Why authors believe that tricking the reader into signing up for author spam to read what proves to be a sampler, not the entire book is lost on me. I could have downloaded the sampler from Amazon without the additional bother. Is this really going to make me feel positively disposed toward the author? What I received for my author sign-up was the first two chapters of a budding high school romance.
The story is entertaining, but written by a young author with poor grammar. But, it's like crack, I can't get enough and I want to know what's going to happen, even though it's predictable and poorly written... I guess that speaks to the author's ability to create believable characters.
A sweet cute read. Unnoticed girl meets popular boy that turns out to be a prince in disguise. I liked the idea of the storyline/plot. A fast read but written a little too YA-ish for me to thoroughly enjoy as much as I had hoped too.
