Faithful Surrender

Rate this book
Natasha has to make a decision, one which will change the course of her life. Her past is threatening to overwhelm her and her ex-husband’s knowledge of the truth.

What will she do when the truth unfolds?

As far as Matthew Bradford is concerned, Natasha Walker is his. He hates to admit it to himself, but he still wants her, although she betrayed him. He feels ashamed, but he can’t help his feelings. He loves her. She is his wife, despite the divorce he paid a hefty sum to expedite.

He convinces Natasha to move back in with him, and what transpires is more than Matthew could have ever anticipated. But are they really together? Old scars and painful wounds make the transition challenging, when circumstances find Matthew torn between doing the Christian thing in honouring his ex-wife, and breaking his fiancée’s heart.

Natasha finds herself entirely out of her depth, with the threat of secrets from her past and future being exposed. Her heart now laid bare, it is not what she planned, and there is no escaping the turmoil that ensues.

But it isn’t too long after, when Natasha’s secret is revealed, that Matthew is confronted with emotions that surpass anything he has ever had to deal with before, and he begins to question whether he can give her the love she needs.

Moreover, can Natasha, now scarred, hurt, and resentful, find it within herself to have the faith to surrender?

Wow!
What an emotional journey! I can't recall the last time I bawled (not merely cried or sobbed) like such a baby. This is what it means to live under God's grace and just trying to rely on his mercies while bumbling along life trying to figure out our purpose in life. All the while being human. That's what this book summed up: what is it is like being a Christian while being human. A quite difficult, often painful and frustrating but oh so rewarding journey when we give up n what we believe to be 'right' and instead trust in His plans and directions for us.

This book cemented what was to me, a new writer, to explore her other series. Definitely in my reread pile.

Faithful Surrender by Dionne Grace - A highly recommended read

Dionne Grace smashes it again! Faithful Surrender is beautifully and sensitively written, and has given me much comfort. I have had a turbulent and sad childhood, I have received a lot of healing from reading this book.

God bless you Miss Grace I have found your stories a massive comfort. Faithfully Again was an outstanding read and I could not wait for Faithful Surrender. Natasha has tried to get on with her life, living in a far from comfortable flat. Matthew fighting his conscience and his dreams from the Lord showing him that he needs to do the right thing.

This book has brought out so many emotions in me both tears and laughter. Melinda, Matthew’s clingy fiancée has given me many laughs 100% for determination, trying to hold onto your man! Even though he has made a massive mistake I feel love for him. And Natasha is a deeply damaged lady whose childhood crippled her with heartache and much sadness, but the Lord has brought them through the darkness and given them the most precious gift in the world, a beautiful child.

They work through their problems to happiness. I highly recommend this fantastic book. I certainly couldn’t put it down.

I received this book as an arc and I’m giving an honest and unbiased review.

This is the second book in the Faith Series, the continuation and resolution of Matthew Bradford & Natasha Walker marriage. After their divorce becomes final, because of false assumptions, fear, lies and an attempted rape disguise as an affair. Now sharing the same house again, due to Natasha's difficult pregnancy it is a home of bitterness and mistrust until the truth comes to light. This story shows what will happen will you Forgive, Let Go & Let God Have His Way--His Blessings & Gifts will bring lasting Joy and Light to darkness. It did for Matthew & Natasha and baby Kayla.
Matthew & Natasha have an unbreakable bond and intense passion(oh my!) Who can break it? Nobody --The Opportunist, Melinda and Paul the snake did not have a chance.
What is the story with Matthew's brother Micah and his ex-girlfriend Leanna, who has a two year old boy?
And who is the attractive mysterious woman at the wedding reception who piqued Matthew's brother Shaun interest?

This was an enjoyable and thought provoking book. An excellent read!

Good storyline

The Faith Series is my first read by this author. While I certainly appreciated the lessons here, I found the books to be drawn out, belaboring Natasha's issues, the couple's lack of communication and the obvious fact that Natasha and Matthew loved each other and were true soul mates. I became frustrated with the characters, wanting them to seek marital counseling, which surely should have addressed by their pastor, given they were Christians. They loved each other too much to allow their marriage to hang in the balance mainly due to failure to communicate. It was obvious that they were going to get back together but it seemed their issues weren't resolved despite all the apologizing.

What will Natasha do when the truth unfolds?

Book 2 of The Faith series finds Natasha vulnerable, scarred, hurt and resentful. And Matthew discovering some home truths. Their faith is tested, but they discover that even through the rough and challenging times, God is always there.

The ultimate question being - Will the love that had always been so powerful and intense between them, be enough to confront their fears and overcome the challenges that lay ahead?

Find out in the conclusion to this heartfelt emotional story of love between two headstrong determined souls who through circumstances lost their focus, for a moment.

Natasha and Matthew

I’ve been waiting for this book to come out as I really enjoyed the first book and don’t like cliffhangers, and to find out how it was going to end between Natasha and Matthew. I found Matthew was a week man and should have tried a lot harder with Natasha, they both should have communicated and trusted in their love a lot more. I did enjoy reading this book and would recommend it to read.

You need to read book 1 of the series, this is not a standalone.
A in a marriage that labours, and disintegrates under a lack of communication. Matthew and Natasha are now divorced, but their love for one another still exists. An emotionally rich story that demonstrates through grace, forgiveness, love and learning to hear one another a relationship can be rebuilt. A reclamation of true love between made for an enjoyable read.

Faithful surrender

Over the last two years I have become a massive fan of this author, Faithful Surrender was the hot topic of our book club! Totally absorbed me, I loved it. The conclusion of Matthew and Natasha’s story, this really hit the spot for me. Quite simply one of the best books I have ever read- it’s definitely a must read!

Very emotional conclusion to Faithfully Again. Matthew moves Natasha back to his house when she needs bed rest with her pregnancy. Both Matthew and Natasha are still suffering over her supposed betrayal. They will have to listen to God, truly communicate and forgive one another to regain God's blessings in their marriage. This was an excellent story that I could not put down.

This book will have you hoping Matthew and Natasha can reconcile after the cruel way he ejected her from their house and refused to listen to her. Now he is trying to win her back. Natasha has a lot of baggage from her childhood to overcome and not ready to forgive Matthew. This book will keep you in suspense until the end. I recommend this book.

Great story!

After reading the first four books of the series, "The Vision of Love" I enjoyed the author's writing. I believe a skillful and entertaining author. However, this series has dampened my excitement a little. The lessons are inspirational but, over dramatic and repeated moments. I found it difficult to finish. The repetition takes away from superior writing✍🏾

Amazing!!

It took us awhile to get there but we got our HEA for Matthew and Natasha… I think they endured just as much turmoil as in book 1 but I’m excited for new beginnings. Definitely want to know if Micah and Shaun will find love too and can’t wait for what’s next

Good story

About forgiveness and healing. It would have been great if it was combined into a single book instead of a series.
