A shy bookworm is about to get an education in falling in love from three incredibly hot football players.
When college football star Graham Lawson is given one last Hail Mary chance to pull up his GPA or lose his spot on the team, he turns to the sweet but shy bookworm from his hometown - the girl who saved his ass back in high school.
Skyler Sutton is beyond stunned when her longtime crush asks her to come stay with him for the entire summer. She's even more surprised when Graham's two incredibly hot, fun-loving roommates decide to educate her with a lifetime of firsts she'll never forget.
Charlie and Tyson show Skyler friendship, compassion, and love that knows no limits. They even try to protect her from having her heart broken when they convince playboy Graham to keep his hands off of his sexy, little tutor.
But can two amazing guys really replace the one man who Skyler would give anything to be with?
After Graham caves and can no longer resist Sky, will she have to choose between her unconventional relationship with Charlie and Tyson? Or will Graham decide to team up with his roommates to give Sky everything she's ever dreamed of and more?
Lane Hart is a New York Times and USA Today bestselling author. She lives in North Carolina with her husband, D.B. West, and their two children. She loves all things beach related, especially sea turtles, and is a huge fan of the Carolina Panthers.
3.5 stars but I'm rounding up because this was a pleasant surprise!
Going into this book, I wasn't super impressed by the first few chapters. It seemed like it was going to be a fine but unsurprising romance. As it went on, I ended up liking it more and more, with an exception of one twist.
I really enjoyed the dynamics between the whole group. Two of the male characters are bisexual, which you don't see much of in reverse harem stories. I didn't love how Graham, the third guy, reacted to them being bisexual but there wasn't anything I read as specifically biphobic. I liked how they all treated Skyler, but particularly Tyson and Charlie. It seemed like a really good relationship.
I liked Skyler as a character though she was a bit underdeveloped. She had trauma based phobias that she got over unrealistically quickly but it added to the story so I won't fault it too much. I would like to see more of her relationship between her and her father. It seemed like she only complained about him the whole time, even though he mostly raised her as a single parent. I also didn't love what happened to her at the very end. It's just something I don't like in my romances because I do not find it romantic but the book doesn't linger on it for long and it only comes up at the very end so it didn't bother me too much.
This was a surprisingly book for me because of the dynamic between Tyson and Charlie and how the relationship turned out in the end. I would definitely read more from this author in the future. I know she has other reverse harem books so I may read one soon!

Shy, geeky Sky has crushed on Graham for years. She never would have thought that the summer before her senior year of college she would end up tutoring and living with her gorgeous Graham and his beautiful housemates / football teammates. This she does and learns all about sexual fun. Lane Hart's story drew me in quickly. This did not take long to read and it was so worth the read. This is mostly a three some, until closer to the end. Still would be considered a reverse harem.

3.4 stars. So this was a ride. I really enjoyed seeing Ty and Charlie build Sky up and work with her on her fears.
I also enjoyed the sex.
But I’ll be honest. This isn’t my favorite kind of RH.
I really love when the guys are on board from the beginning and bring the woman into their fold as their center to complete them.
The two RH books I’ve read from this author, this one and Encore, it was sort of the opposite.
In this case, Sky is super innocent, a virgin in every way, and Ty and Charlie befriend her while Graham is at summer school during the day. They start out just friends with benefits, Ty and Charlie trying to get Sky over Graham because he’s a player and they just know he’ll hurt her if they hook up. And let me just say. That first time with them was less than satisfactory for me. The author wrote Sky’s reactions so awkward and over the top appreciative it just felt weird. Not to mention that the guys weren’t all that attentive. Thankfully that got better as it developed.
Then Sky hooks up with Graham and everything sort of falls apart with Ty and Charlie. Not only with their relationship with Sky, but with each other.
I don’t know. It ended okay. But I wasn’t completely happy with that either. Maybe it was more realistic. But I really like when the RH goes into their future as a whole. Where they sleep together every night. There’s not a favorite. And if they have children, all of them are equal parents.
But it didn’t really work out like that in this book, and I can’t help my disappointment.
*sigh* I liked it. It was hot and sweet and all that, but It could have been better and I’m just not as happy as I would’ve liked with where things ended. Like I said. This just isn’t my preferred type of RH.
