The sea is lost, pirates are death. Cassandra should have been killed at birth, like all the other children who have powers like her. The changed ones. The ones who started the war, lost the seas, and killed millions with their gifts. Lucky for Cassandra, her father is on the council. One of the seven rulers of her large town and has kept her hidden her entire life. When she is seen for the first time, she has no choice but to run, and the only place she can go is to the sea. To the pirates and a certain death. At least, that is what she thinks. When she meets six handsome pirates and they take her on board their ship, she learns about a whole new world. If only she can protect her heart when they all desire to own it.
Books 1-3 in the Saved by Pirates series. With exclusive bonus content.
G. Bailey is a USA Today bestselling author of books that are filled with everything from dragons to pirates. Plus, fantasy worlds and breath-taking adventures. Oh, and some swoon-worthy men that no girl could forget. G. Bailey is from the very rainy U.K. where she lives with her husband, two children and three cheeky dogs.
HOLY HELL! The new bonus features of the birth are awesome and only add to the story in the best way! G Bailey gave me a swift kick to the face with that one, cause this is one of my fave series!!! Never would have thought I’d have this much love for pirates, but here I am all head over heels and stuff. This story held me in its grips hard and wouldn’t let go! I could not put it down at all. Pretty sure G.L. kills us just to bring us back with her next release then kill us again. 🤷🏻♀️ I have a truly DEEP love for this series! These characters have become some of my absolute favorites and the storytelling/world building in this box set have been so awesome! I love the changed ones and how they affect the world. Cassandra is my favorite type of MC. She gives zero f*cks and kicks some serious butt. The guys are still as amazing in this book even though we don’t see them quite as much as we did in the first. It was interesting to learn about a few of their childhoods and to learn more about how the King came to be who he is. Book 3 had me gripping my seat the entire time! I devoured it and it tore at my heart what Cassandra had to go through. I was giddy with excitement for the mermaids aspect! One thing I loved about this series is although Cassandra is the MC she is not the one who becomes queen. Keeps us on out toes guessing throughout.
I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this series! It is one of my faves and a seriously amazing read! 😍🙌🏼
This was a slow starter and it took me a while to get into the story itself. Several days to bring myself to reach the 10% mark if I'm honest.
The premise of the tale is very interesting and the execution was ok, it fell a little short of 5 stars because the MC was a little dense in places and the lack of magic being used in a magic world throws the story off a bit. She is described as being smart, stubborn, and a bit scrappy yet ends up being a bit weak and damselish in some areas.
The final battle was quick and non-descriptive in my opinion. Most books that have a big build up to something epic usually actually have pages and pages of the characters going through battle.
All-in-all, it's a good story but didn't have enough substance where needed.
Loved this series so much. G. Bailey continues to amaze me with such wonderful and heartfelt stories. The bonus content of this book is wonderful way to finish off the series and combine the books all together as a box set.
Pirates, fantasy, romance, and dragons what more can you really want? This incredible box set combines all three books of the awesome Pirate trilogy that let's us follow Cass's journey from beginning to end without stopping. From a hidden childhood, escape, saved by pirates, being kept as prisoner, and really coming into her own as she tries to save the world we get to stay with Cass as well as her guys until the ultimate finale which wraps the story up nicely even if I do want more. Perfect set for fans of the genre. I really liked it so I give it 4/5 stars.
I'm in shock. Utterly speechless but at the same time I have so much to say. One, this world-building? Fan-fucking-tastic, it was brilliant, there was so much LIFE so much history and small treasures to be found of the depth of this world. It was enchanting and so so intriguing. Also.. pirates. You can never ever go wrong with pirates, AND an RH? Truly a masterpiece.
I really want to do a character break down rather than a full review because I was thoroughly intrigued by the character so ima proceed with that. There is more than likely to be spoilers in this, possibly, just a warning.
Characters worth mentioning- Zack- Alright, loved him. Honestly I enjoyed his backstory and the layout that he played in this story. I loved that he cooked and it was a passion of his, which I rarely see in RH's but it's a great passion to give the men. I hated that even in the end he still wore his gloves, because he had nothing to be ashamed of and I know he might not have liked them but he did the world a favor. FUcking loved the Little Fighter nickname.
