ONE GOLDEN READ!!!
Wow! Ok guys, this is one totally kick-ass read. Ashlee totally nailed this bad boy. You have all of your action, drama, heartache, loss, betrayal and a hurt so deep it cuts down to your soul. I was hooked from the start and reeled in for the duration. I couldn't put this little jewel down. It pulls at your heart strings and you can't help but feel every last, but wretching emotion. The characters are well developed, complex and believable. Their personalities are strong with qualities and traits that play off one another brilliantly. The scenes are graphic and detailed it paints a remarkable backdrop that really makes the storyline pop. The twists and turns take you on a wild ride where suspense, heartbreak and drama reign. Ashlee did an excellentjob bringing this read to life flawlessly. Great job Ashlee, thanks for sharing this awesome read with us.

Ava was very jerky character, Scott lacked some logics here and there, but if you want a mindless reading with steamy scenes this might be for you. Otherwise feels a bit immature and amateur writing.
Plus I don't get the repeat of the random marriage theme in this book also. The first one already was absurd that a guy wants to marry a girl just to save her from another mans clutches, but another one? Like in real life this doesn't happen at all, because all the men are fleeing from the commitment like a plague.

Overall this was a good read. I will admit it was longer that it should have. However, it kept me interested. There was a lot going on. Ava and Scott had known each other before but they hadn't seen each other in 7 years. He thankfully saves her from marrying a complete jerk . After lots of ups and downs they finally get their HEA.

This one was painful. Juvenile writing with a very weak and insecure heroine. Chopping writing. And who gets to barge into a home and take back the daughter they gave up for adoption? Just one of many implausible details.

Ava and Scott have been friends for a long time. A graduation party finds them in deep discussion about going to medical school and moving forward in their lives. Scott lets his feelings show, and there is no fighting those feelings from Ava at all. But this particular night has lasting consequences.

A medical conference finds Scott and Ava meeting up again, their outcomes have changed and not all for the better. Scott is one of the top Orthopedic Surgeons, he loves what he does. When Ava enters the room, it comes as a blast that she is engaged to the creep of a doctor standing there with Scott. Ava has changed, she seems sad and withdrawn. Scott tries talking to her, but fiancé seems to feel making rude jokes about her is better instead.

They happen to be staying at the same hotel. There is Ava and her mother in the hallway, Ava is being berated by her mother. Her father died and it seems her mother went about getting her vanity a little too deep into debt. Scott finds out that Ava’s engagement it to pay off mommy dearest’s vanity bill. Ava is an doctor in internal medicine, but not thrilled about that either.

Scott tells Ava and Sabrina (Ava’s mother) that he will pay the bill, so Ava will be able to break the engagement to the creep and marry him. Mom’s debt is paid, the ring is given back to the creep, and now she is deciding to marry Scott. There is a misunderstanding though. Both Scott and Ava have discussed friendship, so in each other’s minds they are fake engaged to appease situations in their lives. The thing of this is Scott knows he loves Ava, he always has. Ava finds she loves Scott too, but she has a secret that may break them apart forever.

Scott and Ava face many obstacles in their way, but one moment they go from a bad misunderstanding to full on being together with all the feelings. All the pent up tensions they have are now being dealt with, in a very yummy way. But secrets are exposed, feelings get clouded, but they end up making it back together. Another surprise is who helps them bring the couple together even more, it is unexpected and actually makes you look at her in a different light.

There is never a dull moment for these two as well as more surprises to come for this forever after of theirs as well. They may have started as just friends, but they have moved into friends, lovers, spouses and family.

She Needs Him!

Ashlee Price has delivered us another must have read when we meet Ava and Scott. They were the best of friends [he the only son of billionaires] and they both want to go into medicine. So she becomes a doctor and he a surgeon.  They spend one night together without revealing their true feelings for each other. But they get on with their lives and don't see each other for 7 years - unless you count when she sees him being interviewed on tv.  But now he's back and he knows that he needs her and wants to help her. She's in an abusive relationship with a creep of a boyfriend that Scott wants to hurt badly and her mother tried to marry her off to pay off her own debts!!  But how does Ava feel for Scott now? Will she see him for the man that she loves who loves her so much and what about the secret?  Ashlee caught my attention at page one and kept it right to the very end.  I was so pleased that Scott was there for Ava - just wish he'd come back sooner. She didn't deserve the awful situation that she was in and getting this from two people, one being her own mother,- she didn't stand a chance.  A real page turner that you won't want to put down and it was so good that I know that I will be re-reading this in the future.  I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Most DEFINITELY RECOMMENDED

Ava and Scott grew up together and are best friends who are going to Med school. The night before Ava moves to England, her and Scott have a passionate night together. It isn't until seven years later that Ava returns home and ends up crossing paths with Scott again in a conference. From their re encounter, Scott starts to realize that something is going on with Ava's life and decides to help her. They both get engaged, in order to save Ava from marrying her nasty fiance, and secrets that Ava was trying to keep from her past catch up to her and she must tell the truth to Scott .