Okay so this was way more than I usually get from my RH reads. Don't get me wrong it was hot and dirty but the back story in this one was awesome. I loved the dynamic between the 4 characters and how they each developed their own relationship within the group. I particularly liked the dynamic between Charlie and Tyson - HAF! I will definitely be looking for more from this author.
Meh...I'm a little disappointed... Shy girl with no friends turns overnight into a sexually liberated temptress? Additionally, Graham seems like the enemy when it comes to Ty and Charlie. They all get their happy-ending but I would have preferred less drama between the main characters.
I am fairly new to the reverse harem story world so I was pretty excited to read this book. I felt that the premise was good but there were a couple of things that didn't add up for me. First Skyler coming to spend the summer was a little far fetched the way it was presented. Although losing touch with people after high school, working for family in a job that doesn't suit you and having difficulty making friends or connecting with people are all realistic, dropping everything to leave in two days and help someone who you have had no contact with except cyber stocking for the past two years is not. That would be one crazy girl and I think they should have occassionally written each other during that time or had some sort of foundation to make it realistic. Secondly, although it is a pet peeve of mine for virgin to be seduced by male player whose a great lover. That aside, their is no way the majority of people would be willing to lose their virginity in a threesome especially when it's the first threesome for all of them. No way do guys who regularly have 'bimbos' around change their behaviour in a 180 the day the girl arrives to help. Graham had classes and a reason to be focused for the summer... The other guys not so much. Also, although Skyler made her feelings for Graham clear, I don't think the guys would have bowed out so gracefully when he entered the picture... not if they were having as much sex as was implied. Thirdly (spoiler) Graham came around to things a little too quickly. In the span of 7 weeks he goes from being so undisciplined he is losing his scholarship to being ok with starting a serious polyamorous relationship and being a father?? The 'player' guys are ok going from having sex with Skylar all day while Graham is in class to her visiting them a couple of times a week???Finally (spoiler) Skylar's pregnancy, like most of what happens during the book, is no surprise. Mentioning they didn't use a condom, problems getting the morning after pill, extra tired, suddenly getting sick, eating peanut butter and pickles ect ect Way too many clues. Could have easily put just one or two in there and still gotten your point across. Overall if your looking for a book featuring polyamorous sex scenes (engaging all partners include same sexes) this is the book for you. If you prefer something a little more, in story telling and character development, I would give this book a pass.
Totally crappy “reverse harem” that’s not worth the read, because it’ll just piss you off. This book should have been a ménage romance. The heroine has certainly naive personality traits that just make my eyes roll. She’s been “in love” with Graham since high school, and is the reason she drops everything to tutor him during summer vacation. Graham is a shallow dick that couldn’t be bothered to get at least C’s in high school or college and is about to lose his football scholarship. Tyler and Charlie are the most redeeming parts of the book. They are sweet to the heroine the whole time, the help her overcome some issues and develop sexually. They were all cute and happy together. Like it said this book should have been a ménage romance.
Now..... if the book had to be reverse harem, like advertised then it need to be longer with WAAAAAY more development on Grahams character. The whole part where Graham and Sky end up having sex for the first time, with no talking from either character about how they feel about each other, and Graham having been a giant DICK was just stupid. Also sex with no condom on? REALLY?! The heroine didn’t need to end up pregnant to give her a reason to stay if the story were written better. I know the author can do it, I’ve read other stuff from her!
I could go on forever with the problems, like I said Don’t wast your time.

Skyler had a crush for Graham since high school. When he contacts her to help him study for summer classes, she accepts and go live with him and his two flatmates for two months. However, Graham still doesn't see her as a woman, while his flatmates, Charlie and Tyson instead recognise her for the beautiful woman she is. They help her overcome her traumas, but when it is time to choose, Skyler doesn't want to.
This book started well, but then from halfway I felt everything was rushed. Graham suddenly realises that Skyler is a woman and declares his love for her, while the two guys who noticed her before she changed are thrown to the side. Moreover it felt quite unbelievable that no pharmacy had the morning after pill in the entire city.

REVIEW: 3 stars-RUSH by Lane Hart is a new adult, contemporary, stand alone, erotic, romance story line focusing on three friends and the young woman with whom they would fall in love.
NOTE: RUSH is a reverse harem romance with MM, MFM, and MMFM sexual situations.
