Lucy Bowman grew up in a village in Cheshire, where she spent her time having adventures outdoors or reading about them in books. She completed a degree in American Studies and joined Usborne to write books on all kinds of topics, from Antarctica to space to games and puzzles.

I love seashore and all the life in it

Seashore is a level 1 reader so it is an excellent non-fiction science book for young readers. I have also placed it in our science center in the preschool classroom for younger children to explore the diverse pictures of the Seashore with both animal and plant life. It often gives teachers a chance to expand knowledge and ask open ended questions that takes a child to discover how to apply what they know and form new ideas. The illustrations are excellent and this is a valuable non-fiction book for young readers.
