Miki loves her new life with Emi and Ben, so when they go to visit their dad for the weekend, she worries that they have forgotten her. She stays with Mom, which is cozy and nice, but she is happiest when Emi and Ben are back home again. When they go for a slightly longer visit, Miki notices that they are gone longer than usual and becomes upset at the thought that they might never return. She uses her smarts to go to where she thinks she will find them but everything is scarier without your best friend by your side, and soon she finds herself lost and friendless.

A lovely little story showing how our pets miss us just as much as we miss them when we're away from home and their intelligence at knowing our routines. A few facts about the Shiba Inu breed are mentioned; I think we all can recall the happy Shiba Inu smile. As always, Holly Webb writes a touching story showing the affection between pet and caretaker.

It was a cute little story about a Shiba Inu and a girl. It showed a lot from the puppy's point of view and it was very good.

In this book, Emi and her brother and mum move into a new house after their parents split and their mum says they can get a dog.

As they get a new puppy they still have to stay with their dad every weekend and so leaving their puppy who doesn't understand, their new puppy sets off to find them including by getting stuck on a train and getting lost but can she find her way home and to her loving family?

This was a fantastic book showing how the bond between dog and owner can be so strong and it was a great eye opening read to the danger that could occur should a new puppy get themselves lost trying to follow their owner!

The book “The Forgotten Puppy” in my opinion s a wonderful book. I think ts a good book because it’s about a puppy that really loves her person Emi and i think that is really sweet. What happens is that Emi and her mom and brother move to a new home and a while ago Emi’s mom sai when then get settled in they could think about getting a puppy. But Emi is worried that the puppy will miss her when she visits her dad on the weekend. I would recommend this book to someone who really likes dogs and someone who doesn't like to read long books.

A girl bonds with a puppy but has to leave it at weekends when she visits her dad.

Quite a sweet story for children - those who love dogs will probably really enjoy it.

I love the cover and it is the first book about a shiba inu I have read. But it felt really short, too short, and I don't think the title has anything to do with the plot.

I really liked it. It was very cute, perfect for children who love puppies and whose parents might be divorced.
