I am an historian. I used to be a fencer. I will never have the talent to write fiction, but when I read it, I look at the details. I pay attention to terminology. If you ever think including weaponry and sword fights in a book or article -- read this fine book first! David Blixt knows and is passionate about edged weapons. You will learn about the evolution of the sword, its parts and its use. All details that are indispensable as you write the great European novel. I cannot recommend this highly enough. Thank you David!
