He thought getting a second chance at life was difficult, but resisting the spark he feels with her will test all of his strength.

Vi Harris comes with baggage most men can’t handle. A famous ex footballer for a father and four professional footballing brothers. Brothers she helped raise after their mother died.

Dating isn’t easy when the infamous Harris Brothers not only play defence on the pitch, but block most love
interests from getting too close to their sister.

Hayden Clarke isn’t the guy you take home to meet your parents. He’s brooding, troubled, and just survived the darkest days of his life. Which is why a distraction like Vi could cost him everything.

When Vi’s bright, cheeky smile and oversized dog crash into him without warning, he can’t help but get wrapped up in her. Despite his better judgement, he enlists Vi to help him with a special assignment that’s anything but romantic.

Through it all, she doesn’t see his flaws. She doesn’t see him as broken. She sees him as the man he’s been fighting his whole life to be.

But what happens when her strength becomes his weakness?

"I was afraid there was too much that time could not erase for me. (...) But when I hold you in my arms, time doesn’t even exist anymore."
Wow. Just wow. Amy Daws broke me with this one. Probably because I can relate to both main characters, and maybe also because this book didn't make me feel sad, but hopeful. Hopeful for the possibility of this kind of happiness extending to real life, outside the pages of a book, even if you're damaged.

"Tonight I just want to be a man who walks a gorgeous woman to her doorstep and kisses her senseless."
Vi is going down as one of my favorite heroines. She's strong, but that strength is not apparent. She feels unlovable because no one has ever gone to great lengths to have her, or to keep her. She's had no grand gestures, or that deep love we all look for. She raised her siblings after her mom's death, and she's only now realizing what she wants from life, while having to deal with the protectiveness of said siblings – and I love that she doesn't take their shit!

"The crinkles around Hayden’s eyes as he laughs are enchanting. Every individual line is an expression of his heart."
My heart broke for Hayden. After losing his sister a few years back, he spiraled, and ended up trying to kill himself. His brother's girlfriend saved his life, and he started trying to be better. He stopped drinking and smoking, and is seeing a therapist. However, he still sees himself as damaged beyond repair, and unlovable in his own way. I mean, how could anyone want him?

"I don’t think you’re damaged. I think you’re beautiful."
Vi and Hayden meet thanks to her dog, and they can't stop thinking about each other. When a charity event brings them together again, Vi learns of Hayden's past. Instead of running away from him, she wants him closer. She wants to be there for him. When his doctor suggests he tells someone about what happened in the days leading up to his suicide attempt, he decides to tell her. To trust her.

"Each simple moment with him feels like nothing and everything at the same time.
Opening up is not easy for Hayden, but Vi is there for him. She shows him time and again that there's nothing wrong with him, that he is more than the darkness that once threatened to overtake him. But it's hard for him to believe it, to believe her, or to believe there can be a 'them'. Because by now we all know these two are meant to be.

"You like to stamp your foot when you’re frustrated, like a bunny. And I find it sexy as fuck."
The nature of the characters makes this a slow burn story, and sex happens when it needs to happen. It's just right for both of them. Make no mistake, they're hot and their chemistry is spot on. I love that she stamps her foot when she's mad as much as I love that it turns him on. The small stuff that makes them perfect together.

"When living hurts this much, what kind of life is it?"
However, Hayden's past is not an easy one to overcome, and it seems that Vi will never break down his walls. She manages to get past one, only to find another one there. The things he says hurt her, because he wants to keep her away. The habits he's come up with as a coping mechanism hurt her too, and made me very emotional.

"The past few years have been riddled with lows for me. But the past six weeks, all of my highs have included you."
Hayden wishes he could undo the past without realizing that, without it, he would never have what he has now. Yes, it was hard, sad, and more than most people are able to handle, but it was what led him to this moment. He can't allow himself to be loved because he thinks that makes him weak, and may make him spiral again.

"It’s 11:11, Vi. And my final wish—my final request to the universe—is that I will save all my wishes for you. Every one of them. Belongs to you."
It takes strength to love with everything you have, and it takes strength to allow yourself to be loved. To open up, showing someone who you are, your scars (physical or otherwise), and knowing that person will still be there for you, regardless. That the things you think are ugly and dark may be someone's light and someone may love you for it.
It wasn't easy for Hayden and Vi to discover they can be even stronger together. But the strength they have comes from the inside, from the love they feel for one another.

