Ivy's new boss is sexy, Scottish…and comes with an expiration date.

When Ivy reluctantly takes on a new part-time job, it’s a means to an end. Doing this favor for her pain-in-the-neck roommate means Ivy can have her apartment to herself again much sooner. The last thing she expects is for Hugh—the hot Scot who just happens to be her new boss—to ask her out on a date. And then another. And another.

It’s not easy balancing two jobs, maintaining friendships, and dealing with family drama, all while her secret dreams of owning a bookstore take a back burner. But when Ivy is with Hugh, all of that fades away. There’s something about him that makes her want to let her guard down and open up, which would be fine if Hugh wasn’t likely returning to Scotland in a matter of weeks.

Can Ivy learn to live in the moment and have a little fun, even if it means setting herself up for heartache later?

ONLY YOU is a sweet and steamy standalone contemporary romance about taking chances, unexpected friendships, and holding on to the things—and people—that matter most.

Marie Landry lives and writes in a cozy apartment in Ontario, Canada, surrounded by books and Funko Pops. An avid reader from a young age, she loves getting lost in characters’ worlds, whether they’re of her own making or someone else’s. She particularly loves stories with as much of an emphasis on self-discovery and friendship as on romance...but don’t leave out the romance!

When not doing bookish things, you can often find her taking pictures, cooking, scrolling Instagram (find her at @marielandry.author), daydreaming about frolicking through the Scottish Highlands, or listening to the same music she's loved since the '90s. (🇫🇷 ⤵️)🎄Christmas came early this year🎄with this lovely ARC that I received from the author in exchange for an honest review.

💭Haven’t we all dreamed about 🎅🏻Santa when we were little, thinking of him as an old man with a fat belly and a white beard, giving us lovely presents... Well in Santa’s village, Santa is rather a young attractive man and he’s more of a “ladies” dream.
.🎅🏻
📍He’s NOT a tattooed badass hero: he’s mature, gentle and honest... and he’s also a hot Scot❗️
🎄
What I first loved about this book is its COVER! How realistic it looks ... two ordinary people looking lovingly at each other, happy and content to be together.
🎄
📖 Ivy and Hugh feel attracted to each other the moment they meet, and Hugh is honest about his feelings but he cannot promise her anything because his annual contract might end and he might have to go back to Scotland.
.
They decide to live day by day, and so their story begins, a journey involving 🔺friendship🔺family 🔺career 🔺taking chances 🔺pursuing dreams ... and 🔺LOVE

✒️Written in a natural way, without unnecessary drama, with positive messages, especially listening to our heart and holding onto the people who really matter to us.
.🎄
➖The only drawback❓ I wanted some chapters from Hugh’s POV because I really loved and respected him! So I wanted to know him more...
.🎄
🗓Release date: November 13th.

. ✨Cozy up with a cup of hot chocolate and lose yourself in Hugh and Ivy’s world, a cute love story that takes place in Santa’s village🎅🏻!
✨Such an enchanting and dreamy environment✨
.

I was given an ARC by the author in exchange for an honest review.

First, let me just say that I rarely laugh out loud when reading books, but I did with this one, and often! Ivy is absolutely adorable, and her character is so well fleshed out and so human, that I instantly felt like I could be friends with her! In fact, all of the characters are written so beautifully that the reader gets pulled right into this world that Marie Landry creates. And speaking of worlds.....Santa's Village and a bookstore? Really? Two of my favorite things in one book almost made me cry! I want to work at Santa's Village and I want to work in a bookstore!! And while we're at it, I want to meet and fall in love with a "Hot Scot"! (Sorry, hubs... still love you, I swear) ;)

But seriously, the writing just flows so effortlessly, that you will have a hard time pulling yourself away from this book and back into the real world!

When you do, and you've finished this book, you'll thank me. Because you'll feel completely filled up with this sweet read, which is absolutely perfect for this time of year!! 5 stars - only because I couldn't give it more!❤

*Received an advanced copy from the author in exchange for an honest review.

Going into this I was a little hestitant because I’ve never read a holiday book before (except a YA one when I was a teenage and my lord, was that ever bad). Holiday romances have the stereotype, to me at least, of being way too cheesy. Don’t get me wrong, cheesy can be good, but we all have our limits and with the holidays it can go overboard real quick. I am happy to report that this book was the perfect amount of holiday romance goodness

My one small issue with the characters is that they felt a little under developed. I wanted to learn more about Ivy and Hugh. Especially Hugh. All he had going for him was that he was a hot, rich Scot with a very charitable and generous heart. It would have been nice to know more than what any non-spoiler synopsis could tell you.