Chaz- I'm pissed about my boy here. I feel like he got pushed to the back of this harem and I hate that. There was definitely enough room to make him more of a settled character and I hate that he lacked in that department. We got to see him work and how he helped people but he could have had a much more pivotal role in the relationship and I feel like I was cheated that he didn't have that.
Ryland- Alright.. I loved him I think the most. The way he claimed her at first, when he BARELY gave her signals he was interested was ridiculously intriguing and I loved him after that. I enjoyed how thoroughly involved he was in this relationship and how tightly woven he was into the story line. While I do believe he and Hunter carried the storyline the only one really outside of it was Chaz again pissed about it. I enjoyed his hang ups, especially after his grandma died. I know people don't really like seeing faults, especially anger ones in stories, but I always feel closer to characters when I see them.
Hunter- D a m n, okay but his hot nature and then turning into a fucking simp so quickly? Loved it. Was totally here for it. I enjoyed him giving her gifts and watching as he came to her so quickly once he realized his feelings. Also the Little Bird nickname was adorable. He was definitely a major storyline point and relationship point but I enjoyed that none of the others were 'the one' yanno what im talking about. So many RH's have one guy that you KNOW the character should've just ended up with because the author clearly didn't know how to write the relationship.
Jacob- Okay but his obsession with rare objects.. and then the comment about how he found the rarest one with Cass? ESPECIALLY because he saved her? Perfection. Utter perfection, he was a heartbreaker in everything he did and no one could possibly tell me they didn't love him because he was so so perfect.
Dante- I like that he met her first. I thoroughly enjoyed the fact that he was the one on the boat to lock her in and tell her she's staying because come on that scene was hot. He had a lot of great moments, but also slightly felt like a side character. Not as much as Chaz because we definitely saw more of him, but he didn't seem pivotal and again I hate that because I fell in love with these guys. Also the flirting and calling each other 'pretty girl' and 'pretty boy', fantastic.
Sea God- Loved this dude and hated him at the same damn time. He was irritating as all fuck but I felt bad for him. I mean the riddles weren't confusing just stumped me for a hot second. I didn't feel bad for him when he mentioned he wished he could have changed his decision when he asked Cass because fuck you man you gave up your chosen for what? A relentless rule where you can barely save any of your children? It's fucked.
Master Pirate- Listen I know we don't get much of him okay I'm aware. But for some damn reason I was obsessed with his character and the way he acted towards Cass and everyone else. It was beautiful.
Questions for thought- Who the fuck was Ace? Why was that weird ass encounter mentioned and then never spoken of? Why didn't I get closure for that. It was weird and obviously had a significance for how he reacted.
Did Everly ever go marry the Mermaid King? We never got the answer and I didn't see if there were more books in this world.
Is her kid gonna be the queen or something? What was the significance of the crown mark?
Hot pirates, evil king, and a sea god... perfection!
This was such a fun series to get sucked into. I don’t think I have ever read anything pirate related let alone a pirate RH. And this even has a fantasy/paranormal twist to it with chosen ones, changed ones, and elemental powers gifted to mortals from the gods. Very unique and creative story.
I really enjoyed book 1 because of all the characters, world, and relationships that were being built. Everything was so detailed and intricate. I easily found myself lost in this world that the author has created.
I found myself losing steam with book 2 and maybe that’s because I felt like things were not going in Cassandra’s favor most of the time. She was imprisoned and watched her loved ones suffer and die.
Book 3 brought me back with all the progress her and her pirates were making in the mountains with the other changes ones. Plus there was Vivo who was a deadly ally for Cassandra when she needed her.
Overall the series was great and even leaves it open for potential spin off with Everly if the author chooses to. Fantastic book that I recommend to anyone interested in reading RH that isn’t your typical run of the mill vampire or wolf shifter romances.
I wasn't expecting this book to go in the direction it did. It started off a little slow for my tastes but after finishing it, I am very happy that it is written the way it was. I have a lot of theories about who Cassy is and I'm hoping that a lot of them will be proved or even disproved!!!
