This is the first book that I've read by Scarlet Ellis and I did enjoy her writing style and storyline very much.  This is a fast paced read about Noah who is a pro-footballer and a womaniser who always gets their attention as they virtually fling themselves at him. But Ruby is different and he knows it.  But after one night of unbelievable passion she refuses to answer his calls or messages.  It's as if she is finished with him before they've even properly begun.  He may have enjoyed his playboy ways before but not now. Not now that he's met her.  She makes him feel and want so much more- including a real relationship with him.  Why won't she answer him?  She certainly seemed to enjoy their time together as much as he did.  But she has not taken into account how she made him feel and, no matter what, he's going to get her back.  How will he react when he finds out her reason for avoiding him?  A fun intense read that had me reading it in one go as it was so good. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.  I look forward to reading more of her books. He had her at the first moment she was him but she could not keep away. He was a playboy and they had one great night. He left her with a surprise and she knew he had only a one night thing. He knew she was more than a one night th I thinks he could not find her? Why? He needs to find her. What will happen when he learns why she stayed away? See what will happen

Amazing quick read that takes you on a rollercoaster journey of emotions. The characters are good but the book is all a bit to sweet for my taste. It would be perfect if you like the happily ever after sweet book but I like more ups and downs with a bit more realism.

This is a solid read - quick, entertaining and pretty hot. A short, fast-paced romance that is extremely steamy with sizzling chemistry between the characters. There are minor ups and downs but not enough to prevent the characters from achieving their HEA. A truly amazing read; definitely recommended. This is a quick read if you are wanting heat and spice this isn't the book for you it is a sweet romance that is a nice fast read

Noah and Ruby have a one night stand now their futures are intertwined with the repercussions from that night.

editing problems

The story is short and sweet but serious editing problems - including writing queues in brackets left in during the 1 spicy scene. Really takes you out of the story.

Nice characters but the development of the story is too quick and rushed, but the story was good looking at it from a wider perspective.