Told from four first person points of view (Graham, Skyler, Charlie and Tyson) RUSH follows Graham Lawson as he struggles to maintain his football scholarship and his place on the team. Failing out was not an option so Graham contacts his high school tutor, a social introvert, nerd and emotionally damaged girl who once had a crush on said story line hero. Enter Skyler Sutton, and the woman with whom all three young men would fall in love. What ensues is the building relationship between Skyler, Charlie and Tyler, as Graham demands time for himself.
As a seven year old child, Skyler Sutton suffered at the hands of her mother, a woman whose fragile emotional and mental disabilities have left lasting impressions on our story line heroine. Fast forward to present day wherein Skyler’s numerous phobias affect her daily life but meeting Charlie and Tyson, Skyler soon discovers there is more to life than books and studying.
Graham Lawson is on the verge of loosing it all and is desperate to pull up his marks or face permanent expulsion. With the possibility of no future career in the NFL, Graham calls upon his high school tutor, a young girl he hopes will drop everything for the boy she once loved. Having no plans to seduce the ‘nerd’ he sees nothing more than a friend, Graham must face the reality that Skyler has bloomed with Charlie and Tyson’s affections.
The relationship between Skyler and the three young men is one of immediate attraction and highly sexual but Graham is the last to notice Skyler and the woman she has become. From a withdrawn and socially repressed nerd, Charlie and Tyson are quick to pull Skyler out of her comfort zone into a sexual siren who isn’t above some seduction of her own. The $ex scenes are erotic, intense and passionate with MM, MFM, and MMFM sexual situations.
RUSH is an erotic and sexy story line but I am in the minority, and I have to question a number of situations and the reality of Skyler’s transformation both physically, sexually, mentally and emotionally. The premise is entertaining; the romance is erotic and intense; the characters are colorful and charismatic. In the end, RUSH is a story of fiction focusing on the reverse harem and sexual explorations of four friends, therefore, I have to push reality to the side for the sake of art.
Hear me, hear me... The amazing Lane Hart has a new book that will make you blush... Have you read any books from her? If you have you know what I'm talking about but if you haven't... Girls... You haven't seen the light yet. Have you read any reverse harem book? Trust me... They are to die for. Lane Hart has an intense and breathtaking writing full of feelings and emotions surrounded by a blanket of desire and sexiness... Rush is her latest release and tells the stories of Graham, Charlie, Tyson and Skyler. Graham is a football player in jeopardy of losing his scholarship and is position in his team. His grades are getting lower and if he can't improve them he will lose it all. And now he needs a miracle or a tutor... Skyler let's just say it's a geek. She's a very reserved girl with huge trust issues. She's shy and just wants to be left alone with her studies. Charlie is used to have all the things money can buy. His parents always gave him everything so you can guess the rest. Living with his best friends and playing football is what he likes as well as girls, booze and parties... But when girls are with you just because of your money you tend to think if that is what you really want... Tyson is also a football player. He's a player inside and outside of the field. One night stands are his motto since he was hurt in the past... And now they are sharing a room with... Dayum this book is hot.... Do freaking hot... The plot is amazing, very well written, super engaging and detailed. Jeez... The interation between the characters is beautiful and sweet, with desire pouring from all sides... Each chapter was better than the previous and once I started it I couldn't put it down. For the lovers of a good steamy and sexy as hell story... This is your book. But I need to tell you something... Get s few change of panties.... You'll need it. Love can come when you least expect it and when you're hit by that you must embrace it. Lane you're on fire woman... This book was superb and I want more... Can I have more? I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.
I am not usually so taken by reverse harem stories. Most that I have read have been extremely silly and written in such a way that it is really all about the sexy scenes and a tiny bit of story strings them together. That is not the case with Rush, although there are still plenty of sexy scenes. There is a real story here. A good story. Sky has lived her life since she was seven afraid of everything, including herself. It is completely understandable, but has made her a very lonely, sad person, with little direction or purpose in life. Then there is Graham. The only friend she has ever had and the word friend is a pretty loose term to be used. He calls on Sky to do what she has always done for him. Pick him up and fix his life. When she comes to live with him over summer break she meets his two roommates and best friends Ty and Charlie. The love and caring they showed to Sky was very sweet and endearing. They way they drew her out of her shell and helped her over come her fears was in my opinion the heart of this story. While this was a reverse harem story, to me it was an awakening of Sky. Charlie and Ty spent so much care and love guiding her to face her fears and overcome them.