This second book was amazing. In the last book, Cass was captured to be turned over to the King. The very evil king. In this book she is a prisoner and has to compete in what the King calls "games." He really is an evil person and I hope he gets what's coming to him in the last book. Her pirates come to try and save her of course ❤❤❤❤, we love the pirates! They are super sexy and quite lovely.
I always hate when a book series comes to an end. But I love what Gem has done with Saved by Pirates and I loved the bonus material. My emotions were everywhere in this book. I loved it for sure and the way it ends makes me so happy, but they're were some tears along the way. Gem, you've done it again! Fantastic job and thank you for being an amazing author.

Saved by Pirates is an exciting trilogy full of adventure, magic, and of course... Pirates!
Cassy is a changed one, a child kissed by the sea god and destined to save her world. Together with her chosen ones, a group of irresistible pirates who saved her life, Cassy must defeat the evil king controlling their world and bring peace back to the land and sea.
This is a fantastic series with literally everything you can want in a book. There is tons of action and romance, magic, gods and even dragons and mermaids. G. Bailey seamlessly weaves together all of these fantastical creatures and themes to create a new and unique story that pulled me in and kept me on the edge of my seat.
I loved this box set because it included a little bonus content that left me hoping for another book or series set in this world. It was great to reread this series all together in this set, and get a little extra bit of story added in.
I really hope G. Bailey chooses to write more about this world in the future!
This is a gorgeous presentation of a beloved series!! The Exclusive Bonus Content is absolutely beautiful and shows the unique and heartwarming bond that is shared throughout this series 💗💗💗 If pirates intrigue you and strong independent women thrill you, this was written just for you!! There is friendship, as well as true love, battles and losses which make this one amazing adventure!Beware: You will laugh, cry and fall in love repeatedly💋 See why the gorgeously talented Ms. Bailey is a favorite of mine as she also becomes one of your favorites 😉 Her writing style is so very delightfully detailed and her ideas are refreshingly unique. I adore her 💖 The cover is stunning and draws you in!
***I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review.*** This was my first pirate themed book and I know why. I am not a fan. I just couldn't get into the book. So with that being said, just because Pirates are not my thing, it doesn't mean the book wasn't good. Everything else about the book from the writing and the characters were great. There was some unrealistic parts to this book which also made it hard to believe in ways. For example, this sheltered girl has multiple love interests and they jump to sex. It just seems like too much for someone so sheltered and inexperienced. If you are a fan of pirates, I recommend you give this book a try!
Here I thought I'd just have a quick read though because I read the books individually, but how wrong was I. Not only did I have a quick read through, but I got sucked back into the aybass with Cassy's & her pirates' story! I loved the extra bonus scene. It's a nice refresh before we read E's story; now I really can't wait to read her journey, rise above, & will D win her over.
(P.S. I'm not narcissist because I'd like to point out my name's Kassandra and her name's Cassandra & we both go by Kassi & Cassy, spelling is just semantics. 😂 😂)
Can I be rescued by pirates? I loved this series from the start! There are so many twists and turns and I love them all. This story really keeps you guessing on what will happen next. The one thing that lasts through the whole series is Cassandra and her men. There relationships and interactions are what make this series amazing. There are sexy men, dragons and sea gods, what more could you ask for? But wait here is more, when you read this collection, there is a bonus scene between Cassandra and her men. It is the PERFECT epilogue to this series. Read this series now!
This series is one of my favorite pirate series. Not only do I love RH series but I love me some hot sexy pirates! Cassie is an awesome heroine who even though was sheltered seemed to take EVERYTHING in stride. Never did she lose hope or panic, she is someone you can adore and admire. The guys were amazing, protective, supportive, and loving. I loved every bit of these books and I'm hoping we not only get a spin-off with their future offspring but also a spin-off to see what happens with a certain land and sea queen!! Fingers crossed Gem!
I read all three back to back. I liked the extras at the end. The main issue I had with this one was there were just too many love interests. Six is a bit much to really get to see the relationship with Cassie. For being sheltered her whole life she seemed to jump into relationships/sex too quickly. It was a bit annoying to keep reading how she was so drawn and "my pirates". I get that she was drawn but it didn't need to be repeated so much. I loved Everly's relationship with Cassie and look forward to her story.