Amazing book. I have tears in my eyes.

Please note: this book deals with suicide and depression. I think Amy dealt with it in the best possible way, especially since the book shows you that life has it downs, but it sometimes rewards you too. If you're not sure if you want to read it, reach out, and I'll gladly answer any questions.

Oh wow! This book hits me like a train. A mental health issue is the theme on this book. Safety warning: have suicide, depression aspect on it. Instead of sad story, Miss Daws weaves a story with a little bit of humor and fortune teller.

I do love Harris brothers. They all so adorable brave, alpha and sensitive at heart. Hayland is tough to swallow. His struggle strikes a cord with me especially his anxiety about 1111 number.

Vilma is a strong heroine. Her love for her brothers is endearing. I also love how Vilma strenght lifts Hayland to be strong. They both deserves HEA.

Overall Miss Daws slowly creeps up to my heart with her smart british romance.

4.5 **twin flames** STARS

“I want to know you, Vi. I want to know why you stamp your foot. And what exactly you love to cook. And why you never cared to play football. Who you’ve ever dated. Why you spent six hundred pounds on a keepsake box that you’re just going to give away.” He stops in front of me. “I want it all.”

There are no two ways about it. I simply love Amy Daws’ books. They are feel good reads that hit ...yes you guessed it, right in the feels, make me laugh, cry and then swoon from all the romance. I like escaping in this world and I wouldn’t have it any other way.

That One Moment is an incredibly beautiful, life affirming love story and the journey of Hayden's way back to life.

“Things between you and I are about to get very heavy, Vi,” I start, flicking my eyes back and forth between hers. “And before all of that happens…Before I drag you down the rabbit hole with me, I have something very serious I’d like to do.”

“What?” she croaks, her voice husky and trembling.

“Tonight I just want to be a man, who walks a gorgeous woman to her doorstep…and kisses her senseless.”

Hayden, oh my dear Hayden. Over the course of three books now my heart was broken for him. After the tragic death of his older sister years ago he was in a downward spiral. Holding himself responsible and drowning out his own life. It all culminated in a suicide attempt. Fortunately Leslie, his brother's girlfriend found him and saved his life. That One Moment depicts the aftermath of those events. It has been a while since Hayden was released from the hospital and is now in therapy trying to mend his old wounds.

His doctor suggests a 5 day countdown. Telling just one person what happened in those days leading up to his suicide attempt. And as luck would have it Vi quite literally stumbles into his life, together with her dog Bruce Wayne they upend his best laid plans and shake up his recovery.

Vi is not an unknown for fans of the series. Vilma Harris works together with Leslie for Nikon. I really enjoyed her as a character. Growing up with 5 football playing and very protective brother's she has learned to be tough a long time ago. She doesn't bullshit Hayden, but is there for him in any way she can.

Question is can the friendship be anything more than that?

“I’m terrified, Vi…of so much. But I don’t have the strength to walk away from you again. You make me weak.”

“Maybe with time I can make you strong.”

I have said this before, but Ms. Daws has a way with words. I honestly enjoy her writing immensely. She manages to be descriptive without boring you to death. I have never been to London, but she creates such a vivid picture in my head it is quite beautiful.

Add to that the very raw and honest story about depression, alcohol abuse, a suicide attempt and the aftermath. If that is a trigger for you, you might want to stay away, but to be perfectly honest the funny and sweet way outperforms the heart break. It is very well balanced and in my opinion discussed with care, insight and intelligence. As I said before, when it is all said and done, That One Moment is a life affirming book.

I have two little things that made this not a full 5 star read. I thought the story dragged a little in the second half. This is definitely a slow burn story, just FYI. And then there was one scene towards the end that jut was a little too cheesy for me. It happens and it is a purely personal feeling. Others I'm sure will love it. ;D

Now I'm really curious to see what the author comes up with next. I desperately need some books for Vi's brother's. I can only imagine the fun we will have. ;) Bring it on.

