowship. This couple had it rough from the get go, thru the series we find out why, and We know it’s heartbreaking.

Lorna’s parents die when she’s very young and she’s taken in by the fellowship. At the time (this isn’t for every reader, trust me) she takes up w/ the leader Sin (until he marries) his brother (Same marries) and Lieth.

They however, fall in love w/ each other & jealousy rips them apart.

Obviously.

Leith goes on to make a mess of things. But, he’s never stopped loving her over the last 4 years (and series books) and thru those books as much as I hated their start, I was pulling for them, so I was really surprised to see she wrote a book for them! But, also happy because I got attached to their love gone wrong story and I wanted to see him pull his you know what together. LOL.

This book, clears up a lot of things. Lorna had very little self worth at one time, she didn’t believe for a second Leith could love her. She felt tainted and yet Leith came thru and then it all fell apart because of the rules of the Fellowship. He wanted her and only her and at the time, it wasn’t possible. Sin had complete control. Although, these men work it out several books ago, Leith didn’t know how to fix things with Lorna. Sin and his now wife Bleu however are Now Leith and Lorna’s biggest champions and they have a lot to do with getting these two back on track. Add in Westlyns Brother in law sniffing around Lorna and we’ve finally got movement, lol.

Leith has had enough. He’s angry, he loves her, he’s over it. She’s left the bar he owns and struck out on her own, and that’s that. He finally does what he needs to do, say, to fix it.

It’s not a pretty story. She’s a great girl, who always loved him, but she didn’t feel of value.

Here we finally get to see it. Definitely not my usual read. Definitely not a safe read if you like your main characters faithful. They had a ugly start and past. But if you read the series, then you’re already prepared that something went terribly wrong in their love story.

It was really nice to see these wonderful supporting characters fight to get their HEA.

If you like Mafia/criminal books with a twist (it’s definitely unusual) then I highly recommend the whole series.

So, I love, love, love, Georgia Cates but I may not read this book. It is way out of my comfort zone, with the heroine sleeping with all three guys at the same time. So far out of my comfort zone and honestly, I hope that this kind of story line never appears again, in her books. LOL

I'll wait to read the reviews. I do like Lorna and Leith it's really hard for me to get past that it was her idea to sleep with all three at the same time. Really Hard.

Review by Lisa Kane

She had that word placed on her skin because she believes that she needs redeeming from the past. But she's wrong. I'm the one who needs absolution.
Lorna Frazier is my redemption.

Leith Duncan has been in hell the last four years. He's lost the love of his life and spent most of the past years whoring his life away to forget that loss. But no more, he's going to get Lorna Frazier back.

I'm twenty-eight, single, fucking celibate, and despised by the women that I love.

Four years ago, Lorna was involved in a foursome with Leith, Sin and Jamie from the Fellowship. (I have yet to understand Lorna taking the lead in that whole situation) But Leith and Lorna had decided that it would only be the two of them from now on. But Leith needed to talk to Sin about it, being as he was the Fellowship's leaders. Weird right? Anyway, before Leith could talk to Sin he saw Lorna doing something unforgiveable and that was the end of Leith and Lorna.

I close the door on every hope and dream I had for my future with Lorna. And I close the door of my heart, locking it so it never opens again.

Ever since then, it's been Lorna and Leith hurting each other. More so, Leith throwing his women in front of Lorna's face, making no mistake that she was replaced and by many. Since Lorna was the head barmaid in Leith's bar, she had many opportunities to have that wound opened up again and again. Until she couldn't take it anymore and quit.

Leith doesn't see much of Lorna these days and when he does, she will rarely speak to him. But he's going to change that. Lorna's just started a job as a nanny for one of the bar's notorious drunks and Leith doesn't trust this situation not to get out of hand. But even he didn't realize how quickly things can turn.

