Read this comic online a long time ago and it’s one off favorite comics of all time because of how much it has resonated with me. A sad but sweet story.
I remember seeing this on deviantart, a few years before. I thought it was cute and sad. I didn't remember who the author was.
Today, I was scrolling on Goodreads and found out about this (tbh, I was looking for short stories to get me pass my reading slump 😋) and decided to give it a go, not knowing I already read this. It was a nice, nostalgic moment.
this was the shortest graphic novel and one of the most touching and effective of them all. I wanted to check kay o'neills very first work as a self proclaimed fan and I have to say I would love to see them incorporate this concept into their current style! a nice reminder that the sweetest art can sometimes be the shortest.
This was so adorable. The art style, the narrative, the real-life aspect. We grow with her in such a short time, seeing her true wish, and then how it finally gets granted, even though it was only 7 pages. Amazing read
It was shirt and cute but it also have a really important message about loneliness and how the people find a way to feel better, because in a world where you feel invisible maybe you just need paper stars
I have loved this book since I was young after I got really into making paper stars (which I still do to this day) when I stumbled upon this and it comforted me so much and just thank you
