Wow, Solomon Vance is a real crazy scientist!

Having quotes from all the most murderous crazy men all over your business, doesn't make for comfortable working conditions for the staff, I imagine unless, like Vance, they, too, have managed to destroy every speck of humanity from their bodies!

What he is planning is pure horror, and I was doubtful that the new crew of Ghost Squadron could beat him because, as is often the case with villains, without that hint of empathy, there's nothing he won't contemplate, in order to have his plan put to work!

But, as is his wont, Hatch is doing his amazing best, to make sure that the crew have some special tools to help them in their next mission - a mission that is urgently needed, if they are to rescue the original crew of the Ghost Squadron.

And, while he does this, he also continues to help those people that Vance's monster downloaded, to come back, and try to adjust to their new reality.

But, between the monster, clever Zombies, and Lewis' old partner doing her best to kill them all, the Squadron has far more on their plate than they are comfortable with.

Hatch, in the meantime, is having to cope with his own ex-partner, who he had rescued from the download and, as he isn't comfortable doing emotions, his mind isn't quite on the job as it should be!

These books just keep getting better. We are given so much to think about while reading them, that it feels like a smorgasbord of the best plots, characters, and scenarios, that we could possibly choose.

I loved the original Ghost Squadron series - I've loved everything I've read by Sarah Noffke - but this new series is even better, somehow, and I'm loving what's happening with the whole crew!

To be honest with you, I've been enjoying this series so much, that I couldn't stop reading each book as I got to it, so I've had to go back to each one, to remind me what happened where, to write these reviews. Lol

Book three finished on a wonderful high note for me - which is probably why I just kept on reading - so I'll leave you now, to go on to the final book in the series (I want to cry because of this), which is: Obliteration!

Another winner!

Feel like I'm enjoying the best of both worlds lately. Have been listening to book 3 of the original Ghost Squadron books on Audible when I'm not reading this series. Because of health problems, I have not been able to read at times along with running behind on my reading. But I feel like I've discovered the awesome experience of having a salty snack with a sweet one! Listening to the retelling of one of my favorite series I've read almost like on the back ground as I devoured this bite of awesomeness! Both just add to the enjoyment! This is my favorite of this series so far. Pip has a body and it's even zanier than before! So many great twists in this book, you won't want to miss out! In case you haven't read already, I'm not going to mention them but just say that Sarah has really hot a home run with this book! I'm, for the first time, glad I'm behind on my reading! Why? Because now I can drive in, immediately and head first, into the next book. Keep up the good work Sarah! But you might not want to send Michael any more live animals. He obviously forgot to lable the box as a live animal so can't blame the carrier for tapping up what was thought to be a damaged container.

Wonderful, but...

Yes, Ms Noffke knocked it out of the park again. Yes, there were amazing and wonderful character arcs full of individual, personal growth. Yes, I'm waiting with baited breath for the next book to drop.
But... Ms Noffke feel into the Tolkien Trap. There were three (i think) places that felt like proper endings before the ACTUAL proper ending. Don't get me wrong, the actual ending was necessary and gave us a deeper look into two of the characters and I'm not sure how, or if, the previous pseudo-endings could be changed; but it felt a little too sloppy compared to what Ms Noffke has gotten me used to. It wasn't even bothersome enough to drop a star, so it's probably just my personal preference.

Twisted evil minds

Sarah has once again woven an intriguing tale with action, hilarity, panache, and so many cultural references. Using quotes from earthly dictators is genius.

The threads from earlier stories are being woven together, new friends are being made, and new threads for future events are being added. A beautiful tapestry, indeed.

As an Aussie, and since I made the suggestion, may I say the Aussie references are the best? Damn! I can't say what was put in, just that there's a little flavour from Down Under. 😉

So jump on board and read Determination! It is definitely a great read.

PS: Sarah, when will the next book be released???

Loving Pip

This series is really good. I enjoy the characters in it, especially Pip and Vito. There is a lot of action in the book and the crew is starting to really mesh together. I also like the way some of the original crew are being found in each book. Waiting patiently for the next book.

WOW, the twists and turns in the plot are surely captivating. This is a book that begs to be read in one sitting. It is wonderful to see how much growth Lewis and Bailey are going through as they try to find the Ghost Squadron crew. Absolutely loving the character of DJ and look forward to how she develops her powers more. Bring on the next book!!

Always Good

In book 3 Pip finally gets a body. It's going to be great to see Julianne's reaction. I hope we don't have to wait too long. The adventures our characters are involved in are as always great fun. There are a lot of surprises so read this series and enjoy the trip.

Fun times

Well I see that Bailey and company are finding themselves in interesting times. I do find that she has had a good run without a partner always trying to show her up.

Bailey, Lewis and DJ strikes again

The new "crew" for Ricky Bobby are back as they continue their search for the "Monstre" that took many peoples very lives. Dr. Hatch meets an"old flame" that isn't happy to see him. The crew though are still looking for the monster.