I have been dying to read this book since I read the Harris brothers series. Vi has just stuck out from the Challenge. The things so has done for her brothers is so good. It has put her back in life some what but she never complains about it she just get on with life. She has had her ups and downs with the boys/ men whatever you want to call them cause they are boys in some parts. They have more mood swings then Vi at time. It's not easy being around 4 footballers. But I do luv how protective they are of her. Yes it annoys her so much and when it comes to relationships things haven't gone well. But they can't help protecting her. In some ways she just wants to be independent and I can I understand that to. She doesn't need her brothers in her face every time she goes to do things but they are so used to get being there. It's a hard situation really and life only gets hard when Hayden Clarke comes into her life.

My heart went out to Hayden throughout this whole book. He has over come so much in the last year and is still fighting his demons now. Hayden has become a lil set in his ways and has it in head that this is how life should be even though everyone is telling him to move on and look forward to the future. Hayden just does think he can. This really kills me he is such a strong guy but soft at the same time. But one person that he does need is Vi Harris. Even though he fights his feelings for her from the start he knows she is what could make things a lil better for him.

Vi and Hayden go through so much in this book. My heartbreak for both of them. They both have there problems and are closed off in some way but whatever connection they have its strong and it's shows that they do need each other. But sometimes being scared doesn't make you see so clear.

I luvd this book so much and I couldn't put it down once I started it. Just life got in the way of reading it quicker. The characters are so good. I have to go back and find out what happened with some of the other characters from London Lovers series. They have me dying to know more. It was so good to get more from the Harris Brothers I really luvd there books so it was great getting more. I would highly recommend this series and this booking being added to it was just really good. The story, the character and the new cover to this book are so good. I know some people were probably a lil annoyed over it but I think it fits with the series so much better. I m just sad I'm at the end of this series now. If you haven't read it do you will fall in luv the Harris family.

I feel something in my body when I’m around you that I have never felt in all my life, Vi. I want to dive in with your and figure it out. I want us to be something.

Your forever is mine, Vi. Your forever belongs to me… whether you’re ready to accept it or not.

I’ve loved you for so many moments, and I don’t want to waste any more time not telling you.

My Review:

I love/hate Amy Daws. She is brilliant! Amy Daws writes enthralling, relevant, and steamy love stories with endearing and lively, yet deeply flawed characters. However, she makes me cry…. and I do NOT like to cry. I am no glutton for punishment, so it may seem ill-advised that I continue to allow her to wreck me… gut me… turn me inside out and upside down. I continue to chase her work like a rabid fangirl simply because I adore her addicting, oh so alluring, sparkling, and highly emotive storytelling. She has mad skills as it is a rare occurrence for this cold-hearted cougar to stop reading and blubber into her wine goblet - and I will even confess it was not just once… but three times! Sigh. The only criticism I can offer up for her latest work is there were very limited Frank sightings. Please, Ms. Daws, we need more Frank and Beans!

This fucking Whining bitch of a hero.
He ruined the story for me 😤

In a nutshell:
He tried to kill himself and his sister in-law saved him in the last minute. After that, he went to rehab because he also had an alcohol addiction.
So, basically he wasn't in a good place.

I got you.. 🥺

But,

He thought that it could be ok to self pitied himself while being an egoistic maniac. Whining he can't have a serious relationship because he have to focus on himself and the heroine is no good distraction.

NOT COOL MAN 😒

He had a bad ago trip.
He was an ass to the heroine.
His hot/cold tendencies got on my last nerves!
He had shit load of insecurities and he was weak.
He was so weak in my eyes.
Not because he went through so much. No. people who had a bad luck and stayed strong and true to themselves, giving everyone around them a fair chance while they receiving theirs are the strongest people in my eyes. You don't have to be ugly to someone around you just because you went through something. It's not their fault.

This motherfucker was playing games with the heroine because he didn't know what to do with himself so why not fucks somebody else life instead?

And the heroine? She gave him a chance again and again.
And SHE kinda chased HIM.

End of story for me.

This is Amy's best book to date. By FAR! She broke my mother fucking heart, made me cry big tears, small tears, happy tears, and downright heartbroken, achingly beautiful tears.
It's not all sad. Not by a long shot. It's beautiful, uplifting, and of course has Daws' signature humour cleverly woven throughout.
A true journey. One which I lived in and devoured.
Good Job, Dawsy!

Warning: there were indeed tears.