The other characters that made an appearance throughout the story were decent. They were basically there to offer their guidance and advice when it was required. Except Celia. I loved her and Ivy’s storyline throughout the book.

I liked the writing. The descriptions of Santa’s Village were exactly what I would imagine any Christmas amusement park to be. It made me wish there was one like that where I live and definitely helped me get into the holiday spirit.

Like any Christmas movie, Only You had the same kind of layout. It was very much based solely on the romance, the holiday spirit, and everything working out perfectly. This was such a happy book in terms of everything that happened. Even the things that were supposed to be sad didn’t feel all that sad to me.

Overall, I enjoyed the book. It was more or less what I expected of a holiday romance, and if you’re looking for a quick read for the upcoming holiday season, then I would suggest picking up this one.

This was a cute and saucy read! Only You by Marie Landry is perfect for the upcoming holidays. It keeps you nice and warm with all the romance going on. I really enjoyed this book. Ivy was a great character with a very big heart. Then we have our Hot Scot, Hugh. These two had a lot of chemistry. There were a few twists and turns. Some characters ..ahem Celia.. lol were not favorable. But that is okay. If you are looking for a great fall/winter read, this one may be it for you!

what i liked most about only you was that it was more than just two people meeting and falling in love with a couple of obstacles in the way before they say the three magic words “i love you”. even though ivy loves what she’s doing, she has been feeling unmotivated and bored with her work. however, between finding another job and losing the salary her current job brings her, she’d rather stay. next, ivy’s relationship with celia had always been hostile. even though they are cousins, their interactions with each other at the beginning were full of snark remarks. most of them from celia’s side. at the same time, since her best friend was promoted and found a new beau, ivy had been feeling a little left out. however, she understands that these things happens and people change according to changes in life.

i liked how marie landry balanced these issues out alongside with developing a romantic relationship between ivy and hugh. ivy and hugh were cute and swoony. hot scottish man and a sexy yet adorable woman? what a pair. hugh’s a perfect gentleman, and i can understand why ivy couldn’t resist him.

this would be a nice cozy read since it’s set around christimas time. the characters spent a lot of their time in a christmas village full of festive cheer so you might want to pick it up during winter.

Review

Only you is an amazing, happy and a feel good book by Marie Landry. Only you is the story of an independent girl Ivy Sima, who has all her shit together but whereas on the other hand she finds it very difficult to cop up with the recent changes in her life. And that’s when she meets this extremely drool-worthy Hot Scot, Hugh Mackinnon who happens to be her new boss at her part-time job.

The story revolves around Ivy, her friends and her everyday life. The first thing that’s very akin with this book is the way author has characterized Ivy, Marie didn’t characterize Ivy to be someone very perfect or sassy who knows how to respond or behave or say the right thing or make a massive entry. Marie Landry had made Ivy’s character as realistic as possible by giving her certain clumsy flaws and quirks. Even the tiny little details of her personality made her more real, relatable and understandable.

So there were this bunch of girls in this book who played the supportive character roles in the book and everyone of them was good and lovable in their own way. First of all, Bridget, the best-friend of Ivy, I loved her so much and the way the girls support each other was really exciting. And the relationship that Ivy shared with Bridget’s family and especially with Bridget’s mother Marla was one of a kind. And the sweet Meredith and bookish Piper extended their supporting shoulders through every single way possible. Celia and Ivy’s relationship was kind of snarky and brittle but the way it developed was something peculiar and surprising. And I totally loved reading about them.

So, here comes the most anticipated character of the book, the male lead, Hugh. Uffffff!! Obviously this Hot Scot will make anybody fall head over heel in love with him. The character description of Hugh was ultimately exceptional. Marie had described him in a way that his image wouldn’t leave your mind anytime soon. The picture was very vivid and nothing short of perfection. As soon as Hugh makes his entrance, the readers will be captivated by his powerful Scottish aura and it will make the readers yearn for his appearance more and more. No matter however long he makes his appearance, no amount of presence will be enough for the readers to take him in. You simply can’t have enough of Hugh. Period!