I loved the characters and loved the story. The sexy times were an added bonus. I highly recommend this one be added to your must read list.

🔥🏈 So. Freaking. HOTTTTTTTTT!!!🏈🔥 I love sports romance, but take a nerdy girl and have her surrounded by hot football players... And I'm gone! I love that Skyler, though nerdy, felt completely comfortable with allowing 2 men to take her virginity. The fact that she opened herself up to these 2 men after all she had been through was so unexpected. Especially when you see the way she was closed off from other experiences. But she showed real strength in overcoming her fears. These men knew that she was special... It was just a matter of figuring out if they could work out together! This story was way freaking hot and they way everything got so wrapped up was perfect in my opinion. Absolutely worth 5 flaming stars!! 🔥🌟🔥🌟🔥🌟🔥🌟🔥🌟
Graham is a college football star that is on the verge of losing his scholarship he gives it one last chance and contacts his high school tutor Skyler. She is smart, a bit socially awkward and still secretly in love with Graham. Skyler is ready to spend the summer sweating it out in the heat and humidity of Florida at her father's pizza shop. She is not prepared for the out of the blue call from Graham and the request for help. Once she arrives she is shocked to learn that she will be staying with not only Graham but his two college roommates. This is a sweet, sexy sizzling hot story line that will have you fanning yourself. Get ready for the cute tutor to become schooled . None of them are ready for what is about to happen to change all of their lives. ~~Michele McMullen~~
Rush is a fast paced romance featuring college football player Graham and his housemates Ty and Charlie. On the verge of losing everything because of his poor grades Graham is given a last chance, on the condition that his grades improve. Who better to help him than old friend Skyler? Skyler has had a crush on Graham forever so when he asks for his help she drops everything, not expecting just how complicated her life is about to become. With Graham not showing any interest in her, Skyler finds herself growing closer to Ty and Charlie and it’s not long before they’re crossing all sorts of lines.
I really enjoyed this book. It’s hot, super sexy and the characters (especially Ty and Charlie) are easy to like. Another good book from Lane Hart
I loved Skyler with Ty and Charlie. They made an amazing trio. These guys were so sweet and caring with her. Graham was the one she had her eye on, but I found it a little bit hard to get into his character. He was a little too clueless for his own good. I really loved the trio though, and turning it into a RH relationship was OTT hot.
If you're into college romances, this book has the most genuine college experience with all the immaturity and toxic relationships you can imagine. Although this didn't really feel like a romance book, it just felt like a book about sex and relationships that don't mesh very well.

Okay so this was a fun ride to read about. Skylar is this really shy girl who doesn’t have any friends because of a tragic accident that happened when she was 7. So as a result she grew up socially awkward. Now she has the opportunity to help the one guy she has be crushing on since she was 15, Graham. The only problem is he never really noticed her. He likened her to meg from family guy.
By his roommates feel differently. Ty and Charlie like her and really liked her. She is different than what they are used to. And hey both also have their sexuality issues they are still figuring out. When Skylar comes in and becomes the 4th roommate. Ah is shakes things up, for everyone.
First, Ty and Charlie help Sky get over her own fears. Making sure she is comfortable with herself. And she helps them get closer but she still hold out hope for Graham. And then finally it happens. Graham wants her and so she stops fooling around with Charlie and Ty because regardless it will always be Graham.
But as much as she wishes he would be enough she still loves and care for Charlie and Ty and needs all three of them. And sh gets just that with a cherry on top.
This RH didn’t exactly follow the same rubric as others and works really well and is amazingly written. I loved it.
This book is absolutely scorching hot, it will make you blush when reading in public and definitely lives up to the warning it came with. Personally I've ever had a bad book from Lane Hart, it's always been five star reads. She has completely gone to a new level with this A Reverse Harem series. Skyla’s character really grew with each chapter, with the help of Tyson and Charlie and she really became a women. I absolutely loved reading the banter and struggles Ty and Charlie went through personally and how their friendship grew, it's gives a good insight to a struggle some men go through. Graham took a while to grow on me in the start of the book but boy did he come through on the end. It's definitely a adult fantasy read. And brilliant with each turn of the page.
