This is the second book from 3-book bundle by Ace Eddleman: https://learning.52aces.com/memory-ma... It is a deeper dive into how your memory works, exploring all the most important pieces of the memory puzzle so you can be prepared for maximizing it. * It’s about 80 pages of easy-to-understand explanations. * In this book, you’ll learn how your brain takes in information, turns it into memories and then pulls those memories out later. * By using analogies, vivid imagery, and concrete examples to highlight and expand on these principles, you’ll have a strong base for understanding how your memory works. * Here where your learning and memory skills will really start to build. * After you read this, you’ll have enough knowledge to jump into Ace's complete learning system: The Learning Factory.
This is a pretty short and solid book. While it doesn't provide any shiny memorization techniques it'll give you solid foundations and understanding how your memory works and help you to dissolve some popular memory myths (e.g. Photographic memory).
It's a great first step before diving into more serious and elaborate works or as a preparation for Ace's Learning Factory book. Small downside is that you don't get much advice on how to best apply these "memory fundamentals" in practice. However, this is something that you should find in Learning Factory.
If you want to get a better grasp of how your memory works and don't want to spend many hours on a longer book give this one a shot.
