Amy Sumida is the Internationally Acclaimed author of the Award-Winning Godhunter Series, the fantasy paranormal Twilight Court Series, the Beyond the Godhunter Series, the music-oriented paranormal Spellsinger Series, the superhero Spectra Series, and several short stories. Her books have been translated into several languages, have won numerous awards, and are bestsellers. She believes in empowering women through her writing as well as providing everyone with a great escape from reality. Her stories are full of strong women and hot gods, shapeshifters, vampires, dragons, fairies, gargoyles... pretty much any type of supernatural, breathtakingly gorgeous man you can think of. Because why have normal when you could have paranormal?
Born and raised in Hawaii, Amy made a perilous journey across the ocean with six cats to settle in the beautiful state of Oregon which reminds her a lot of Hawaii but without the cockroaches or evil sand. When she isn't trying to type fast enough to get down everything the voices in her head are saying while her kitties try to sabotage her with cuteness, she enjoys painting on canvases, walls, and anything else that will sit still long enough for the paint to dry. She prefers antiques to modern furniture, tea to coffee, night to day, and Tom Hardy to Tom Hiddleston. No; Tom Hiddleston to Tom Hardy. No, wait... Tom Hardy and Tom Hiddleston to Tom Cruise. Yes, that's it.

The Little Glass Slipper: Liked fairy aspect. 4 stars. (3 men)

Overall I really liked and enjoyed all of these stories. They each were quick, interesting, and unique. Each of these stories were short and lacked a little depth but i really enjoyed reading this. The author definitely has a gift for storytelling. This is my favorite compilation book so far. Overall rating is 4.25 stars.

I was not impressed with this book, so it took ages for me to finish it. I cannot pinpoint what exactly made it dull, as the very idea of looking at those tales from an RH perspective is original, but it wss not worth it. Okay, but nothing more.

Loved ❤️ it!!!!

Loved ❤️ it!!!! But I'm sorry Amy while understand why , I didn't like my fun ending at 79%, I get it.... really I do, unlike myself not everyone has had a chance to read all of your wonderfully amazing work like I have , (ok, the complete god hunter series( btw lower g is due to my beliefs not lack of respect) and I love ❤️ it!! Can't wait for "Pride before the Fall" to come out,I've read the 1st book and a part of the 2nd in the Spellsinger series, and I think 3 in the Twilight Court series,....
Nothing against Soren (loved the 1st book) but the feel is very, very different from GH ( not general hospital) which I'm sure
Is what you were going for , but for me the action and the romance aren't in balance , almost all action lil, else, and the action is soo not stop Soren barely has a chance to sleep or eat much less anything else.... Most time I wouldn't even know the Count was her boyfriend if it didn't come up in conversation now and or then because they barely share a kiss 😘 and if anything more happens it's completely off camera /off page ,while the term "clean romance " feels like an oxymoron to me, I don't what all sex either ,laughs funnily enough that brings me to this book!
Laughs, I'd say even though I never say King Kyran and his proclivities coming in Alice's Wonderland 😉🙃😉 ( and personally I'm to dominate in personality to enjoy him quite as he is) he was still a dose of exciting fun and I loved the added twist 😜
I just wish their had been more was my only true complaint!!!
Every story made me wish soo hard I could have been on of her heroines ,cue wicked grin, if only for the men alone 😈
I'd be thrilled to find the right man, but in my dreams I'd love at least 2 ;)
Btw just a thought I think Pan/Pandora and her men could make and amazing series!!!
Out of all the stories it seemed soo to me,especially thinking crazy the Greek gods were ;)
Thank Ms. Sumida!!! I had an awesome and amazing time!!!
And I can't wait for more❣️❣️❣️❣️❣️❣️❣️❤️

Heather's Notes
I really like retellings of fairytales so I enjoyed all these stories. There were several unique twist in a few of them that I really enjoyed. I also liked the other ones but didn't know them quit as well. I will read the next group as well.

Fun collection of fairy tales reimagined into RHs.

Catching up on reviews. Didn’t realize kindle wasn’t marking these completed.

Since I don't normally write reviews unless I have something specific to say, here's the break down of how I rate my books...

1 star... This book was bad, so bad I may have given up and skipped to the end. I will avoid this author like the plague in the future.

2 stars... This book was not very good, and I won't be reading any more from the author.

3 stars... This book was ok, but I won't go out of my way to read more, But if I find another book by the author for under a dollar I'd pick it up.

4 stars... I really enjoyed this book and will definitely be on the look out to pick up more from the series/author.

5 stars... I loved this book! It has earned a permanent home in my collection and I'll be picking up the rest of the series and other books from the author ASAP.

Happily Harem After is a collection of fairy tales unlike any that you have read before! The brilliant mind of Amy Sumida has taken the well-known tales and given them a Reverse Harem twist. I can't stress enough how clever, how imaginative, how delightful they are. The book contains Wild Wonderland (Alice), Four Clever Brothers (previously included in the Falling For Her Anthology; a Grimm Brother's mash-up), Beauty and the Beast (Belle), Pandora's Boys (Pan and the Lost Boys), and Glass Slipper (Cinderella). Wild Wonderland and Pandora's Boys are exceptional. I personally was not a huge fan of Glass Slipper, but I can't argue that it was entertaining. I was surprised that Snow White was not included since it seemed a natural fit, but I am greedy and would have been thrilled with an entire collection of every known fairy tale. Maybe we will have a wonderful volume 2!

Unique RH take on some great fairytales!

I enjoyed the crap out of this book! I'm a huge RH fan, but not so much the fairytales re-written of adults. But Amy, brilliant as she is, made me love them! I especially loved "Pandora's Boys", and how she intertwined the stories. And she gave me a brand new "swear" word that I fell in love with in "Wild Wonderland"!! And fairy godmother cussed!!! Lol! This was honestly the best re-vamping of the fairytales that I've read!

Average reverse harem with fairly forgettable characters. The Card Kings were cool and here and there the stories peaked, but overall by page 300 I wanted to move on to another book. If you’ve read everything else on your to-read list then go ahead and pick this up, but really you won’t be missing anything if you skip this one.

Unfortunately this was a BIG waste of my time.
I writing was horrible, the story telling was horrible, it felt like the author tried to hard to make something simple be magical and made it frustrating and boring. I could go on but I honestly just wanna be done with this and read something enjoyable.

So they only 2 i really enjoyed was Pan and the Cinderella retelling. Had it been just those this would have been a complete 5 for me.

All together this gets a 3.45.

It was unique in its own way and had a very steamy twist to the fairy tales we know.

This was a free book and way different. I knew that there were going to be multiple men and one woman. I’m just not sure I would read more by this author. It was well written and great story ideas just a little odd for me.

Good anthology

I really enjoyed all 5 books, but I do wish there was so much more to the alice in wonderland story. I felt like it skipped a lot of details that could make its own book.

This book is a collection of 5 old fairy tales retold with a reverse harem theme.
The Four Clever Brothers - I like this one the best of the 5
Beauty and The Beast and Cinderella - these are second best
Peter Pan and Alice In Wonderland - did not care for these two

I love all her series, but this book missed the mark for me. I understood what she was trying to do and they were a cute spin, but it just wasn't it for me.

I loved all the stories and the little hints of the originals they contained. Alice's story was a brief romp through wonderland that could have been stretched out into a full book. The Four Brothers was a web of fairytales. The beasts provided a nice surprise to the ending. Pan combined a beloved children's story with mythology. And Cinderella teaches three princes to look beyond the outer beauty.
