Presents recipes from the cafe in Atlanta, Georgia, including house specialities for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, soups, sauces, side dishes, and desserts
I bought this book at the Flying Biscuit Cafe in Atlanta just so I could make my own "love cakes". I highly recommend both the restaurant and the book!
This is absolutely one of my favorite cookbooks. We have enjoyed almost everything in the cookbook- There are a variety of recipes in here, some easy, and some a bit more complicated, but this cookbook should be a staple in everyone's kitchen!
At some point in my household it became a tradition to make cranberry apple butter every year around Christmastime. It is such a great thing to have with oatmeal or toast on a cold winter morning. For a while, I never strayed beyond the recipe for it, the flying biscuits, and the oatmeal pancakes, but recently I also tried the butternut squash soup, and it was delicious. I plan to try the collard greens recipe soon. Of course the main attraction of this book is the biscuits and apple butter, but there are many other gems as well.
This is one of my favorite cookbooks from one of my favorite restaurants in Atlanta. Their biscuits are truly amazing! I love the frozen key lime pie, blueberry muffins and peach and blueberry cobbler.