The plot was pretty straightforward and direct without being intricate. But what made the book really entertaining and amazing was the scenarios and situations that Ivy encounters in her life. The total experience gained from Ivy’s life was very interesting and worth the read. The dialogues in the book was really nice, it will make you smile, laugh, blush and what not ? I read many dialogues in this book more than twice or thrice simply to experience the effect these words had on me.

The Christmas aura was heavily charged in the atmosphere of this book but it’s not totally a Christmas book. Christmas, plays a very significant and major part in this book. The author had effectively brought the happy, festive and magical energy of Christmas successfully into the book. This energy will make the characters in the book as well as the readers reading it more positive and vibrant. This vibe will pave way for many happy and good possibilities in the book.

The setting of the book was narrated beautifully that the readers will almost feel like virtually being there in the location. The book was quite touchy but it was mostly happy and filled with laughter. Marie Landry had been very forgiving and she didn’t make the readers undergo any emotional turmoil or longing which is definitely a good thing. But now that the author went easy on us, the emotional fool within us will yearn for the author to play with the protagonist’s emotions. Lol! Am I being sadistic ?

And there was this adorable midnight black cat which reminded me of my best-friend’s cat. Though I am not a cat person, they way the author talked about this cat will entice anyone into liking it. And this cat has a very interesting name which I will not divulge here, obviously you will have to read the book to know it.

My Views

On the whole, it was one good happy read which will make you believe in taking chances in life and at the same times it shows the importance of friendship. And there was this bookshop in this book which I loved so much, everything that revolves around this bookshop was very enchanting. Like an added bonus Ivy and Hugh are Book nerds and the way they talk about books and bookish stuffs was just wow and that’s why I loved this book and both of them a little extra.

I really loved this book and I certainly loved all the characters in this book, they were distinct and extremely good. I came to know there are two other books Mistletoe Kiss and Maybe you which revolves around the life of two of the support characters from Only you. I simply cannot wait to read those books too. I’m immediately adding it to my TBR list.

My rating for this book would be 3.9 out of 5 stars

⭐⭐⭐⭐
Rating: 4 out of 5.
I would recommend this book to all the chicklit, rom-com, feel-good book lovers. You will enjoy it. However stressed or sad you are, this is that kind of a book which will lift up your mood in no time. This book will be best suited to be read during holidays, now that everyone is working from home or at home due to lock-down, this book would be the perfect read for you to ease up and you will definitely feel immensely happy reading it.

Book Suggester

So I should really thank Author Jaimie Admans for letting me know about this book. It was the way in which she excitedly spoke about Hugh and this book made me want to read this book so very badly. If you don’t know what I’m talking about Jaimie Admans is one of my favorite authors and with whom I’m virtually friends with through our twitter chats. During one of our Author Interview Sessions we were talking about Book Boyfriends and she told about Hugh fascinatingly. Jaimie Admans gave me a very worthy lovable Book Boyfriend through Dimitri from her book The Little Bookshop of love stories and how can I not read about her Book Boyfriend Hugh ?

Now that I have read this book, Only you, and I have also fallen in love with Hugh! You guys would’ve figured that out by now!! Jaimie and I have happily decided to share Hugh 😀 Isn’t it amazing ? And Thank you Marie for giving us Hugh. And I hope you guys will love Hugh as much as Jaimie and I love him!!

Happy Reading Folk!!!

This was my first book by this author, and I really enjoyed it!

Ivy is having a rough time lately. She's feeling stagnated in her marketing job, and her best friend's promotion at that same job, and her bestie's new boyfriend, have caused their time together to be less. Also, her "cousin", a family friend and her current roommate, is driving her insane, since she can't seem to keep a job, and has a snarky remark about EVERYTHING. Ivy isn't sure what she's going to do, but she feels like something needs to change soon or she'll lose it. Then, her roommate, Celia, drags her into her latest job hunt, and she has no choice but to go along for the ride, if she ever wants her apartment to herself again. But, working as an elf in a Christmas village amusement park?!

Hugh is a sexy Scotsman, and he plays Santa at the Christmas village, along with owning the place. He is worried that he won't get the permits he needs from the city to make the Christmas village into a year-round amusement park, and then he'll have to go back to Scotland. But, he likes Ivy a lot, so he pursues her anyway. They both decide to take things as they come, and not get too attached, just in case he has to leave. Famous last words, that prove not so easy to follow. Also, how can he leave if he feels like he does about her?

