Cute
Such a cute story of love and coming together as a family. Kyle and Meredith are so meant for each other. Fate decided for them and I'm such a believer that if you are meant to fall and meet the person for you, you will. Good story!

I have read several books by Ellie Danes and One Last Mistake is my favorite to date. In order for me to leave a five star review I really need to respect and admire both the hero and the heroine in the story and I can honestly say I did!
I do PR and Marketing for a living and so did the heroine of the story, Meredith. I like that she has a smart head on her shoulders, in confident, hard working, and a go-getter. She’s financially secure because she saved money, not because someone handed it to her and she doesn’t let people walk all over her. She is someone I would want to be friends with in real life.
She meets Kyle one night when she is new in town and had too much to drink. They have an immediate connection although they don’t remember much the next day. As the overview states, she winds up being hired as the new marketing director for the company in which Kyle was just named CEO. Kyle is smart, sexy, and successful and is finding his way in his new position and trying to make his father proud.
What I like most is how although they both started off wanting to focus on their careers, they were drawn to each other and knew what they felt was special. I like how Kyle especially was very upfront with his feelings, and made it clearly known when he was put in a bad position to do something he didn’t want to do. I like how they could both apologize and recognize when they were wrong, and admit they needed to work on their relationship. I liked how often he complimented her, especially regarding her work and her contribution to the company’s success, and how they worked as a team. This story also has a villain in it, and I like how Kyle fought for the woman he loves and demanded respect. He was very hot when he made his intentions clear, and she never hesitated to support him.
I really like Ellie’s writing style and character development, and how he confided in her. Even Kyle’s dad who retired as CEO is someone I admired. I liked how he, too, could admit when he was wrong and was upfront about it. The reader gets drawn into the sweet and very sensual story, and you will be very happy with the ending. Must read if you love romance.

Another winning story from Ellie Danes!!! Don't let the word count or number of pages fool you because this story is packed with passion, chemistry, sorrow and determination to come out on top.
Meredith is celebrating with her best friend, Ella, with hope of a possible new marketing job with Ella's connections. What she doesn't expect is to wake up next to the sexy man she now remembers sharing drunken secrets with. Kyle has seconds to make the decision to on whether to flee or stick around and spend more time with the captivating curvy woman he spent the night with, if he could just remember her name. There is a definite spark but the awkwardness of the situation and the changes about to happen in life have them backing off of a future date. Kyle is about to become CEO of his father's marketing business but the stress and pressure is making him doubt himself. When he takes the stage after his father announces his retirement he is shocked to see a familiar face among the thousand employees, the one he can't seem to get out off his mind. You thought it was awkward the morning after, just think of the awkwardness when finding out your one night stand is now your boss!! Things are not rosey trying to fight an attraction, find your way in a new job and now threats from an evil rival over the lost chance at a merger through an arranged marriage!!!
Enjoy this quick but riveting story about a chance at true happiness, standing up for what you believe in and admitting when you are wrong. With the Ironwood Billionaires Series I have become a big fan of Elle Danes & Book 3, One Last Mistake is another fantastic addition to the Ironwood Billionaires series! This one will have you on the edge of your seat as these two are handed another chance after a strange twist of fate? Or is it luck? Meredith was looking for a one night stand, a way to relax before she starts a new job as a marketing director & Kyle became her One & Done. You will need to read this one to find out what happens when Kyle & Meredith find themselves back together when Kyle becomes the CEO of the company where Meredith is the new marketing director. Is it fate or luck because one thing is for sure, their chemistry is smokin hot and definitely does not feel like a One & Done! Definitely Recommend One-Clicking one of Elle Danes best storylines in One Last Mistake!

Ellie Danes has composed this fun read for us with likeable, realistic characters with plenty of chemistry between them. One Last Mistake by Ellie Danes is a really good read. There’s great characters, a business savvy storyline that also blends the romance and chemistry right into it seamlessly.
Meredith and Kyle have a roller coaster relationship that leads to developing a powerhouse couple. While both insist on not engaging in a relationship, feelings of the heart overtake and overpower their minds.
Overall a well written book that engages the reader with great character development and a very interesting storyline beyond matters of the heart and heat.

A drunken hook up one night, your boss the very next day. That's what I would call an awkward situation. Meredith and Kyle make the best of it and are a dynamic duo in the office. As their relationship progressed they became a steamy duo as well. I really enjoyed this story. It was well written and held my attention. Meredith and Kyle were believable characters and I couldn't help but root for them.

A celebratory night with her girlfriend ends up as a one night stand with a very hot guy, little does Meridith know that she slept with her new bosses son. Each decides to be grown up about it and work together. Although, there are bumps in the road, Kyle and Meridith come to the conclusion that there is more to this relationship. Between all the drama with the company and Kyle's father, I love these characters and their chemistry is explosive at times. The story is well-written and comes nicely to its wonderful conclusion.

this is book number three in the series but this is not really a series, in which you need to read the previous books, these are all stand-alone books. These books are well written and have decent plotlines and character development.

A well written sexy romance with steam and twists. I like the storyline and plot. Likeable characters who are well described and develops nicely.
I like it is written in dual POV which gives the reader a lot more of the thoughts and feelings of the main characters and brings the story closer to the reader.

It’s always wrong to besmirch anyone’s reputation with outright lies, but if that person is a marketing guru, it will definitely turn around and bite YOU back, harder.
Ms. Danes has given her readers anothe well written book featuring a strong storyline, well-developed characters, and a Happily Ever After ending.

I just loved Meredith and Kyle's story. Romantic, fun and emotional, this workplace romance provides plenty of feels for readers. Great writing, steamy chemistry and added drama make sure your attention is captured and kept.

Meredith and Kyle meet at club when both are drunk and have a steamy night together. What will happen when they find out Meredith will be working for Kyle. This is a fast-paced steamy read with loads of drama and suspense. I liked they characters and the story. An entertaining read.
