Steward Daniels and his team from Gilbert Labs have successfully developed a fat eating bacteria. But a year after the FDA gave their approval for his wonder drug, planes began falling out of the sky and the highways became polluted with fatal crashes. What Steward did not anticipate was that his miracle cure for obesity had begun eating brain cells.

Now, surrounded by the Stupids, a name he gave to all of those people who were ruined by his breakthrough diet pill, he must try to help a group of kids survive in a world he helped destroy.

Deadly Cure can best be described as a cross between World War Z and The Select by F. Paul Wilson. It will appeal to the fans of The Walking Dead who want the gore level dropped from a ten to just below a two.