Hugh and Ivy's chemistry was fun and sexy, and their connection was palpable from the moment they met. I loved their banter, and Hugh's sexy Santa smirk always made me smile. I loved watching them get to know each other, and try to fight their strong feelings for each other along the way. They approached their dating by not labeling anything, but that of course didn't stop their feelings from growing each day by leaps and bounds.

I loved Ivy's relationship with her best friend Bridget, and with Bridget's mother, as well. They really were like family and I loved their strong connection. Celia, Ivy's roommate was a piece of work, but I enjoyed her journey, and their relationship too. There were several other great side characters as well, and I enjoyed getting to know them, and seeing all the antics of the Christmas village staff. Apparently there is a novella about Bridget and her boyfriend getting together, and I've added that to my tbr pile!

While this was a little tamer than my usual reads (but still sexy!), I really enjoyed Hugh and Ivy's journey. Several moments in the book had me tearing up, and I found myself identifying strongly with Ivy along the way. I enjoyed this sweet story and I'll look forward to more from this author.

I received Only You by Marie Landry from the author herself and her team in exchange for an honest review! This was a really cute, funny and uplifting romance story with some Christmas cheer sprinkled in. Need a good heartwarming story for the holidays? This one's for you.
*
This story is all from Ivy's point of view. I generally liked her character and found her entertaining. We have a mutual love of books and reading so that's a plus. I also appreciated that Landry mixed her personality with a good measure of doubts and confidences. There was a good balance of knowing herself but also opening herself up to new people and experiences.
*
The romance was a slow burn. Sometimes I like these and sometimes I don't, it all comes down to the execution and I think Marie did a pretty good job of building up tension and releasing at the right moment. It was fairly satisfying ;)
*
This is a romance book focusing on...well, the romance but I also really loved all the friendships that blossomed or continued to grow throughout this story. There could have been potential for some catty jealous moments between the girls but I really liked that the story promoted healthy female friendships so this was really refreshing!

The story also touches on the importance of a career that is challenging and fulfilling but also something you're happy to go to. I'm a firm believer in working a job that you enjoy so this really hit home for me and I was glad this aspect was included and was really happy with how things turned out for Ivy even if it was just a little too perfect but that's okay with me!
*
Can we please get a story on Celia? She's the snarky yet quirky roommate that Ivy was forced upon her by her family. I enjoyed her as a side character in this story and how she derailed Ivy's whole life. Wasn't what happened to Ivy really because of Celia though? I hope to see more of her in the future!
*
If you love a good heartwarming romance with a touch of erotica that also focuses on empowering female friendships and the importance of a fulfilling career than this is definitely for you! I really enjoyed this story and it left me with a really good feeling when I was done. For those left wanting more, Marie Landry has also written a short story on Ivy's best friend Bridget and David that is set before Only You called Mistletoe Kiss which I will most certainly be picking up!

A sweet romance to get you in the mood for Christmas and make your heart melt. Ivy lives her life trying to find her place in the world without her parents. Her roommate is her cousin and her days are spent wondering why she ever said yes in the first place. With her best friend in a relationship she feels alone and wanting the same thing. After she accepts her cousins deal of working in Santa’s Village her life starts to change and brighten up. There she meets Hugh is the owner and Santa. Their attraction is intense, sweet and undeniable. The more they hang out the more it gets harder for them to fight their attraction. Hugh doesn’t live in America full time, so she shocked when their attraction takes them to places unknown. They take on a tenuous stance of no labels that could leave them brokenhearted and alone.

Ivy and Hugh are both a crossroads in their lives just trying to find their niche. When they meet, they find things about themselves that they held back on for so long. It was like they needed to find one another during this wonderful time of the year to see their own potential. I love that Ivy is a fighter but also so vulnerable on the inside. Everyone around her doesn’t see her but Hugh can read her like a book. Then Hugh is fighting to get his dreams to become a reality and never planned on meeting Ivy. We all do about how plans can change and that makes you life even better sometimes. The story is a sweet and romantic with it being a Christmas theme it makes me love it more. The author gives you something to read during this holiday season while your bundle up in a warm blanket.

Only You was absolutely delightful! I have to admit, I had no idea it was a holiday-themed romance until I started reading it. But you know what? It was exactly what I needed in my life. For the last couple weeks, I’ve been trying to get in the mood for the holidays but I’ve been resistant for some reason. The holiday spirit Only You inspired was very real. Now I want to indulge in all the Christmas things.

