This overall was a cute reverse harem series. The author did give us closure and HEA although with this last novella there were some editing errors, but who cares.. (*Shrugging shoulders*) It didn't take away any emotions the author was trying to convey with her audience. I did enjoy the heroes in this series however, the heroine got a little annoying with her compulsive over thinking and insecurities. Nevertheless, I really appreciate how the author included and showed sympathy and empathy with people that suffer from mental illness like depression and anxiety. Bravo Angel Lawson! Job Well Done!
So, I gave this book three stars even though, I loved the A5.... It was mainly because the author gave up on paying attention to details... Like changing the name of Lea's boyfriend. It's a small ish detail but an important one. And even in this book, there was no follow up on Amber's threat for retaliation against Oceanside. Details are important for closure and I just feel that we didn't get it from r a few things. One commenter, for the last book, said that they felt the book was rushed. I had the opposite feeling but THIS book, it was rushed, sloppy and disappointing.
Heaven and her harem boys that included Oliver, Anderson, Jackson and Hayden, will take you on high school adventure full of bullying, emotional twists and turns. Then when you think you get your HEA, the author surprises you with another turn of events! I have read several of this author's series back to back the last month and have enjoyed all of them so far.
I love a series that begins in highschool or college, and ends in adulthood. This one had all three, and it was great. I’m deducting a star for all the errors that were missed in editing, and the painfully obvious outcome of this plot. I suppose it played out just a little differently than I expected, but the end result was clear right from the beginning. It was an awesome ending and a great way to wrap up this series regardless.
The Allendale Four became Five. Oliver, Jackson, Hayden, and Anderson were legendary in the halls of high school, they went on to college, then two to the pros and two back home to open a celebrity gym. But the day that Heaven came into their lives, everything changed. Together, separate, together again. It took years but A5 is solid, happy. Now they are navigating the world as adults and doing it on their own terms. But that doesn't mean that it's always easy. Five adults mean five different opinions, five people making choices not only for the group but for themselves. So when Amber makes a life-altering decision, it shakes Heaven and as a result upsets the balance of her happy home. Conversations need to take place, long-term decisions must be made. Heaven must tell the guys how she feels; it's only fair but she could risk losing them if they want more.
Seventh Heaven is the encore book for the Allendale Four. It's a step into their happily ever after and it's everything I could have hoped for. True to character Heaven is lost in her head, full of angst, and hesitant to confide her innermost fears to her guys. The guys are pretty close to perfect this time around. This story is exactly how it needed to be. It's ultimately sweet and full of love. The hard-won happiness this group found among these pages brought tears to my eyes. These characters deserved this and as a reader, we did too!
Angel Lawson has the habit of creating characters that draw you into their worlds and make you a part of their story. Such is the case with the characters in the Allendale Four series. It is difficult for me to let these characters go as I have enjoyed being a part of their journey. But Heaven and her guys have grown up and all are thriving in their various jobs and careers. The question of children arises when someone the group is close to decides to have a child. This throws Heaven for a loop because she is not sure if she wants children, and is not sure what her guys want. Instead of this issue dividing them, it draws them closer together and this is the perfect ending to this series. Though I am incredibly sad to see these characters go, I am excited to see what Angel Lawson has for us next.
I have read every story about Heaven. Sometimes my heart broke and I cried, other times my heart swelled and the story made me so happy. This was a perfect ending (and beginning) for Heaven. Oliver, Jackson , Hayden and Anderson are her loves and her lifeline. They struggle with a decision in this book that is a common one with all relationships. I hope you are as satisfied with this wonderful wrap up of Heaven and her guys.
I am so sad to see this series come to an end. I love Angel Lawsons books. This series I have fallen in love with each and every one of the boys and couldn’t pick a favourite if I tried. Never thought I’d be one for a reverse harem, but with these four how could you say no. If you haven’t read any of this series, what have you been doing? Seriously, even if you think it isn’t your cup of tea, like I did, give it a go. I didn’t regret it. Neither will you
Nice extended storyline to the series, it was nice to revisit characters I love from the Allendale Four series. The plot was pretty predictable, but I think the book is more about connecting readers to the characters than making a huge statement about communication and compromise with your partner(s).
This was a very sweet conclusion to the story of the A5. However, the grammatical errors really detracted from the overall enjoyment of this novella. I feel like it was put together hastily. I was happy to see the HEA for them all, but wish the author had spent more time ensuring that the book wasn’t accompanied by all those errors.
This is such a cute series and I love how this last book ended everything. They have their friends and they have a happy family after all the struggles they have gone through. I wish the spicy scenes were more detailed and I wish it gave more of a timeline of how long it has actually been between events (this goes for all books). But I definitely recommend this series!
I wanted to cry as I read the last chapter. I didn't want it to end. I loved all of them. The guys are so different but the way they love Heaven is inspiring. Angel did an amazing job with this series.
I was surprised when the books took a huge dive into adulthood, I loved the characters from start to finish! Beautiful story of love that began young flourishing into adulthood! Bravo! Another great book!
Honestly I absolutely enjoyed these books! You’re taken on a journey from the very beginning, the characters are relatable and you’ll be rooting for them until the end!
Seventh Heaven is such a nice present from Angel Lawson. We get to see how our fav characters are traveling after they have been reunited. What challenges they are facing and how they work together to overcome them.
I love how this series deals with real life issues of depression/ anxiety, untraditional relationships and how we can fight against prejudices and ugly people. Love the Allendale 4.
This series is amazing!!! Im sad it is coming to and end but couldn’t think of a better way for it to end!! There were a few spelling errors on the word major, but overall i am sad to see the characters go.
I'm so glad this novella was written. The epilogue fully rounded out the Allendale 5 story and I'm kind of sad to say goodbye to them. I do wonder though.. what was the baby's name?
The build up here was a little disappointing, but I loved the final result. I enjoyed the characters here, some more than others. A little editing is needed throughout the series, but it’s not so bad that I couldn’t read it.
This was good story. A rollercoaster of emotions but with a great ending. This is an easy contemporary RH read and if you are looking for something quick this is the perfect series.
A nice way to end Heaven's series. I'm happy that her and the Allendale 4 got a happy ending. Sad that their story is over but extremely happy for them.
What a fantastic ending. Wow this series was fantastic so sad it's over but the journey was amazing so glad I read it. You should as well such an amazing series
