Libra Church receives an unexpected phone call from a woman with an accented voice. Libra had registered for the waiting list at Beginnings, and the Catseye was calling her to make a rather unusual offer. Would she care to visit Beginnings if she were to share a room with several other human women?

Of course she would.

Libra and her new friends arrive at Beginnings and share a variety of adventures. Along the way, they meet many of our old friends and a few new ones.

The ETs have decided that humanity should be given more information about what they're doing; selecting mates for themselves since they're too far from home. There are more humans that want to volunteer than there are ETs who want mates. How funny's that? Anyway in this installment the resort's had frequent visitors and there's a 2-year wait list. Beginnings is now an ET/human meet & greet environment and everyone's reminded that they could get selected.
A well done story that could continue, but it's ended well if there are no more stories to tell.
This is a good read about overcoming differences, fears, and finding love.

An intense story to read

There were portions of this book I liked. The main character was sweet but willing to have an adventure. There were parts were she was treated in a way that made me uncomfortable. There was definitely some intense moments in the book. However it does have a happy ending for almost all characters which is good, but it did have kind of a cliffhanger at the end for one character. Can't wait to see what happens in the next book!

The story is so futuristic and yet present day. The ability to relate to the reader the processes of been paralytic in such a tormenting and realistic actually had me tearing up. I have to praise you Robin as with every book not just from these books but I also read every book of the Madison Wolves series! And plenty of other books.

My favorite series by far

I have lived every book in this series. I love the variety of species in the alien presence. I would like to know what happened to all the original selected.