Is it normal to want to be best friends with a book character? Because I totally want Ivy to be my new BFF. She was spunky and relatable. I felt like I totally “got” her. Is it ok to say I was a little worried about Hugh in the beginning? I was afraid he was going to turn out to be some jerky playboy, but I couldn’t have been more wrong. This hot Scot was 100% swoony. Ivy and Hugh had amazing chemistry and I couldn’t get enough of it. They gave me ALL the heart eyes.

I loved the romance, but I also flat-out adored the focus on friendships in this book. In fact, I bought Mistletoe Kiss after finishing Only You because I wanted more of this world. I also really wanted to go back and get Bridget and David’s story. I hope there’s more to come from these characters… especially Celia. I wasn’t sure I would end up liking her, but I really did. I’d love to see her get her own HEA.

Only You was charming, swoony and sexier than I expected! My first Marie Landry book was an absolute success. I want to devour her backlist. Books like this are why I love romance as much as I do. If you’re looking for some Christmasy swoons, look no further. This book should be at the top of your list.

I received a complimentary copy of this book for review consideration. This does not affect my opinion of the book or the content of my review.

I'm a fan of Marie and have read several of her other books, so when the opportunity came up to read Only You I didn't hesitate.

Ivy lives alone and has a full time job which she enjoys, but now she has her cousin Celia, coming to stay while she gets herself sorted with a job and somewhere to stay. Ivy isn't impressed with the new arrangements, her cousin and family aren't the most likeable people, and Ivy sees this more as a duty than actually wanting it. Pretty soon Ivy gets frustrated with Celia and demands she find herself a job and her own place to stay, as soon as possible. When Celia eventually finds herself a job, Ivy isn't expecting the catch that come with it, and soon finds herself juggling her full time job, as well as her new part time job, as an elf, in Santa's Village.

Ivy was a character who I instantly liked, she is not only likeable but also realistic. Her family life isn't picture perfect, her love life is non-existent, and her job keeps her super busy. With her cousin coming along things don't get much better for her immediately, and I liked seeing the squabbles, the annoying feelings towards Celia, it felt like a normal family with normal family problems.

I enjoyed the progression of Only You, it didn't feel rushed or hurried along to reach a certain point, the development of the characters and the story felt natural. I loved the idea of Santa's village and it sounds like the perfect place to work...especially if it has a little bit of snow, real or not. I liked how friendly the staff where and how they welcomed both Ivy and Celia with open arms.

Only You was a book that didn't take long to read (just a while to get the review written) and like the authors previous books, this is another easy one to fall into. Overall I really enjoyed the plot and the characters, the Christmas themed setting just ties this altogether with a little bow.

Only You was a very heart-warming, contemporary romance read. A nice book to curl up with as the temperatures go down and the holidays start to creep upon us for sure. Ivy is currently in an okay job but is stable and somewhat happy about her life, except for the distraction of her roommate who keeps getting fired from each and every job. She tries to help Celia the best she can, but it's hard when you're basically mothering a younger woman down on luck.

The holiday season is fast approaching in Only You and Celia finds a job working at Christmas village. Snow, Elves, Santa, twinkle lights and hot cocoa...the works. However Celia only somehow gets Ivy hired working at thee Christmas village too...as an elf. Annoyed at first but wanting to help support her friend, Ivy starts working at the Christmas village and finds out that she actually enjoy it. Meanwhile she's trying to ignore the sudden interest in her fellow co-worker who plays Santa; however, he isn't just a co-worker or Santa, he's the boss of the Christmas village. Hugh and Ivy start to hang out and get to know each other, with each passing day getting closer. However just like Christmas, nothing can last forever and Ivy isn't sure if she can keep her sexy, Scottish boss.

I really enjoyed Only You, but I did struggle a bit with it for a few reasons. One, while I enjoy contemporary romance and slice of life romance books, I honestly felt like the first half of the book was SO slow. So slow. While the story took awhile to get into it was good, but just so slow at first and I really, really struggled with that. My other issue and I honestly cannot believe I am writing this right now, was that I feel like there wasn't enough intimate moments between Ivy and Hugh. I'm reading a romance book, I want romance and a lot of it!

Besides that Only You was a great curl up on a quiet day kind of read, perfect for the time of year and Landry shows great promise as a romance author.

When Ivy agrees to work as a part-time elf at Santa's Village in order to help her cousin and roommate get a better job, she has no idea that the owner and Santa there is a hot Scot. A hot Scot that she'll fall headlong for. Also a hot Scot, who unfortunately, is not in the US permanently. Can Ivy open up her life to Hugh, knowing there's every chance she'll get her heart crushed when he goes back to Scotland?

