How to Teach Self-Instruction of Job Skills

Rate this book
One of the biggest problems confronting those entering independent employment is learning to solve the myriad of small problems that come their way everyday. They often depend too much on trainers or job coaches to solve their problems and manage their behaviors. This book presents a tested method for students to maintain good work performance while they become less dependent on job coaches. This manual shows how to teach self-instruction in a variety of work settings, even where students are interacting with customers. It includes four complete training scripts; forms for monitoring performance; and special instruction for peers teaching peers, for group instruction, and for teaching people with limited verbal skills.
