I actually, legitimately have no idea how to review this book. I mean, I LOVED it. There is something extraordinary when someone is able to write a story a bout the power of stories. Even just the colours in the artwork (just the colours!) are worth raving about.
Stories are the best magic. Let this one take you to its worlds
This second volume is pretty much like the first: very pretty but also very confusing. I didn't really have a good grasp of the plot in the first volume but I wanted to give it one more try. I'm still confused but it looks like this is probably the end of the series so I guess at least it was nice to finish it. It seemed like a good core concept with different worlds based on different stories [I think], but the overall execution was pretty poor.
More interaction between the Old World and the Dream World - still mystifying
This second (and probably last) volume of this series continues Zelda’s story involving Frank and Todd as well as a vast assortment of strange creatures, all with different agendas. I can’t say that I really understood all that was going on but I enjoyed the language involved and what I got out of it. The artwork varied: some I liked, some less. It’s colourful and quite detailed. Reasonably enjoyable but not something I can easily recommend.