A nice college romance. Graham is a great football player who had Skyer tutoring him to make it through high school, he got a scholarship to play football and she went to a different college. Senior year of college hes failed to meet his GPA in danger of being booted from the team and college he calls Skyler asking for her help again. Skyler has been in love with him since she was 15 of course she goes. His 2 roommates take an immediate liking to her and help her come out of the shell of her tragic childhood. Both roommates fall in love with her and they start a secret relationship with her. The whole time Graham is fighting his feelings until one day he stops fighting and they get together. A good story I loved how much care his friends take with her, it was beautiful to read her opening up like a flower.
I really enjoyed this one. I’m a sucker for reverse harem romances, especially when some or all of the guys are also into each other. That was definitely the case for this one, though the MM action was a little more tame than I have read in other books.
I loved Skyler so much. She’s shy, a book-nerd, and insecure. But that’s why the relationship that started between her, Charlie and Tyler made me feel so good. They actually liked her for who she was and not how she looked. It was a feel-good type of book and I love those so much.
That was also the case with Graham, who she’s had a crush on since high school. He eventually realized just how great Skyler is and it was wonderful to read.
I wish I got a bit more of the ending, but it was short and sweet. Still fine by me though... I love reading a happy ending. ❤️
This started out well because Skyler was lonely and sad but Charlie and Ty quickly took a liking to her. She had real friends for the first time in her life and they were so sweet to her. RH and MM aren’t my thing, but I didn’t mind them here since the story was otherwise enjoyable. Once Graham finally realized he had feelings for her, the story veered way off course.
She wanted nothing to do with her friends once Graham was attracted to her, plus she was so desperate for him that she had unprotected sex and then couldn’t be bothered to find her own morning-after pill. Graham treated Sky like garbage, I couldn’t stand the way he spoke to her but she was fine with it and even had his baby. This was a pretty good story right up to the end but it would’ve been much better if Sky had kicked him to the curb for Ty and Charlie.
DNF 55% This is what I get for only reading the first few words of the blurb. Can’t believe I paid money for this one. I’m having a hard time pinning down exactly what I didn’t like - probably the immaturity of the characters. I mean, the guys have had lots of sex. I get it. Like, a lot of sex. Daily. Please, can I stop reading about how much sex they used to have before she moved in? No, you’re gonna remind me again about the always unlocked front door and ‘bimbos’ who frequent their house/beds? Cool. I’m out.
Also. ARE these guys friends with Graham? Or did they just get stuck with him somehow, because they don’t seem to like the guy. But, maybe it’s me, not being able to get past the immaturity of the name calling.
What an awesome read! I wasn't sure if I was going to really get into this story but being written by Lane, I knew I had to at least try. I can honestly say that I loved everything about this book. The characters are easily likable and the dynamic between them all works; the bedroom scenes are hot as well. The only thing that I could say against it was I felt like the ending was rushed a bit... but that could simply be that I wanted to read more of their lives together and didn't wadn't to book to end! :-) I totally recommend this book to other readers as I would for any of Lanes books. You won't be disappointed.
Resisting him and his two roommates...big problem. So glad is shocked to get a message from Graham, her high school crush, but when he says he needs a tutor for the summer, it makes perfect sense. Just like high school, he only wants her for her brain, but just like then, she can't say no. His roommates, Charlie and Tyson, are a different story. They're smitten with her right away and want to help and protect her in any they can. When Graham finally seems to see her as a beautiful woman, will it be a dream come true or will he break her heart? And where does that leave Charlie and Ty? Great story and even better characters. I loved it!!!

I liked it. I liked the concept of it...but what fails to get my attention is the fact that it feels like Ty and Charlie are afterthoughts. Like I get she is obsessed with this dude Graham..but the more it went on..and the more it became like this "FRIENDS" concept. Like these dudes were actually trying really hard to open up her shell and developed feelings for her...but not her? Well not until the very end. Which hardly seems fair...I got to read the progress on their feelings but somehow not enough from her. Idk I'm still kinda iffy about it I guess. But the steamy parts were hot tho. Juz sayin Lol.
First book from these dynamic duo. I knew what I was getting into I’m not really into twenty something romance. That aside your dealing with a young woman who when she was a child was almost killed by her mother. A mother with mental health issues. Our girl takes med for anxiety & depression (I think). She’s at home working for dad when her high school crush asks her to tutor him for his summer classes. From there his roommates & Sky end up having sexual experiences & forming a bond. Enter 3 roommate and problems. No spoilers here. I liked the story. I will definitely read more from them.