Slowly, and I mean slowly Leith is trying to be the man that he should be for Lorna. They've hurt each other so badly in the past, but he doesn't wants them to have a future. It looks like it's going well, just up until someone else shows interest in Lorna. Being a member of the order, she must be claimed by another before the leader can turn down another man's request to spend time with her. (told you it was weird) Leith can't bare seeing Lorna with another man, but it's too soon to claim her, they have only begun to talk again.

I'm not worthy of her. At least tonight I'm not but I will be. I swear that I will become a man who is worthy of her love and deep loyalty.

There's lots of evil doing in Redemption. Jealousy and disloyal brothers of the order will stir up a kilt full of trouble. Can Leith win back Lorna's heart and keep her safe?

"Into me you see."

Intense with an emotional pull between two characters that we have loved from afar. Finally, Georgia Cates has finished her SIN series and it's a bittersweet moment. Beyond thrilled to finally have Lorna and Leith's story and finally find out what happens to their lust/ uneasiness of their relationship.

"A man can think that he loves a woman, but he doesn't truly know the depth of that love until he believes that he's lost her forever."

A battle of wills between Leith and Lorna are at an all time high right off the bat in Redemption. Leith finally has his wake up call after 4 years away from his friend, barmaid and lover, Lorna. But in lyes their past was hurtful and painful words/actions that can't be undone. Will both be able to move forward, communicate their love for one another or will the past be too much and they stay as friends?

My excitement can't be contained as I devoured this book in one sitting. As a fan of Ms. Cates previous work with the Brotherhood and the Order; I was again drawn in by her writing, story lines and descriptive characters while life passes you by. A second chance at love, lust and making a family within the Brotherhood. I am sad to see this series come to an end, but The Brotherhood will always live on in my mind.

Finally! Lorna and Duncan will have to face each other and resolve their issues!

They grew up from friends to friends with benefits. After Lorna lost her parents, their friendship expanded and with Sin and Jaime, they all explored "the benefits" together as a foursome. This was fine until one day Duncan declared his love for her and she agreed to be there only for him. But their love was not to be easy. Finding Sin with Lorna in the backroom, Duncan swore never to forgive her.

FIVE YEARS have now passed and Lorna has moved on and is no longer working as his barmaid. Only one problem, Duncan cannot keep his eyes off her. He still loves her and does not know how to solve this problem... distance. This is their love story, finally!

A love that survives everything! That is what we all dream of. This final book in the series is the epitome of a love that cannot be denied. The obstacles that still come to divide only strengthens it. Not a dull moment when you have sassy Lorna and stubborn Duncan involved. Don't miss this book!

I am voluntarily reviewing this book. Thanks to the author for sharing a copy with me.

In the last five books of Georgia Cates’ The Sin series, readers have watched Leith Duncan and Lorna Frazier’s relationship/friendship/love affair crash and burn numerous times due to hurt feelings, broken hearts, and scathing words that can’t be taken back regardless of how much Leith wants them to, and it’s because of his harsh criticisms of Lorna’s past, ones that he is more than culpable in, that completely cuts the fragile and fractured bond that they once shared.

And, because of Leith’s inability to realize just how destructive his behavior has been towards Lorna, whatever little contact they had has ended and now Leith’s left figuring out how to win back the woman who owns his heart, his body, and his soul before she moves on or circumstances in the Fellowship ruin any second…third…fourth chance he may want to take with her.

Leith and Lorna’s story is the one I was dying for Georgia Cates to write. I needed inside both of their heads in order to understand how everything went so wrong and why they continued to hurt each other regardless of the hits that had already been taken and endured. I definitely can’t say that I blame Lorna for her reaction to Leith’s comments or her decision to remove herself from the volatile and heartbreaking situation. All Lorna has ever wanted is to be loved, to be cherished, to be claimed by the man she loves, but, in her mind, it’s too late…too much times has passed and too much damage has been done…too bad Leith doesn’t feel that way and is now ready to fight for the only woman he’s ever loved.

