Description of NEW YORK (A Bridge & Sword Prequel Novel):
Born in a cyber world. Hunted by an ancient cult.
Allie Taylor lives in a world populated by seers, a second race discovered on Earth.
Psychic, hyper-sexual and enslaved by governments, corporations and wealthy humans, seers are an exotic fascination to Allie, but one she knows she’ll likely never encounter, given how rich you have to be to get near one.
Then her boyfriend has a band concert in New York.
In New York, seers are already visible fixtures on the sex club and business scene. During her trip, Allie survives a terrorist attack, sees seers tasered on the street, deals with boyfriend troubles and someone leaving her cryptic and creepy notes. Weirder still, a tall, black-haired guy with strangely colorless eyes keeps showing up everywhere Allie goes.
When a bizarre seer religious cult targets Allie for an end of the world ritual, her visit goes from bewildering to quite probably fatal.
*
Description of ROOK (Bridge & Sword #1):
In a world populated by a second race, having the wrong blood can be deadly.
Raised human, Allie lives in a version of Earth populated by seers.
Psychics enslaved by governments, corporations and wealthy humans, seers are an exotic fascination, one Allie knows she’ll likely never encounter in person, given how rich you have to be to get near one.
Then members of rival seer factions show up at her work.
Soon Allie finds herself on the run from the law, labeled a terrorist and in the middle of a race war she didn’t even know existed.
When Revik tells Allie she’s the Bridge, a mystical being meant to usher in the evolution of humanity––or possibly its extinction––Allie must choose between the race that raised her and the one where she might truly belong.
*
Description of SHIELD (Bridge & Sword #2):
“And Death will live among them in the guise of a child…”
Grappling with her new identity as “Bridge,” a being meant to end all humanity, isn’t even Allie’s biggest problem.
A new set of rules around Seer culture and her relationship with the infamous Seer infiltrator, Revik, keep getting her in trouble.
Plus, the power-hungry Rook she put in the White House just started a war with China.
Then the boy appears.
A sociopath with all of the energetic markings of Syrimne, a deadly telekinetic who killed thousands during World War I, he doesn’t appear to have aged in one hundred years.

This part is referenced in the main books but not as in depth as here. It is good to get the background story & it's been expanded too. It's great when all the pieces start coming together.
Rook
Having read the original and now the revised version, I can honestly say that the rewrite is a great version to read. Some things are better explained but more importantly the action and the grip you by the seat of your pants sensation are alive and well in this version too. I have read all the books in this series and the like world of Quintin Black, and I will keep coming back for as many as this author writes.
Shield
We pick up right where we left off and just when we think Allie & Revik are going to get some time with one another and work on their relationship wham! We get split personalities, kidnappings, beatings and all manner of torture in this tale. You are left wondering where the next one can possibly go. This is extremely intense in its delivery.
Sword
Trust is definitely big in this one and after several months of working on it, the results are looking good. And then in one brief moment of madness all of it is blown away and we're left wondering what happened. New players are introduced and here is where Allie's role is tested, but so is her very soul tested, she has to decide what she is willing to do to get what she deems most important. We see Allie grow a lot in this one and we see a side to Revik that is new to us.
This series grabs you from the get go. Non stop action, twists and turns. One of my top reads! World building is phenomenal. Characters you hate to love and love to hate. Cousins, start this series today. Become so entranced, ilya, that your mannerisms change just a tad and you believe you can speak prexci.
Humans treat the seers as slaves, as prostitutes and as spies. Fantasy and science fiction meet in this book. Both sides think their side should be the only one.
