This was an excellent book! I absolutely adore Aoi - she's very relatable and likable.

I have so much to say about this book!

Things I loved:
- Aoi and 大旦那様's dynamic - it's funny and cute and checking all of my boxes rn!
- Aoi and 大旦那様's date in the rain! Him eating the bento! When he saved her after she was kidnapped! Also at Tanabata!! So much goodness!
- Also, she's definitely starting to seriously consider marrying him. Like, they're not getting married anytime soon, but she's actually looking at him romantically and all that! So my shipper heart is happy :)
- The fun side characters - Ginji, お涼, Kasuga, Ataksuki, Ritsuko, 白夜、and the writer guy were all great
- The continued world-building: in this book, we learn more about Aoi's powers, her living longer due to eating the food in this world + her own spirital power going into the food/being in her inherently + her grandfather being so powerful (so she's live a super long time, I'm sure)
- Byakuya is hilarious and scary so of course I love him and the 管子猫

Things I thought were interesting:
- The blond 座敷童 and Ginji's mysterious past with the other inn
- The people behind Aoi's kidnapping who suggested it to the daruma/helped them with it
- The continuously mysterious ayakashi who helped Aoi as a child - was it 大旦那様? Was it Ginji? Was it some random person we haven't met yet? All signs point to #1 or #2, haha. Anyway, we got some clues in this volume, but it's hard to say for sure who it was. I look forward to finding out more about the mask, the south it came from, and all of that.
- Pretty much everything Ritsuko-san said about the past brides, the 羽衣 she gave Aoi, and just her as a person - I love her! She's a nice maternal figure for Aoi since her mom was so awful.
- Also, it was hinted at a couple of times - what exactly do the gates signify? Besides being portals between the human and ayakashi worlds anyway? Intriguing.
- Also, there are more worlds beside the above two, and I hope we visit them at some point!

Things I didn't like:
- Pretty much nothing? Aoi was a bit stupid to go after the kid and get kidnapped, but also it was a good thing to do? So idk on that. Also, the whole mystery around who saved her as a kid is getting a little old, so I hope it gets resolved in the next volume, because I'd like concrete answers. Still, it's nice to know that Aoi suspects something.

Overall, this was a wonderful book that I am very happy to have read. It was even stronger than the (very good) first book, and I greatly look forward to continuing the series! 5 stars.

物語と世界は嫌いじゃないが、やはり１作目と同様、文章に関しては気になる（気に入らない）点が多い。
どうしても不自然に感じる"私語り"。第三者視点に感じる文章も混ざっているし、主人公が独り言が多いし…どうしても「三人称視点で書かれていた文章を無理やりに一人称に書き直されたみたい」と感じてしまう。
また、主人公が現代の二十歳の女子大生のはずなのに、「美味しいわね」だの「思ったわ」だの「あるかしら」だの…歯がゆい。不自然。祖父に育たられてといってもよ…
その上、登場人物の多くは「年下に見える美青年の姿」とい設定は…微妙に気持ち悪い。何百年生きてきた妖怪はなんせ未成年の姿で登場しなければいけない？その理由を考えるどうしても嫌な感じしかしない。せめて大旦那様は大人でよかったけど…

第二集還是很好看。這集對食物的描寫還是很多，對於我這樣的貪吃鬼來說，食物的比例占很大的小說往往比其他小說更具魅力。比方說，童書裡面我特別喜歡《祕密花園》的原因就是因為食物描寫很多。雖然應該也有不少人覺得寫太細了，可是我個人覺得就是要寫的細才會讓只讀文字的讀者感受到美味，畢竟只寫好吃好吃，靠想像力的美味是很困難的。

然後這集的葵還是一樣表現出非常像爺爺很現實的地方，這些地方真的很有趣。除了食物的描寫之外，稍微有點粉紅色跟開始表現出寵溺感的大老闆，老實說超美味的。小說真的比動畫好看一百倍！而且面對人家的稱讚跟好意都非常不擅長的葵的傲嬌反應也超可愛的。

還有跟葵一起來到隱世的手鞠河童真的超級可愛的！為什麼這個孩子的台詞就算翻成中文也感覺超可愛的呢？是說這集開始曉跟阿涼都變成食堂的好夥伴了，這種沒事來蹭飯的地方其實也滿可愛的。

是說這集還有提到，其實爺爺因為在隱世裡非常有名，所以其實隱世有超多小說的主角是以爺爺當原型寫成的，而且書裡跟大老闆可能是世敵的樣子，也太好笑了www