The focus of Redemption is Leith’s attempt(s) to prove to Lorna that she is what he wants…that she’s always been what he wants; he just had to get out of his own way and clearly show her that his words to her are not his true feelings and that he needs her in his life, in his bed, and most importantly, in his heart and soul. This part of the storyline is a gradual process, or at least, it’s supposed to be given how bad things are between Leith and Lorna when the story begins, but because the Fellowship world is one of danger, destruction, and death, which is the secondary story line present, Leith’s progress with Lorna is much more difficult and it forces his hand in a number of significant ways.

Leith and Lorna’s relationship throughout the course of the series has never been healthy; it’s always been mostly about sex and jealousy and until that changes, there’s no way that they can be anything but the hot mess they are. Leith seems ready to make those adjustments, but there is a lot to be sorted through and if things aren’t done in the correct order or with extreme care, everything Leith and Lorna have wanted to have together will never occur.

Georgia Cates ends The Sin series in the best possible way because Leith and Lorna are the last part of the primary group that needed to find their way, and because they do, even if it’s a battle, I’m satisfied with where the series finishes because despite the fact I hate to see these characters’ stories end, the knowledge that they’re all where they’re supposed to be makes it okay.

Lorna Frazier is my redemption.

Redemption is a spin off from the Sin Series. It is the story of Leith and Lorna. One that has been a long time coming! I am confident when I say that everyone was rooting for them. Their chemistry is off the charts! Their relationship has been brutal, filled with mistakes and misunderstandings.

Leith is strong yet breakable. Aggressive yet tender. Demanding yet giving.

The situation between Leith and Lorna is literally volatile at times. A web of hurt and destruction is catapulted from a misunderstanding. What was supposed to be the beginning for them turns into four years of despair and hurt. Leith and Lorna lash out at each other. Much of it is captured in Endurance and Unintended.

I fell in love with Lorna Frazier. I. Fell. In. Love. And I don’t even know how it happened.

Redemption finds Leith and Lorna at a crossroads. Their feelings toward each other have not dulled. In fact they may be stronger than ever. With so much history and time beneath them, they start to wonder if maybe they have made a mistake? Should they try again or release each other and move forward with their lives?

This woman does something to me.

No, this woman does everything to me.

Redemption is super sexy! Leith and Lorna are so passionate together. I had expected a different story than what was told. But, I am very happy with the way their story played out. Although Redemption is a standalone, it is best to read the Sin Trilogy or at least Endurance and Unintended (books #4 & #5). They lay the foundation for the characters. You will not be disappointed! I also enjoyed seeing glimpses of other characters throughout the series. Leith and Lorna finally have their happy ending after much angst and bumps in the road.

The Sin series is an amazing! I felt that the writing was smooth and flowing from story to story. The series is centered around The Fellowship and The Order crime organizations. A brotherhood of liars, thieves, and killers. Mobsters, agents, traditions and hot Scotsmen! Loyal. Loving. Protective. Loved this series! How about a second generation story???

I am a man and not just any man. I’m Fellowship.

I’ve waited FOREVER for Leith and Lorna’s story and it didn’t disappoint. I’ve been so curious to learn more about these two ever since Bleu and Sin’s story in book one, only getting glimpses and quick updates along the way in each book since. Gosh, they’ve been through a lot. After learning their backstory and how in depth their relationship was, made a lot of things make sense. Misunderstandings, bad timing and stubbornness played such major roles in why and how they ended up where they were at the start of this book. There were also plenty of steamy times (Swooning over that Leith). Overall L&L’s story was neatly wrapped up and beautifully told. I was so happy to catch up with all the other couples as well. Loved it.

Redemption is book 6 The Sin series by Georgia Cates. And this time we get the beautiful, smoking hot second chance romance of Leith and Lorna. I absolutely LOVED their story. The heartache, and betrayal, and their love never dying. How they were able to overcome all the twists and turns that came their way.

