It is now part of the Miss Fortune World published by J&R Fan Fiction. I wish to thank Ms. DeLeon for graciously allowing other writers to explore their own writing in a most Sinful way.

Sinful Stories is a series of stories written by Shari Hearn within the Miss Fortune World featuring Fortune, Gertie and Ida Belle. They may be read in any order; however, they do follow the timeline of Jana DeLeon's Miss Fortune series with regard to Fortune's relationship with Carter. With the earlier books in the series, Carter doesn't know Fortune's true identity. As Jana DeLeon's series changes with regard to Fortune's continued threat from Ahmad, future stories within Sinful Stories will reflect those changes.Currently, the stories within Sinful Stories DepartedMutiny on the Bayou

2023 bk 25. An interesting premise - Gertie and Fortune are sent to anger management camp where they soon learn a judge is making money off the sentencing of ladies to the camp, that the manager isn't who she is supposed to be, and that there are evil plans in motion. What can these two ladies do without their telephones/Gertie's purse/their armaments? Plenty - even the bad guys forget that two ladies with brains who know how to use them can defeat evil every time! Not my favorite book (too many cliched prison movie lines), but readable.

Extremely disappointed - flat 2D characters

I was looking forward to reading about Ida Belle, Gertie, Fortune, et al - so, I could have wept with disappointment when this writer - despite the character templates available - managed to turn Ida Belle and Gertie into average little old ladies, and Fortune into a lacklustre gopher that I wouldn't employ in a sweetshop let alone the CIA! My sister only read the first couple of chapters, closed the book, and it's doubtful she will ever open it again! It gets zero stars - and if I could give a minus rating I would!

Anger management never went so wrong

Gertie and Fortune get into a tussle with Celia and a judge sends them to a 3 day anger management class. They believe the judge is doing some unsavory things so they decide they are going go look for proof when they get to the site. Gertie poses as Miss
Gertrude, a Gertie look like so they don't get harassed by others in the class. Millie a grandmotherly type tries to befriend the girls. Things don't always appear as they should and it all hits the fan. A great story with lots of excitement.

Interesting concept

This story has a good plot and storyline. The characters are truer to the originals created by Jana DeLeon, although they are still edgier and more emotional. I liked this story significantly better than the first one as the main characters treat each other better in this one. Ms. Hearn made me believe this story could have taken place in the world of Miss Fortune. I will continue reading the other books in the series.

Anger. Management camp, Gertie and Fortune? Hahaha

Need I say more... Gertie and Fortune lose their cool in a confrontation with Ms. big white panties and get sentenced to 3 days anger management camp. Picture Gertie and Fortune in group therapy chanting ribbit ribbit ribbit and hitting the floor with a foam battant, what could go wrong? Good entertaining read

Another very entertaining story about Fortune, Gertie and Ida Belle. Love the situations they find themselves in! Also love to see how their relationships develop between them. The anger management camp was very funny along with the resolution of their predicament. Thanks Shari!

As good as I've come to expect...which is AWESOME!I I love these larger than life characters and reading one of Hearn's books is like visiting with friends. Somehow the crazy Lucy and Ethel situations they find themselves in manage to make sense. In a weird, Mudbug sort of way.

Great read

I've been reading her last few books and can't seem to be able to put them down till I've finished them. she holds your attention through the whole book. She will make you laugh at some of the things these women do and say. Waiting on the next book.

Entertaining

Very similar to Jana Deleon's rotting style. It's a good short novel to help pass the time between Miss Fortune books.