So the start of this book had me at a 4 star rating, but the middle was kind of a struggle to get through, bringing it down to 3. But the last part of the book- oh, that was a 5 for me :'). From the reunion to the scene between the family to the epilogue... it was amazing.
This book was heavier than I expected but it was so very heartwarming to see the support systems both of these characters had.
Vi was such a likeable character for me. She was caring, LOVING, funny and most of the time she stood up for herself. I respect that whenever Hayden pulled away she tried to get answers, and whenever her brothers tried to step in she reminded them that she could stand up for herself but I also appreciate that she admits when she does need them. I was a bit confused about her idea of being unlovable though. It didn't detract from the story too much, but I feel like it was just thrown in.
I really loved the Harris family in this book and I'm so happy they're getting their own books!
Oh and this book made me laugh a number of times!!! I hate that I'm not a highlighter at times like these because there are so many quotes I want to remember :(

“That One Moment” is a standalone novel said from dual POV, it is the beautiful story of forgiveness, acceptance and all about finding your soul mate in abyss of darkness.

Hayden Clarke is given a second chance at life after he brutally tried to take his own life a year ago. Following the death of Marisa in a horrific accident four years ago, the entire Clarke family was shattered, but Hayden was the one who took it hard. When everyone else seemed to resume back to their normal life, he still kept blaming himself for her death. In fact, that guilt consumed him so much that growing darkness became part of his life, which over the time turned him suicidal.

Now after a year of continuous therapy and overwhelming support of his family, Hayden sees his life in a new light. He wants to build a life for himself without any guilt for which he has to put himself before others. However, his survivor’s guilt and deeply rooted fear pushes anyone who wants to help him that is until Vilma becomes his ‘countdown challenge’, a therapy suggested by his doctor to talk about his most vulnerable feelings to a complete stranger.

Vilma ‘Vi’ Harris is the only daughter of a football legend, sweet fun loving person. She wants to have a normal life away from her overbearing brothers who on every given opportunity poke their nose in her life. She bumps into Hayden during a club opening since then, she can’t seem to stop daydreaming about him. Vi does help him in the countdown challenge, but the question is will this arrangement help him get over his fears and embrace his reality or will Vi make him weak and push him back to the depth of his desolation?

First and foremost, I would like to give a big shout out to Amy (The author)!! When she saw that I gave two stars to her previous book, ‘Not The One’ she in all honesty wanted me to leave a review just to know what didn’t work out for me. And that’s the only reason I agreed to read this book, I mean who wouldn’t love an author who thrives on a negative review. Surprisingly I liked this one better. It had a good storyline which was rich in details and emotions. What I loved the most is the slow character development and budding romance, which makes you connect with the characters easily and live every moment of their life.

The reason I had to knock off few stars was that; the story didn’t amaze me like I expected. Like how my co-blogger keeps saying ‘I’m a tough nut to crack’ maybe that’s why I was not easily pleased. Other than that, I felt the large portion in middle felt flat and dragged a bit.

But the best part of this story for me is Hayden- my beautiful broken man, his suffocating pain and intoxicating guilt! Too much to bear!! His character was well written and felt real. Overall, the story is subtle, light, funny and cheesy at times, if you are looking for feel-good kind of book this is definitely one to pick!

5+++++ Stars!!

“I forgot about the pain. I forgot about the cause. I forgot about everything leading up to this one incredibly profound moment. This one moment that I chose was permanent. In that one moment….I had finally erased my life forever.”

“Hayden Clarke has just entrusted me with the deepest, darkest part of his soul. In that briefest flicker of time ticking away on the watch around his wrist, I do exactly what my soul is screaming in agony for me to do. What my heart is pounding beneath my chest in anticipation for. I kiss him. God do I kiss him.”

Some say that your life is defined by moments. By good moments and by bad moments. And for Hayden, his life has been comprised of many challenging and life altering moments. Ever since I finished Not The One, I have been dying. I mean dying to get my hands on Hayden’s story. His character just captivated and consumed me, begging me to find out more about this beautifully complicated man. And I gotta tell you, Hayden’s story does not disappoint. His story took my expectations and threw them out of the window. And what I was left with was an incredibly moving and powerful story….