I loved this story! There were times when I wanted to yell at Ava to tell Scott the truth, but she eventually came to her senses. I loved how Scott treated Ava and how he cared for his family and supported Ava

i read this book as part of an arc program. This is the second chance romance between Ava and Scott. They were best friends until they went to different medical schools. The night before Ava left for London, Scott and Ava were saying goodbye when they slept together. Seven years later, they met again at a medical conference and Ava was engaged to Edgar. Edgar was a mean person and when he went to hit Ava, Scott stepped in and took her back to his hotel room to be safe. Ava's mother wanted her to marry Edgar so he would pay her debts and Scott said he would marry her instead. Ava always had feelings for Scott and Scott said she would be doing him a favor in marrying him to get his mother off his back about getting married. Scott said they were best friends and he wanted to be close again. Ava was keeping a secret from Scott and she knew if he found out, he would leave her. I liked this story and thought Scott always loved Ava but was scared to tell her. Scott wanted it to be real between them, but he knew he had to win Ava over. I think they were great together and i think they had great chemistry. Good one.

One Hot Doctor is so much more then a sexy romance it is a deep read in so many ways. Best friends at one time, Scott and Ava eventually drifted apart. Prior to college, they shared an uncontrollable passion that neither have forgotten. Now, after so many years apart, they meet up again and Scott immediately knows something is wrong. Can he help her? Will she let him in? What future do they have if Eva's ex isn't ready to give up? What of the secret Ava is keeping? I loved this compelling release.

I was beyond fortunate to have requested an advanced reader's copy of One Hot Doctor and I couldn't devour this fast enough. This is one impeccable book you will be as addicted to as I was. Ms. Ashlee Price is an Author that publishes top quality books for all of us romance junkies and I am 100% certain you will be a fan for life.

I received this book with the understanding that I could leave a voluntary and honest review.

In this book we meet Ava and Scott. Both are on their way to being doctors but both took different paths to get there. Now years later they meet the connection is still there for both of them but there is something else now. Ava is now engaged to a man who Scott doesn't think is good enough for her. Ava thinks that Scott hasn't changed at all but she knows she shouldn't be having feelings like this. Can they find a way to a HEA or will they fact that they have history be to much to overcome?

This is an amazing book. It does have its ups and downs that I really want to tell you about. However I don't want to ruin it for any other readers. I will say this book will have you hooked from the first word to the very end. I would highly recommend it to anyone and everyone.

Ava and Scott have been friends since they were kids Ava goes to London to continue her studies to be a doctor, Scott stayed behind to become a surgeon. They were both too scared to admit their feelings to each other so they moved on with their lives. 7 years later they catch up again and their feelings are just as strong for each other, Scott finds out that Ava is engaged to a horrible absusive Doctor at their hospital. Scott eventually gets her out of that situation and to protect her he offers a fake engagement but when did the fake engagement turn out to be real?. I loved this story it’s very emotional and I felt bad for Ava with her horrible controlling mother and also her fiancée no one deserves to be treated like that. A fantastic story a 5 plus ⭐️ read and I highly recommend this book it’s definitely well worth the read.

One Hot Doctor was an incredible read, Ashlee Price has given us an emotional read with drama, passion and love. The characters are very intriguing and likable, they just reel you in from the very beginning. This is a story with some surprises and plenty of twists and turns that make it hard to put this book down. Scott and Ava have an incredible connection and some great chemistry that you can feel coming off the pages. These two were best friends from elementary school till college when they were headed in different directions, now seven years later they come face to face which is a surprise, and there are plenty of more surprises as we get to know these wonderful characters. I absolutely enjoyed this book and I highly recommend it. Hope you will enjoy this story as much as I did. I voluntarily reviewed an advance reader copy of this book.

Can Scott and Ava go from friends to lovers?
I have read many books by Ashlee, as one of my favorite authors! Ava and Scott have a one night stand before Ava and Scott head off to London and Boston respectively to study medicine with the promise of staying in touch. Fast forward 7 years and Scott runs into Ava at a conference to see that she is engaged to a disrespecting doctor. Scott comes to Ava’s rescue by offering to marry her in name only. But their relationship improves and Scott supports Ava’s career change. But will Ava’s secret destroy their future? You have to read to find out and will thoroughly enjoy the story!

This book is chock full of mystery, suspense, romance, heartbreak and most importantly love. Ashlee Price did an amazing job with this novel; the characters that she created were so full of life and love for each other. The relationship that Ava and Scott have with each other was one that was primarily based on friendship, and through time and distance developed naturally into more romantic feelings for one another. This novel kept me reading from cover to cover without stop. It kept me up to 3:30am reading it, with work the next morning, because I could simply not put the book down.

What a beautiful story! I really enjoyed the book. Ava and Scott grew up together and were best friends. Ava left for school and kept a big secret from Scott. She still failed to let him know after all this time even though they found themselves engaged to be married. I can sympathize with Ava about her decision but at the same I have to agree with Scott that the decision should have come from both of them. If you want to know what I'm talking about, why are you still reading my review? You will not be disappointed.

