Беше приятно отново да се потопя не само в света на Хари, но и в този на One direction. Толкова много факти бях забравила и си припомних по време на четенето. Все едно отново бях на 13 и преживявах всичко за втори път. До известна степен дори осъзнах колко много време и енергия съм вложила в One direction през годините… нямаше факт, който да не знам. Попаднах на доста бизнес решения, направени спрямо 1D, които не осъзнавах, когато бях малка. До някаква степен книгата направо излекува детето в мен, защото отговори на част от въпросите, които съм имала през годините. 😅 

От цялата книга единствено не ми хареса пълното отхвърляне на Лари Стайлинсън. Не мога да кажа дали е имало някога такова нещо, но никой не би могъл да каже със сигурност, затова ми се искаше да има поне малък коментар относно възможното му съществуване. И без това, както във всяка биография, всичките връзки на Хари бяга подробно коментирани, въпреки че никога не е ставало ясно дали наистина е имало нещо между него и отсрещната жена.

Малко повърхностна ми се стори. Харесвам Хари, като мъж и артист. Страхотно отношение към жените и не само… въпросът е, че в книгата основно са описани песните и създаването им, както и по 2-3 реда за връзките, които е имал. За личния живот на Хари почти нищо не става ясно. Нищо различно от това, което можем да разберем в YouTube за него.

look i love harry but this entire book felt like the author was trying to suck harry’s dick and get attention. not everything in hollywood is about harry and this author claimed things as hard facts that we now know aren’t. if you’re wondering whether to read this don’t bother read harry’s wikipedia page instead it’s more accurate

Such a pathetic attempt to write a biography.

The whole book is filled with needless information about the life and career of other people who in reality don’t affect the life of Harry. I mean, who the fvck really cares where the make-up artist of Harry lived as a child or who owned the pub that Anne and John bought after their marriage, for example. The whole book felt like an endless advertisement of every single person Harry crossed paths with. Instead of these stupid facts the author could write a little bit more about One Direction, rather than listing the number of likes Harry got on every single tweet he ever posted.
And not to mention the arrogant comments of the author about Louis and Zayn, who constantly compared their flaws with the fact how Harry has everything they would never have. What a disgusting way to show the amazing person Harry is by disrespecting and insulting his bandmates.
It’s even more repulsive how the author claims to prove that Harry is not a toxic womanizer but then manages to mention every single speculation about his relationships even though some of them were publicly debunked. What is said to be wildly speculated among his fans is actually pure lies published in popular gossip magazines and websites.
Buying this book I hoped that I will come across an interesting biography about one of my favourite artists, but what I was left with is a poorly executed work representing facts and theories I’ve read million times online. And if this is a way to inform the general public about Harry’s life, then it would be much better to leave it in the hands of the wikipedia page.

The only thing i appreciate about this book is the detailed description of all the charity campaigns, organisations, and movements Harry supported and participated in, the way he always treated the people around him and his fans, which is what in reality shows his true kindness and uniqueness.

Първо - ОБОЖАВАМ Хари, музиката му и всичко, което прави🤍 Имах доста високи очаквания към книгата, които обаче не бяха напълно оправдани.
Ще започна с положителното - беше ми много интересно да разбера повече за началото на кариерата му, защото по това време бях малка и не успях напълно да съпреживея като фен този етап от развитието му. Беше ми особено интересна частта преди и по време на X Factor. Хареса ми също това, че бяха описани подробно благотворителните организации, които Хари подкрепя и като цяло авторът е успял да го представи като човек, уважаващ всички без предразсъдъци.
От друга страна, особено там, където се говори за One Direction, усетих малко пренебрежително отношение от страна на автора към останалите членове на групата. Разбира се, Хари е в светлината на прожекторите в книга, представяща собствената му история, но смятам, че останалите също заслужават уважение, защото те заедно са успели да изградят името One Direction ( например ,,Луи едва ли е нужен, защото на практика това е шоуто на Хари като ,,фронтмен по рождение" "; ,,Оттеглянето на Зейн всъщност е идеално за Хари"). Друго нещо, което не ми хареса са всички коментари за връзките на Хари, някои от които никога не са били официално потвърдени. Създава се усещане, че веднага би тръгнал с всяка жена, което в действителност предполагам, че не е точно така. От време на време се чувствах все едно чета таблоид с клюки, а не биографична книга. Също така, цялата информация за хората, които познава и с които е работил беше на моменти прекалено дълга (от една страна ми обогати общата култура, защото имаше и популярни лица, както и ми създаде една по-подробна представа за обкръжението на Хари, но от друга- имаше не толкова значими хора, чиято история не ми беше особено интересна).
Като цяло книгата ми хареса, имаше момент на леко разочарование, но бих я препоръчала на всеки, който харесва Хари и иска да разбере повече за него и кариерата му.🫶🏼