That One Moment is one of those stories that just grabs you instantly and will leave you utterly captivated. This story is not easy. In fact, it has some very dark and intense moments. But, I have to say, Amy Daws did an amazing and honest job in telling Hayden’s story. She answered all my questions and made me fall even more in love with this complicated man. There were so many moments where my heart just ached for everything that Hayden went through. It was truly incredible to see him rise up from rock bottom and become a stronger man. And I couldn’t have asked for a better match for Hayden than what he found in Vi. Vi was far from perfect as she had her own demons to battle, but the connection that these two shared was unlike any other. She knew that Hayden had a dark and complicated past, but she didn’t let that scare her away. However, what I really loved was the depth of Vi’s feelings for Hayden. Her feelings were genuine and she saw something in him that the other’s didn’t see. She saw the man and not the scars….And with lines like these: “She looks at me as if my scars allow her to love me even more.” & “Your forever is mine, Vi. Your forever belongs to me…whether you’re ready to accept it or not.”, it was impossible to not fall in love with these characters.

That One Moment is told from dual points of view and is incredibly well written. I loved everything about this story; from start to finish. It had the perfect mix of romance and angst. The angst….OMG, the angst….There were so many beautiful, gut-wrenching, heartbreaking moments. I could just feel my heart being tugged at and I loved every moment of it. That One Moment took me on such an incredible journey, that I’m still having a hard time trying to put all my thoughts into words that make sense. So, this is what I will leave you with. That One Moment will give you all the feels. It will make you laugh. It will make you cry. It will frustrate the hell out of you. It will break your heart. It will make you swoon—Oh, how it will make you swoon. But, most of all, you will fall in love. You will fall in love with these beautiful broken characters and I can only hope that their story will grab your heart, just as it did mine. This is definitely one of my favorite reads of 2016.

**I've already read this book because I am one of Amy's proofers**
Alright loves, so I'm gonna jump right to it. This book, particularly Hayden, violently ripped my soul out and shoved it back in inside out. This book is extremely raw and real in a way that so many books are not. I have to warn you though, this book was a trigger for me and it may be for some of you, so please be prepared, but also understand that this book is worth the read.
This book jumps between Hayden and Vi's POV every chapter, which is really nice since you get to see what each of them is feeling. This really helps when it comes to Hayden. When I first met Hayden in Leslie and Theo's story I was drawn to him, and later in Reyna and Liam's book I fell in love with him because I saw him as being just as broken as me, which made me connect to him in a way that so rarely happens between readers and characters. In this book I really got to see Hayden and it made me realize that Hayden is the other half of my broken soul, that he is the male version of me.
This story is so much more than just a beautiful love story, this is a story of a broken man who is trying to find himself and his strength. This is the story of a woman who thinks she isn't worth love and protects those she loves with a fierceness that would scare a mama bear. This is the story over overcoming your past and looking to the future. This is a story about finding the light when you're smothering in the dark. This book is an inspiration to me and I hope it will be an inspiration to all of you, no matter what you've been through. This is the book that will make you clutch your heart from the pain, laugh because the characters are batty, cry because your heart just got broken, smile because the love you're reading is so pure, and then cry again because you can't imagine anything more beautiful or romantic.
In this book you're going to see the old gang, but also a whole host of new ones to fall in love with. You're going to find yourself awwing over baby Marisa, having hot flashes over Vi's brothers, and cringing at the things Frank and Leslie say (book juice machine is now a thing, be prepared). You're going to see new sides of old characters and find that family is so much more than blood. This book will make you discover that salvation comes in so many forms.
I was upset for this book coming out because it meant giving up Hayden forever, but through this story I have found hope, love and my own salvation. If you want a raw story that will give you an in depth look at exactly what depression looks like, will show you love in the form of blood and relationships, and true happiness then you need to pick up this book.
Hayden saved me, give him the chance to save you too.

WOW, absolutely phenomenal 5star read and what an emotional roller coaster, LOVED LOVED LOVED Hayden and Vi's story. It was so beautifully written and filled with so much emotion, oh the feels this book gave me, oi and the tears. Amy Daws knocked it out of the park with this book, it truly is the best book in the series and I am so hoping it's not the end of it, those hunky overprotective footballers need some good women to fall in love with and would love to see each of their stories. Listen up bookies! That One Moment is a book you do NOT want to miss. I was sucked in from the poetic and haunting prologue and it held on like a vice grip until the beautiful Epilogue!

