4.5 stars because it’s the same old manipulative bs, just ten years later!!!

i swear i’ve searched everywhere for this series, trying to complete my physical collection even though the characters and their behavior drives me up the wall, but i love to hate their antics!! i finally managed to find out i could read this series on kodansha’s kmanga website and i’m so beyond happy!!

They too old for high school shenanigans. 27 years old and Momo can't get rid of Sae yet? Ten years with Kylie/Kairi and they can't communicate properly yet? Ten years later, and she and Touji and Sae still can't function normally around each other? Either Momo and Kairi need to move away from Japan, or to Okinawa, or Momo need to beat Sae's ass once and for all. Or I dunno do the adult thing and get a restraining order. Sae needs a life!

Ok

It is a very drama and romance love relationships and lot of up and down between characters. I can wait to read the next volume of those book and find out what happen between all the characters in the book.

I loved this series when I was younger and first getting into manga, but goodness, coming back to this story again, just didn't sit right with me entirely. Sae is still causing trouble as an adult, and it just seems petty, dramatic, and pointless at this stage. It's a shame that the characters are back and under these circumstances again. There are some moments of growth, but it feels like an uphill battle again for the main characters.

With this story and characters I am more used to the anime than the manga and it’s my favorite anime after Sailor Moon. I liked to see the characters back again although they seem too young in drawing for their actually story age. It’s also good to see their personalities and main traits haven’t changed that much but there are a lot more deeper topics and situations so it’s easy to see they are grown ups now!

The Nostalgia Is Real

I love this, I've missed these characters. The original serious was my first manga series I read as a child, and it started my obsession with manga. I only wish this series was in a physical copy so I could add it to my collection. I own all of the Peach Girl series in physical copy, and I love them so much. I'm happy to see the characters again in this new series. But if you haven't read the original series, then don't start here.

I read Peach girl for the first time when I was 8-9
years old, (around 2004/2005) it was my first manga back
then and i have been desperately waiting for a sequel to
momo's adventures and here we are... years and years
later Miwa Ueda finally gave us Peach Girl Next.
Unbelievable really..

You would think after ten years, momo would know better than to trust sae with anything. And you would also think that after everything toji's been through, he would be smart enough to know that living with her is not a good idea either, but at least he came through and told momo the truth.

Give your characters a damn break, Ueda! It’s so petty and pathetic that Sae’s actions continue into their adult lives; she’s a sociopath, and she needs to answer for her almost-crimes!!

The peach girl saga continues, but now we are 10 years in the future from the original series.
I still love Momo and Kiari, but I am banging my head on the wall that Sae has not grown up. In fact, she has digressed as a character. The last couple of the original peach girl books she was on a path to redemption...but nope that's out the window, I guess.

Did not disappoint!

At first I was skeptical about reading this sequel because I was fine with how the original ended. But I did miss these characters so I’m glad to see their future selves staying true to themselves! Great read so far!

Read the original series a long time ago which got repetitive towards the end. I pick up the new series and it's more of the same. Our characters are progressed in life but still doing the same thing as High School. Same drama and not an interesting enough for me to continue.