Определено имаше какво ново още да науча. Тъй като харесвам Хари и One direction повече от 10 години вече, бях позабравила някои неща, затова беше хубаво да си ги припомня. Имаше от всичко по малко - детството му, тийн годините, участието в Х фактор и сформирането на групата, участията им и истерията на феновете по тях, успехите, раздялата и соло кариерата на Стайлс, връзките му, турнетата, актьорската му дейност..
Както и предполагах, беше отхвърлено предположението за съществуваща връзка между него и Луи и бе наблегнато на това, че е "женкар" и има влечения към по-възрастни жени. Очаквах да пише повече за групата, за взаимоотношенията му с останалите момчета, тъй като бяха заедно немалко време и точно благодарение на тях стана толкова известен.
Определено Хари е мъж за пример, винаги е бил модел за подражание и съм му се възхищавала на таланта, излъчването, добротата; на това, че не дискриминира хората и ги приема с всичките им странности и различия. Самият той не лепва етикети и се радвам, че откъсвайки се от групата (колкото и да ми е все още тъжно заради това), той най-накрая е себе си и не се притеснява как биха го възприели околните.

Co by to bylo za cestu do Spojeného království bez alespoň jednoho Harryho? Takhle většina začíná většina mých výletů tímto směrem a buď se mnou jezdí časopisy, trička, plátěnky nebo knihy, které se Harrymu věnují. A dnes vám chci ukázat jednu z nich!

One Direction byli shrnutím mé puberty. Milovala jsem jejich písničky, jejich oblečení, prostě je! Ironií možná tak trochu je, že Harry nikdy nepatřil do mé topky.

Když si jejich kapela rozhodla dát pauzu (čti rozpadla se, ale já pořád věřím) a Harry se dal na sólovou dráhu, nikoho z nás neminuly písničky jako Sign of the times, Watermelon sugar nebo As it was.

Ani tehdy jsem Harryho neregistrovala nijak víc, ale to se časem úplně obrátilo. Nebudu popisovat celou cestu, protože to je jiný příběh, ale Harry je teď někým, koho na drobnostech kolem vídám každý den.

Sean Smith, autor spousty biografií známých osobností, vzal pro tentokrát Harryho příběh od útlého dětství až po jeho nejúspěšnější Love on Tour.

Harryho popisuje jako nesmírně milého člověka, milujícího syna a bratra. Harry je člověkem otevřeným a tolerantním, má osobitý styl, osobité názory.

Ačkoliv jsem skeptická k některým informacím, zda se zakládají na pravdě, kniha se mi moc líbila. Byla doplněna o moc pěkné fotografie a popisovala také Harryho natáčení několika filmů nebo nahrávání alb, což mě osobně moc bavilo.

Já knihu četla v originále, ale vloni jsme se u Euromedie dočkali českého vydání pod značkou Universum.

Osobně můžu říct, že jste-li Harryho fanouškem a ovládáte alespoň základní angličtinu, sáhněte spíše po originálním kousku. V poměru ceny a výkonu vám nabídne úplně stejné informace, jen za mnohem příznivější cenu a samozřejmě i zmíněné fotografie, které v českém vydání chybí. 🩵