Only You is a sweet, sexy little holiday read. Hugh and Ivy are adorable together, and pretty great individually, too. I wish all Santas were like Hugh!

Only You was a sweet contempoary romance with a dash of Christmas.

I really enjoyed Marie's writing and being in our protagonist Ivys head. Ivy was such a relatable character she was funny, and sweet and just Ivy. Only You deals with themes of friendship and being at a point in your life when friendships, relationships, life is at a point of change and I really related to it. The romance was sweet and real and I really enjoyed the slow burn and realistic pace of the relationship.

I highly recommend you check out Only You

>This book was super cute and fun to read. This book had me laughing alot and going what's next. Ivy is so fun loving and so easy going it was hard seeing her cousin take advantage of that but at the same time its good to see her get a back bone and finally stand up for herself and realize all the things she really wants not just float by. Y'all its fun seeing Ivy come out of her shell and its also fun seeing Hugh lets loose some also. This book was super sweet and fun.

I seriously loved every second of this amazing book. Ivy and Hugh were adorable from the very start. My love for these two characters knows no bounds. I loved watching them fall. And I loved that this wasn't your typical boss/employee book either.

I loved Hugh. He was smart, sophisticated, and compassionate. Not your typical boss book boyfriend at all. I think that was so refreshing for me. And Ivy, she kept me laughing. I love a book like this. The story was captivating and the characters far exceeded my expectations.

Please check out this great book. I promise you will not be disappointed.

I really enjoyed this book. This was my first book by Marie Landry that I've read and I can't wait to read more.

Ivy is a woman who is dealing with a lot. She has a roommate that she can't really stand, and she has a full-time job that she's not really in love with anymore. Her roommate kinda tricks her into getting this part-time job at a Christmas Village, and she does it willingly more or less because she thinks it will help get her roommate out on her own quicker. Here is where she meets Hugh, her boss, who is a hot Scot, and they just kind of hit it off quickly. Unfortunately, Hugh may not be around long term, and Ivy has to think if that's something she's willing to overlook for the time being.

I love the struggles that Ivy has to go through in this book, but I love how it all ended up. I enjoyed reading this story, and I can't wait to read the next one.

This is a well written book with likable and realistic characters in Ivy and Hugh. Their chemistry is off the charts hot and it was fun to watch their relationship evolve and grow. The supporting characters help to bring the story to life. The author brings drama,a bit of mystery and tons of humor and love in this sweet story and I enjoyed reading.

I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book. All opinions in this review are my own and freely given.

The brilliant thing with this story is the normalcy of it. No over the top characters, no crazy impossible situation. Ok it’s a little bit on the naive side but, it still a pleasure to read it

Ivy Sima regrets agreeing to let the snarky Celia rent the spare room in her apartment. The snarky Celia gets fired from every job, is constantly bitching about something and eats her food. So when Celia gets fired again, nobody will hire her, except for holiday theme park Santa's Village ... on the condition that Celia can recruit at least one part-time elf. Ivy succumbs to Celia's emotional blackmail to work part-time at Santa's village, where she meets Hugh MacKinnon, the hot Scot. Ivy and Hugh start dating but Hugh goes back to Scotland when Santa's Village is closed until next winter. Is this the end for Ivy and Hugh?

What an enjoyable book! Hugh and Ivy were such likeable characters. I would love to be friends with them. The Christmas Village setting make it a wonderful and festive read leading up to the holiday season. Read it curled up under a blanket with some hot chocolate and you've got the perfect afternoon.

It's a very sweet romance but just a heads up that things do get steamy. Bow-chicka-bow-wow. ;-)

I received an advance copy of this book in exchange for my honest opinion.

It's no secret that I adore everything Marie Landry writes, but this one went beyond expectations. Ivy's story was so much more than a romance, even though it was an ah-mazing romance. The journey she takes throughout the book brings about all sorts of emotions and feels. You empathize with her as well as root for her from beginning to end. And don't get me started on Hugh. I might either salivate or swoon. It's a tough call. He's my new book boyfriend, but I'm sure Marie already has dibs.

Only You is a beautifully written contemporary romance that will hook you from the start and continue to amaze you until the end. Marie Landry's storytelling ability will have you begging for more once you reach the last page.