This series has genuinely had been hooked from the get go! Now having all the books together in a box set and with the bonus feature is unbelievably awesome!! Throughout this series you never truly knew which way it was going to go and I was gripped throughout. It’s full of adventure, action, mystery, love, friendship, secrets and so much more!!
This is a series that I would enjoy re reading many times and hope that we will be getting more from this world soon 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟
PIRATES!!That was what intrigued me when I read the blurb..Initially it was a bit slow placed but i love the direction it took after that..This collection has a lot of action and hot steamy scenes..I loved the way Cassandra becomes confident as the series proceeds despite her sheltered life before..Add in dragons and adventure this entire collection is a complete package..pirate men are definitely awesome The first two books in this trilogy end in a cliffhangers.. so I kinda enjoyed this trilogy as a collection..the final epilogue was a bonus and super awesome..excellent series..
So glad I finally got to read this series and finish it. I had read the first book when it came out and missed my opportunity to read the rest when they came out. But I'm so glad I got to read them together in this three book pack. I loved the characters but I still wish there was more. Maybe a spin-off with Everly or now Riah. Who knows? I do know though I have more G. Bailey books to go read now.
If you are looking for a good pirate book, look no further!! And how convenient to have the whole series in an collection. Plus the bonus scenes are freaking awesome. I really enjoyed watching Cassandra and her men's relationships grow and them themselves grow as characters. The Saved by the Pirates series has it all, hot men, action, lovable female lead, steamy scenes, betrayal and oh yeah Dragons!! Do not miss out of this series!! Promise you will like it!!
Writing a review purely bc this is the second time I’ve read this book series and I love it! Slow burn, good plot, and the steamy parts are the perfect balance of “can I read this in public” with “this may or may not be my fantasy” I love the author and the books are good. Shoutout to all her heroines to being BAMFS who don’t need no man- even though they have a few.
It's an interesting and exciting story about a changed girl? I'm not sure i understood this story much there is not enough back story except that fmc has a marked on her forehead and that makes her a target by the evil king and everyone are terrified of her and always trying to either sell her or kill her. Anyway maybe I will listen to book 2 just to understand the story more.
I loved this series and its characters. The MC is strong and has every intention of helping her people to freedom from the king along with her sexy and sweet pirates. Cassandra went from a hermit women to a strong pirate leader with the help of her pirates. I loved the twists and turns in this series
I loved this series!!! I have never read any books that had pirates but I really enjoyed it. It is such a different series than I am used to from this author but it was amazing. The FMC was strong and I loved her sassiness. The men how could you not love them. Each book was better than the last. This series is a definite must read!!!
I just couldn't put this book down. I love this author as her words really bring this book to life for me. I felt as if I was living in this world she has created. I'm not really a fan of pirate stories and I even forgive her for mention the word pirate on every page! But this book is truly a fantasy.
I loved all of the books in this series and will probably do a re-read of them in the future! For more details on my thoughts, you can find my reviews for each novel separately on their own Goodreads page.
If you are a fan of mystery, adventure, pirates, mermaids and more, you won't want to miss this action packed series!
I fell in love with this story. Pirates, dragons, elemental powers. I mean what more could you ask for!!? It's so well written and it moves along from book to book flawlessly. There were a few moments I didn't see coming and some that had me in tears. Loved it so much and I hate it's over with!
I love this series so much! Loved the bonus scene as well. G. Bailey you are amazing! If you love magic, pirates, and RH this series is for you! I can't wait to get my hands on Heir!! I seriously could not put this series down.
I read the books individually and loved each one. It was a spectacular tale of pirates and magic. This boxset also comes with a bonis scene which was super sweet. Definitely worth the read!!!
The first time I read this series I loved it. And every other time. And this was no different. I love the bonus scene of Rhia’s birth. I hope we see her future 🖤
This series was one of my favorites by G. Bailey. I love the characters and their interactions. Very well written and thought out and I did not find a lot of repetitive sentences. Overall very much worth the buy !
