"Times have changed, but the world has not."

Such a true statement, and a wonderful synopsis of this fantastic book. The author takes the reader back in time to various cities where the gospel was preached during New Testament times. Along with a great geography and cultural lesson, the author "exposes" the various sins of those cities and uses them to make applications to the world today. Each chapter ends with five thought-provoking questions. The format is perfect. Each chapter is a fairly quick read, but they are packed with information and statements that promote self-reflection. This book is perfect for any Bible study group or class, as well as for individual use.