First...Hayden Hayden Hayden...I'm not sure I can do this beautiful man justice, but I shall try. His story was one of survival when life throws the worst kind of pain it can at you. It was a VERY emotional rollercoaster so full of heartache, angst, courage and fight, anger and pain, love and family, loss...hope. As gut wrenching as it was, it was also so beautiful and soulful.

The author takes us on this incredible and REAL journey of coming back from something horrific and life altering and teaches us that even in the throws of self doubt and blame you are worthy and loved.

The main characters are thrown together and have this amazing and unique connection that neither of them thought could be. I felt every emotion you could possibly feel and these character are ones that will stick with me forever. Grab your tissues and blanket...and maybe wine and buckle up for an outstanding ride!

I met Amy Daws at the RT Convention earlier this year, and she was so sweet and nice, I knew I had to try one of her books soon. I picked up a signed copy of Not The One (London Lovers, #4) - but its so pretty I haven't wanted to crack the spine! So I was stoked when I saw this review opportunity for That One Moment (London Lovers #5). I have yet to read the earlier books of the London Lovers series, and I know the characters crossover quite a bit. However, Daws included enough backstory in this one to keep you from feeling lost if you are starting in the middle, like me.

Let me start out by saying that the narration of this book was absolutely fantastic. Amy chose to do a true dual narration - the first I have heard - and I absolutely loved it. Rather than switching off each chapter like many duets, these narrators swapped off according to the gender of who was speaking/thinking. It's definitely spoiled me for future audiobooks. The narrators, Charlotte Cole and Will Watt, also did a fabulous job at bringing the story to life. They conveyed the appropriate emotion, no matter how trivial or heart-wrenching.

So this was really Hayden's story for me, and he is a tortured hero in the extreme. Currently in therapy after a failed suicide attempt, he has been challenged by his therapist to tell his story to someone outside his family. I know Hayden's story as been building but, like I said above, I did fine coming in for the "end" where he has met this amazing girl and really makes progress with his mental health. I was a big cheerleader for Hayden. His trials and tribulations were well-written and realistic, and I was really drawn into the emotion of his story. If I had to cast someone in the role as Hayden, I think I would choose Sam Claflin. That is who I pictured as I read.

Vi Harris is the only female in a family of footballers and protective males. I loved her dad and brothers, even when they were being overbearing and obnoxious. Obviously this family has been hurting since the death of Vi's mom when she was only 8 years old. As a result, Vi is both a mother figure and a younger sister, but a cherished female to be protected at all costs. As you can imagine, this abundance of testosterone hanging around has wreaked havoc on Vi's dating life. When Vi agrees to hear Hayden's story, I knew things were not going to be easy for them. However I found myself getting mad at Vi for her impatience with Hayden - she really didn't seem to get where he was coming from at times. Vi also had her own issues - she felt she was unlovable for some reason, but I didn't quite understand where she was coming from with this issue. So maybe my connection with Hayden was blinding me to Vi's POV.

While I like my heroes broken and broody... I have to say that I don't like them suicidal. So this wasn't a story where I was able to envision myself as one of the characters. However, that did not detract from the story in this instance. I did feel connected to Hayden and I was emotionally involved in the outcome of his story. While I wasn't quite as invested in the romance... I wanted Hayden to succeed and felt like Vi was the perfect person to help battle his demons. Daws really did a fabulous job at drawing the reader in and detailing these serious issues. Not only did you see the impact on Hayden himself - but you also felt it in his interactions with Vi, Leslie, Reyna and Hayden's family. I will definitely be reading more from this author in the future.

I received a copy of this audiobook at no cost from the author in exchange for an honest review. 4 stars / 3 flames. Full review posted at Bambi Unbridled.

5 glowing stars for this book!! Like I have said in my other reviews, I sort of read these out of order. I have not read any of the other London Lover's books and I don't know that I am. Not because I don't think they will be brilliant, just that I may have to wait for a while. (I am really just waiting on Gareth and Booker, maybe Vaughn too :}) But about this book. I had no idea what to expect from these two. I had read in the other books about what was happening in their lives then and some of what happened in the past. To read it all, about Hayden's past and what lead up to him meeting Vi. It was heart breaking. I just don't know how else to put it. I am not going to give spoilers, but Lordy that boy about broke my heart. He was so much more than just his past, but it took a lot to get him to see that.