The best part of this book is the cover - hes gorgeous, and fits Dylans description perfectly. I normally really enjoy Lulu Pratts work, which always gets a 4* at least, but I just can't give that to this novel. I am afraid its only a 3*. It has a great outline for a brilliant story, the contents undulated from good to flat and repeat. So Lulu. It needs more action, more emotion that you can feel was you read it. And don't let the villain give up so easily. We need feisty, dark and dangerous, even if the criminal is a local block head. I just didn't get caught up this time. Won't put me off reading more of her work though, as shes normally pretty good at story telling.

Great romance, lousy suspense/thriller

Once again, I have found a great romance. Unfortunately, that wasn't good enough for the writer. For some undefinable reason, it seems most every successful romance writer prefers writing Scooby Doo Mysteries....my hidden secret from the past...my ex is stalking me...whatever far-fetched nonsensical, usually completely unrealistic (murder, mayhem, mafia hitmen comes to mind) scenarios.
This turns out to be no exception. I got fed up with the goofiness, way before the writer did, and deleted it at the 50% point. Sadly, this is another wannabe mystery, that I would not recommend.

Fantastic characters, amazing storyline that kept me devouring the pages. Ava and Scott are childhood best friends and he has always taken care of her. Ava moved to London with her family. Scott is a renowned Orthopedic Surgeon and comes from wealth. The characters are relatable and the storyline grabs ahold until the very end. This has family deceit, blackmail, guilt and so much more. I would definitely recommend this book and read it in one sitting.

Ava and Scott were friends since childhood, yet life got in the way, and now 7 years later they meet again. Ava is now a doctor, and Scott is a surgeon, who is determined to draw her out of the shell she has become. This is a well writes story, which is heartbreaking, emotional, and with secrets which had me on tenterhooks throughout. I was totally captivated throughout, and look forward to reading more from this talented author.

I received this story from Booksprout and it was such a joy to read. Very heartbreaking, moving and emotional.
7 years is a long time to wish things had been so different but now doctor Ava Stuart can’t believe the love of her life Surgeon Scott Wyler is back. Only one problem , she is engaged to obnoxious surgeon Edgar. If ever a man was more devious, slimy and arrogant it’s him. What Ava doesn’t realise is Scott wants her back but will he still want her when he finds out her secret? A brilliant story of love, passion, secrets, betrayals, heartbreak and so much more. Loved it all.

Loved it

Ava and Scott are best friends in medical school. They have one night together before she leaves for London and that one night leads to Ava's secret. Fast forward seven years and Scott is now a hot shot orthopedic surgeon and Ava is engaged to an over bearing anesthesiologist. After Scott rescues her from the nightmarish engagement Ava struggles to find her way.

The characters are well developed and relatable. The story line flowed effortlessly and offered the right mixture of conflict, drama and romance.

Hot Doc

I enjoyed this book i think a few things were left hanging like it they were such close friends why didn't they know they had feelings for each other? Did they not date others in school? How exactly did her and her mom get hooked up with Edgar? What happened to people who basica!ly stole their daughter few other things but really good book, thought there would be more friction between ex gf and ava not them being besties almost, Doc just a really goody goody kinda guy ( boring). But I did enjoy it i just had nothing jump.out at me, sorry.

Amazing work

I we amazed how much I love this story. It get so real like I was reading someone's personal story which spent happen often to me. I even had to remind my self it as real. Especial when I as reading about the children books I found myself wanting to read their story. The only thing I found frustrating is how easily Ava was able to over coming things. I understand it was to move the story along more quickly. I think this book would have been great as a three book series one for each trail they over came, but in all i loved this story

This book was a fun best friends to lovers story with a twist. Ava and Scott grew up together and had one night together before Ava moved to London. Seven years later they have lost touch when they run into each other again. This story had depth to it and more going on than just the love story. It was well written for the most part, but I had to take off a star because at one point Scott’s mom slapped him and the slap was not only inappropriate but felt forced in the story. There was no reason for it and the book would have been better off without it.

Just a thought.

I love your books, but felt so sad when after she visited the first child she hoped was here and then saw the surgical scar and said she couldn't be hers and left. I kept thinking throughout the book, the results from the test Tony had sent in would come back positive and then that little girl would finally have had something good happen in her life. Because with a heart surgery scar, what were her chances of ever being adopted? Sorry but it was such a rough ending for the child, I couldn't seem to forget it. Still enjoyed the book.

It won't take you long to get drawn in emotionally into the story of Ava and Dr. Scott Wyler . Best friends growing up and lots of drama. A friends to lovers story that's filled with lots of drama, plenty of twists and surprises. Throw in some passion and chemistry that over the top. A well-written story with enchanting characters and an entertaining story. I read a reader copy via Booksprout and voluntarily chose to write a review.
