I'm from Louisiana. Currently trying to escape again ;) I love writing sweet romance stories with a bit of spice. I love to drive...with the music blasting and the bass thumping. I absolutely adore the Oregon coast. I like people but I'm shy...and then you get to know me and wish I'd shut up. If you think you've seen me on here under a different name, you have. I have a main page where I tried (not so successfully) to integrate all of my me's...and then there is my alter-ego who writes A LOT spicier. They're all me. I'm on my friends list, too. Confused? Loan sharks more likely, are supposed to fill readers kinda with disgust, due to nature of their job or trying to loan at exorbitant APRs . But as some wise men said son's ago that never judge the book by its cover.
I think I fell pray to the word loan shark/fish. I expected a twisted man as a glorified hero instead found a man with heart of gold who was sympathetic to others, people working for him, a gr0eat listener,problem solved ,should I keep going on. HE tried his best not to fall for the employee AKA OUR heroine (under his shelter ) and i

But later genuinely fell head over heels in love. Loved the characters and introduction of our hard working Cinderella heroine, creepy doctor, puzzling roommate and mad boss( heroine ex boss)

This is a well written story that draws you in emotionally Marco the hero isn't the nicest person around but for Penny he steps up.

Marco Bianchi runs a strip club and his a Loan shark he is everything that you would want to stay away from but Penny Stark needs money to pay for her mother;s operation so she has no choice but to deal with him. In her case he isn't the bogey man she expects he is attracted to her and will want more than money from her. Will he get want he wants and will she turn this bad man into the lover she wants and needs so giving them both a HEA.

This is an interesting book with strong characters in Penny and Marco. She's introduced to him when seeking financial help for her mothers surgery. He decides he wants more than monetary repayment from her and sets out to get it. The chemistry between them is strong and steamy and it was fun watching their relationship evolve and grow. The story moves quickly and smoothly and I enjoyed reading it.

A well written story with nice storyline and plot. It has strong characters who are well described and develops nicely through the story. They have a great chemistry. Sometimes Penny is a bit too naive and Marco too sweet but somehow along the way it suits the couple. It is a sweet and heartwarm story that has twists and emotional ups and downs.
A real emotional roller coaster.
It is engaging and captivating. Would have liked it to be longer to give it more depth.
Recommendable fun, sweet, steamy and enjoyable read.

This was a really interesting book and I really enjoyed it. When Penny is in desperate need of money so her mum can have surgery that will save her, Penny's friend introduces her to meet her loan shark boss Marco, Marco agrees to help her but wants more from her than just the money. This was a good read with a really good storyline and I was surprised at just how much fun it was there was plenty of chemistry between these two a great read I really liked it

I really wanted to like this as I normally love this author’s books, and I did like it, I just didn’t love it, the storyline was good, the characters likeable with a lovely ending, but the story just felt like it skimmed all the way through, I didn’t feel like it had the depth the author’s books normally feel, lots going on but not many getting into it details, but I’m still glad I read it 😊

I Highly Recommend this book for OVER 18 DUE TO CONTENT. This storyline is intense and emotional. I had a hard time putting this book down.
This is a MUST READ and it's fast paced. Penny Stark is trying to make ends meet and take care of her mom. When she has to get a large sum of money in order for her mom to survive her best friend Trixie tells her about her boss Marco who happens to be a loan shark.

An amazing romantic story! An entertaining and interesting read that is wonderfully written with intriguing characters. Amazing well-developed storyline; It is short, witty, very funny, and moves at a brisk pace. There are some ups and downs but Marco and Penny got their HEA. Great love story!