I LOVE these characters, this whole series is a must read. Redemption is a fantastic ending to a fantastic series that I didn't want to end!!!

English Review

“Apart, we’re broken. Together we’re whole.”

FINALLY!!!! YES, FINALLY!!!

The story of Leith and Lorna is one of the most anticipated for me this year. Their journey, which we have seen in each of the previous books but, the author only giving us small glimpses of the longings, of the suffering, of the supposed unrequited love and of the penances of the bad decisions of both protagonists.

Lorna has suffered most of her life, feeling inadequate since the death of her parents, wanting to get lost in the rampant sex and this one take her to her true love, that child who cleaned his knees and grew up with her, but who also had the power to break his heart into a thousand pieces.

Leith, being a Fellowship man, believes that he must be tough first of all. And he wanted to deny for a long time that Lorna was his weakness, his love and that he has wait a lot for his happy ending with her, for his own pride.

The book begins with a Leith tired of waiting, and begins to advance in his case, pushed by his great friends, to step in to end the suffering of both of them. Just as Lorna, though still wounded, knows that her love for Leith will never end, and something happens that makes them think that now is the best time.

I do not want to delve much into the story because you must read it, and if you guys are fans of this magnificent series that the author gives us, you will devour it in a day like me. And I can't accept that this is the last book, I CAN NOT ACCEPT IT, not with some loves that sprout and are mentioned making you blow your head. Georgia you know who I'm talking about don’t make me go to harass you everywhere because you know we need the HISTORY OF THEM!!

The mention of all the characters and their happy lives, with their children makes me want to make a roll of happiness and sigh for them. For their kick ass women and their alpha males who give everything for their ladies.

Love must triumph always, but is not easy, enemies are always in the shadows waiting to attack, but if we know anything about The Order and The Fellowship is that they are more than prepared to face them.

Leith and Lorna are the cherry on the cake, I loved their moments of love, of fighting and much more their sexy moments, the hot scenes, they are out of this world. Leith you sure how to make a girl want you. ;)

Book highly recommended, as you know should read the previous ones that are equally recommended because they are great.

Thank you Georgia, your books, especially these ones, make me very happy.

Reseña en español

“Separados, estamos rotos. Juntos, estamos completos”

••••••••••••

REVIEW: 3.75 stars--REDEMPTION is the sixth instalment in Georgia Cates’ contemporary, adult SIN TRILOGY focusing on the men and women of the Scottish Crime Syndicates The Fellowship, and The Order. This is bar owner and Fellowship member Leith Duncan, and former barmaid Lorna Frazier’s story line. REDEMPTION can be read as a stand alone without any difficulty but I recommend reading the series in order for backstory and cohesion regarding the Fellowship and the Order, as well as Lorna and Leith’s tempestuous relationship.

Told from dual first person perspectives (Leith and Lorna) REDEMPTION follows the second chance relationship between bar owner and Fellowship member Leith Duncan, and former barmaid Lorna Frazier. Four years earlier Leith and Lorna proclaimed their love for one another but Leith discovered Lorna in a compromising position with Fellowship Leader Sin Breckenridge, a position that destroyed Leith’s heart. Fast forward to present day wherein another member of The Fellowship declares his interest in our story line heroine, an interest that threatens any second chance should Lorna accept the ill-timed proposal. What ensues is the second chance romance between Lorna and Leith, and the potential fall-out as Lorna is targeted by someone from Leith’s past.

The relationship between Lorna and Leith is quick to rebuild. Four years of loving one-another from a distance but four years wherein neither one moved forward until someone else is willing to take a chance on our story line heroine. All untainted women of The Fellowship are considered fair game but Lorna is neither untainted nor willing to move forward without the man who still owns her heart. The $ex scenes are passionate without the use of over the top, sexually graphic language and text.