Poor Vi, almost did me in to. How could she not see how lovable she was? I cannot understand with all those footballer, bruiser brothers of hers that she could not see that she was their universe!! Her heart was just so soft sometimes and you cannot help but love the fact that she feels completely invisible.

I loved the chemistry that those two had, it was just crazy. I loved everything about this book. The highs, the lows and all the in-betweens. I love that you see other characters that are involved in their lives and how they all intertwine! There is nothing about this book that was not fabulous.

As a reader I sometimes get the sinking feeling right before a story turns on you and it is like a train wreck, you don't want to look, but there really is no choice. I had that feeling in spades with this book. I don't know how Ms. Daws puts all these feels and emotions out there without being tortured. I mean seriously, I would die!!

I will continue my journey with the Harris brothers and all the other Lovers in London.

Well done!!!!

****I received a copy this book in exchange for an honest review. Thank you****

That One Moment is the second book in the Lost in London Series. This is a standalone but I personally loved the first book, Not The One, and I would recommend reading it just because it’s excellent. It is told from Hayden and Vi’s POV. Several familiar faces from her London Lovers Series grace the pages, especially Theo and Leslie. The story starts up about few weeks after the last chapter of Not the One ends.

I think the way that Daws has Hayden tell his story is bloody brilliant. It shows his courage and his determination to stay well in a unique way I have not read yet. The story is refreshing and fun as it tugs at your heart.

I love Hayden Clarke. He’s charming, fun and playful. He’s the best uncle! At one moment, I thought my ovaries were going to explode with girlie glee. He’s also still hurting. He’s fighting himself and his past. He has made so much progress with the help of his family and Leslie. He’s s put up these walls and is scared anything could send him back into the dark.

Vilma, Vi, Harris is genuine and motherly. While she has had sadness in her past, she has a very loving family. She has 4 sexy huge football (soccer) playing brothers are very over protective of her. Vi and her dog Bruce run straight into Hayden and into his life. Could she possibly break through Hayden’s walls?

The one reason I loved this story so much is because their relationship naturally. Vi and Hayden’s relationship evolves naturally over time. They are adorable together. It’s one step forward with 2 steps back. They have to work at their HEA. I think it makes this story so much sweeter. 5 shining stars.

It's 11:11...make a wish.

"Every moment in life is a ripple. Every day has twenty-four hours. That's one thousand, four hundred forty different chances per day that can affect the course of your life."

Hayden is trapped in this ripple effect. His sisters death has transformed his life and he is slowly spiraling out of control until he becomes "that one" the family worries about, "that one" everyone walks on egg shells around, "that one" that seems to have it all on the outside, but is unraveling on the inside.

Hayden needs "that one moment" to pull his out of his darkness. That moment is Vi Harris. She comes storming into his life in Not The One leaving us all with chills knowing he needed his story to be told! Don't panic, you don't have to read 'Not The One' to know how Hayden came to be, but I HIGHLY suggest you do because the Reyna/Hayden dynamic plays a role in this story. This will clue you in to why people claim Hayden as #myhayden! He is beautifully tragic. He is heartbreaking, emotional and dribbling in angst. You will go through a roller coaster of feelings. You will want hug him, then slap him, shake him or even choke him, but then you will want to grab him and kiss him.

Vi is a great counterpart to what Hayden needs in his life and her brothers add a great addition of sibling love. Anyone that has a sibling (especially a brother) will giggle at some of their antics and I do hope these Harris brothers pop up in future stories...because I am sure they have very interesting tales to tell.

I just knew this one would not disappoint.

Vi has four very protective professional football player brothers and a giant dog. She's unlucky in love and because of that she wonders why no man sticks around. One night she meets Hayden who has issues of his own and she thinks that the two of them have a connection, but Hayden becomes cold to her.
One night she is at a Suicide Survivor's event and is shocked to find that Hayden is a suicide survivor himself having tried to take his life a year ago. The two of them talk at the event and Hayden decides to tell Vi his story about the days before the attempted suicide. During their talks they share intimate details with one another, but Hayden is convinced that Vi can do better than him and walks away from her.
At a club he gets jealous when another man shows interest and the two of them decide that they want to work on being together. Hayden can't let go of the past and still wishes to change it every night at 11:11 pm. This bothers Vi who just wants Hayden to look to a future with her and when he breaks her heart, she decides to give up on him just as he decides he wants to fight for her.
I loved Hayden and Vi. This book was heartbreaking, funny, and passionate. I loved that Hayden was able to move past hating himself and started liking himself. I'm glad that Vi found someone to fight for her and that loves her completely. I still love all Vi's brothers and I will miss reading about all the Harris family adventures and extended family.