REDEMPTION is a story of family, friendships, betrayal and revenge. The tight-knit Scottish crime families, once at war, now brought together by marriage and alliance, will once again fall victim to death and destruction as one of The Fellowship is targeted in an act of betrayal, jealousy and hate. The premise is engaging; the romance is seductive; the characters are familiar and charismatic- all of the previous story line couples play secondary and supporting roles. My only complaint is the quick rebuilding relationship following a four-year separation-I was hoping for more angst and uncertainty but such is the nature of second chance romance. And of course, book six in a ‘trilogy’ seems rather odd therefore ‘removing’ the word trilogy is definitely an option. The epilogue fast -forwards the series approximately seven years.

I feel like I’ve been waiting for FOR-EV-ER for Lorna and Leith’s happy ending. Their relationship or lack thereof has been peppered throughout the previous novels in this series, and every time we got a glimpse of how much pain they were both in while they were apart my heart bled for them. There was never any doubt in my mind they belonged together, and I am so happy to have finally been witness to their happily ever after.

Lorna and Leith had already experienced more than their share of heartache and devastation in this series, so I was happy we got to see them try to work their issues out right from the beginning. They already had so much to overcome, regarding the ghosts of their pasts, they didn’t need another obstacle to overcome to start their love affair anew.

Of course, this is a book set in the world of the mafia, so it isn’t without a little suspense and violence, but even that helped to bring Lorna and Leith to a place of complete understanding and forgiveness, and it helped to solidify what they always knew about one another. I loved how Georgia Cates highlighted both characters’ strengths through each hardship they encountered and how Leith and Lorna learned to appreciate one another on a deeper level than ever before.

Redemption is the sixth and final book in Georgia Cates’ Sin series. This book can be read as a standalone, but I feel like to truly understand the depth and impact of their relationship over the years it should be read after the other books. (Plus, they’re fantastic, so it’s well worth it.) Redemption is written in dual first-person perspective, narrated by Leith and Lorna.

Redemption doesn’t disappoint. I had the privilege of reading this new novel in the Sin Series before the release date and I enjoyed every minute of it. Cates continued to carry the characters of the Sin Series flawlessly through this installment in the series. I loved returning to Edinburgh to catch up with my favorite Fellowship men and women.

This novel gives us the story of Leith and Lorna. While we met these characters earlier on in the Sin Series, you don’t fully understand their history until Redemption. I found myself thinking back to all their interactions in the previous books and dissecting them once I knew the history between the two.

As much as I loved this novel and I love this series, I do feel this novel fell short in comparison to the others in this series. I felt like Cates rushed their story a bit and things didn’t feel realistic to me at times. Don’t get me wrong, I loved the book and the writing, but I felt that Leith and Lorna deserved more for their story.

It was also nice to check back in with my other favorite characters as well and see how Fellowship and Guild life was treating them. My love for Bleu and Sin Breckenridge is what started my love affair with The Fellowship. And that love was reinforced again in Endurance and Unintended. These characters are flawlessly written and completely developed and I devoured this newest installment. Now, I feel like I need to start back at the beginning and re-read the series in its entirety.

Overall, I can’t say enough positive things about Georgia Cates’s last installment in the Sin Series. Just makes me wonder what goodness she has in store for us in the future…

Thoughts:
Redemption is Book 6 in the Sin Series. Although it can be read as a standalone novel. I really recommend reading the other books in the series first for optimal comprehension.
I really liked the characters Lorna and Leith. The author shows them having depth and complexity that makes them human and relatable. Having grown up together Lorna and Leith have a life-long connection as the foundation from which a strong love has developed. A love that despite many issues and years hasn’t weakened. In fact, the devotion to the love they have for each other and their continuous fight to reconnect encourages others to help keep obstacles at bay.
“It never ends. I want every part of you. Your body. Your soul. Your heart. Your love. I want it all because you are my destiny. You were made to be mine.”
Can Lorna and Leith set aside their pride and emotions to rectify the wrongs? Will their love bloom once again? There are also some very steamy scenes. Thank you Ms. Cates! I equally enjoyed the strong, familial bond between the brotherhood and their wives. Presenting a united family front, always having each other’s back. The wives embrace Lorna into their group, leading to some fun conversations.
I loved Lorna’s strength and her ability to be her own hero.
I was frustrated with the time these two wasted due to miscommunication and ego’s getting in the way. All were unnecessary delays because of fear and rejection. Their love is one we all dream of, but will it be enough? This was a very enjoyable read. I’m definitely going to have to read the other books in the series!
I read an ARC of this book. My fair and honest review is voluntary.

So damn happy that these two FINALLY got their sh*t together!

They both made a ton of mistakes during those rocky four years but it was kind of easy to forget about it all each time they came together. The passion & love they shared with one another was beautiful.

Leith... I loved his jealous streak & how protective he was of Lorna, his one request about the wedding, his friendships with the husbands & ADORED the fact that he kept the ring all of these years. I wanted to junk punch him a million times over for the crap he put Lorna through in the past but I get where it was coming from. Totally love the way his mom doted on him & Lorna too!

Lorna... I really liked how eager she was to lay down the law to the other barmaids where Leith was concerned, loved her friendships with the other wives & I was so happy that she was the one who got to take out Greer! I still don't quite understand why she was screwing Sin one-on-one back in the day (I truly feel like she could've told him no & then gone & grabbed Leith.) but since it was talked about a hundred times in these books, I'm happy to not speak on it again. Relishing in her & Leith's happily ever after is plenty good!

Very sad to see this series end but I know that it'll make for great re-reads in the future! #SinAndBleuForever

4 stars for - Redemption - book six in the Sin Trilogy by Georgia Cates. While this book can be read as a complete stand-alone, I do highly recommend starting at the very beginning of this intoxicating and explosive romance series based in Edinburgh, Scotland about the mafia and their way of life.
Lorna Frazier fell in love when she was a little girl and has never looked back. Losing her parents at a young age caused her to seek affection in ways she now regrets but she can’t change what happened in the past. Lorna wants to get over Leith once and for all and move on with her life so she can finally be happy.
Leith Duncan was never supposed to fall in love with Lorna but it happened when he least expected it. Years have passed and so many hurt feelings have been had by both him and Lorna but overcoming insecurities and spending his life with her is the only outcome he can accept. Now if he can only convince Lorna how he feels and that they belong together forever.
This was everything you want in a mafia romance with lots of steamy romance, danger and angst it definitely does not disappoint. I loved the last book about the Fellowship and hope Ms Cates will eventually decide to write a possible spinoff in the future.

Whenever I’m feeling a book slump coming on, I always pick up the Sin series. I try and recommend it to anyone and everyone, because it really was truly amazing. I’ve been patiently waiting for Lorna and Leif’s happy ending; and this book truly didn’t disappoint.
This was a total different and unique plot from he other books, and we have a bit of background of their relationship from previous books. We know he two continue to hurt each other, and push each other further a part-but this book really shows us the peak we really want into their red hot chemistry that simply can’t be put out. As the two continue to fight their attraction in the beginning, it’s clear they both care about each other. As they try and move forward, and reclaim the way they fell in love, it’s easy to swoon right along with Lorna as she realizes her happy ending will in fact come with Leif.
I’m so enthralled this author has kept this world for her readers going-it’s like any other. If I could live amongst the brotherhood, I so would! Georgia Cates you have released yet another masterpiece as an addition to this series!

I've been waiting for this book for what feels like forever. I whipped through the original Sin Trilogy in a few days and then picked up books four and five as I could. This story has been simmering a long time in the other books in the series, and it was well worth the wait!

Leith and Lorna have deserved to have their story told - their whole story - for quite a while. Leith is not the only member of this cast of characters I've wanted to punch in the face, but he was one of the first. These two have killed five long years being terrible to one another - and we finally get to see them attempt to come back together so they can be happy. Nothing is ever easy in the world of The Order and The Fellowship though, so I knew it wouldn't be anything less than a crazy, bumpy, sexy ride!