I was wary of this book but I wanted to read Hayden's story. I rooted for him so hard in the previous book in the series and felt like he got shafted by Reyna.
Well, the writer shafted him here and reading this book was a mistake. The characterisation of Hayden was a casualty of yet another writer who doesn't know thing one about properly executing a male perspective. I think she actually neutered him because he was about as masculine as a pair of pink lace knickers.
Hayden could have been unforgettable in the hands of someone who knew what to do with him. All the 11:11 nonsense and his extreme attachment to his sister-in-law were hard to stomach, but his internal dialogue and emotional outbursts were downright painful

Too many characters, a pack of irritating, interfering footballer brothers with no respect for boundaries and a whiny, woe-is-me heroine rounded out this shower of shite. Thanks, but I will pass on any further works by Ms. Daws

I’ve been reading the Harris brothers books, and was curious about Hayden and Vi’s story. Unfortunately, this book felt flat and I didn’t connect with either character. Maybe it has more to do with my personal experience on the subject, but Hayden annoyed me. He constantly rakes his hands through his hair and something that was never really addressed was how his trauma and his actions affected others. Everybody was constantly comforting him and telling him how strong he was, meanwhile I didn’t believe it because I didn’t really see it in his POV. He was such a self absorbed asshat, and I didn’t understand why Vi liked him. And even though there was a touch of angst, I felt like I needed more. I never felt like Vi’s feelings were validated because it was really all about Hayden and his pain. This book took me a while to get through, hoping Gareth’s story is better.

*5 Stars*

I finally, finally got to Vi and Haydens book! As I started reading Amy with the Harris Brothers series when Challenge was first released, I have continuously been hearing about Vi and Haydens book and how I need to go back and read the London Lovers series. If you have been following my posts, you will already know that over the last week or so, I have been on a London Lovers binge, finally getting around to reading all these books.

Vi and Hayden are probably one of my favourite couples in this series, because their book was so easy for me to devour. I think a lot of that stems from the fact that I already loved them from the Harris Brothers series.

Whilst I know a lot of readers love Hayden so, and yes I did too, I think for me, Vi was my more anchoring and favourite character in this book. I don't want to take away from Hayden or his serious and intense journey, because lets face it, thats what it is, and his struggles are real. And I don't look at that lightly, not at all.

But for me, getting to know Vi more, and getting the boys in this story a fair bit as well, well, it honestly just feels like coming home to me. And that probably stems from the fact that I started with the boys series rather than this one. Vi is fierce and strong and her brothers are damn adorable as we already know, but at the same time she has her own hang ups, which for me were quite easy to relate to.

I loved everything about this story, getting to know Hayden and Vi both, and understand Hayden a lot more. This book certainly transformed my opinion of him, because I was not a fan after the last couple of books. I loved how he and Vi just work together, and the little details they share with each other. And who can forget our glimpses of the rest of the LL cast? Especially Lezbo, Theo and Marisa. Oh, and the end of the book? Perfect! Loved it. Another great one from Amy.

When I started reading Amy's books, I began with Challenge and continued on the get to the last Harris brother, but all and in between we get Vi and glimpses of her and Hayden's relationship. I was so excited when I found out that she had a book, I picked it up immediately and read all about Vi and Hayden.

Well let me tell you their story did not disappoint, it was emotional, witty, charming and so addictive. And, even better this new version gives us MORE!! Who wouldn't want more of these two characters? Amy keeps getting better and better with her words, and I'm so attached to this whole family I just can't let them go. If she writes more, I'll be reading it.

You get to see Hayden's struggle and him essentially coming back to life. Vi couldn't be a better person to help him. Their love is so emotional and tender but yet so raw too.

Hayden finds himself with Vi, and their connection is unstoppable. I freaking love Vi, she is tough and hard on the outside but a sweet, caring soul. Growing up with all men how could not be?

I loved every minute of it!!