Redemption is a wonderful return to this world, these fantastic characters, and the very particular pattern of life that they lead. If you haven't read the rest, I'd advise strongly to start at the beginning. You'll be glad you did - this book can be read as a standalone, but has so much more depth if read as part of the series!

So, I just finished Redemption (The Sin Trilogy Book 6) by Georgia Cates and is a complete standalone.

I’ve got to say that I have been eagerly waiting for the arrival of this book.

Lorna Frazier had an amazing life until the death of her parents. Through her profound grief, she has done things that she isn’t proud of. You learn of these discretions in earlier books. She has only ever loved one man her entire life, Leith Duncan.

Leith Duncan has loved Lorna for as long as he can remember. But one night, changes him into an angry bitter man. He does and says things to intentionally lash out at Lorna and hurt her.

After 4 long years, he is ready to claim the love of his life. But will Lorna forgive him and let him love her for the rest of her life? Jealousy does wonders to man who is dragging his feet.

This was a beautifully written book, as all of the books in this series, with love, forgiveness, some danger and their HEA. You do see all of the previous characters from earlier books, which I personally love.

This book has all of the feels and I loved it as much as the others! I’m hoping for more future books in this series.

Redemption found!

REDEMPTION, Book 6 of the Sin Series, is a fulfilling read for this super-fan of Georgia Cates’ smoking hot Scottish criminal brotherhood.

Here’s what I liked:
• Revisiting the sexy men of the Fellowship, who can easily be described by three “C’s” - chiseled, chivalrous, and chauvinistic!
• Finally getting to Leith and Lorna’s love story - honestly, the big rift between these two have been the outlying downer in all the happy courtings and marryings that have been going on with all the other Fellowship couples!
• Much needed redemption, especially on Leith’s part, as his accumulation of mistakes has made him a less than desirable suitor - though luckily Lorna loves him anyway.
• Happily-ever-afters for Lorna and the rest of the ladies of Bleu Breckinridge’s Fellowship posse.

There is yet some unbelievable stuff that (tries to) hinders the two lovers but serves to remind us how different the world of the Fellowship is from ours. So thankful that this author has added this story to the series!

(ARC graciously received from the author without obligation.)

4 1/2 Stars

I couldn’t wait for Leith and Lorna’s book. After Sin and Bleu, they were my most anticipated couple. The reason for 4 1/2 rather than 5 stars, although this book was SO good, is because if you didn’t read the Sin Trilogy, you would not have Leith and Lorna’s full backstory.

Redemption took up at some nebulous time after Leith was a total jerk to Lorna and then is shot, ironically, trying to protect her. I felt that this book didn’t do justice to Leith and Lorna’s history.

You don’t need to have read Sin and Bleu’s story to enjoy this one, and as a matter of fact, you may be better off not having read it, but their story explains why Lorna and Leith seek redemption in the 1st place.

Leith earns his redemption in this book, and, in my opinion, becomes a man well worth getting to know. Great story and epilogue except we’re left hanging as to whether Sin and Bleu have a girl or not.

The End of a Great Series

I don’t know if it’s because throughout this series there has been such a build up between Leith and Lorna, but for some reason I felt Leith should have groveled more. I expected him to have to work harder to get Lorna to forgive him. I felt a little let down how quickly they decided to forget and forgive. I understand that they obviously did the mature thing by starting over fresh but I really wanted a bit more drama between them. If I ever had a man parade women in front of me to hurt me and tell someone I was unfit to be the mother of his children, you best believe I’d make him grovel. I know Leith changed his ways, but all of their problems could have been resolved if he’d just listened to her in the first place. Men ugh! Overall, still an enjoyable read, but lacked that extra something that made the Sin series so addictive.
