Daisy is a college student. She loves math. She doesn’t always like her math professor, but she fantasies about him.
Connor also loves math. He’s a college professor. He loves teaching math, but he’s a tough professor. Connor fantasies about one of his students and her name is Daisy.
So Daisy and Connor fantasy about each other, but it’s forbidden. They do grow closer when Connor tutors Daisy. They talk a lot and also about what they feel about each other.
I really liked Connor and Daisy. Daisy is smart, talented, kind, innocent, determined and shy. She studies hard, because she knows what she wants to do later. She isn’t too happy with the points she’s getting from her math’s professor, but she’s happy when Connor teaches her some more to get better points. Daisy is definitely attracted to Connor, but she never expected that he could feel the same about her.
Connor is smart, passionate, honest, controlling and tough. He pushes his students to be better. Connor thinks that Daisy is excellent in math, but he still wants to get her better in it. He believes in her. Connor wants Daisy so much that he wants to risk his job to be with her.
Connor and Daisy’s love is a forbidden one, but they have a solid relationship. When someone tries to jeopardize their relationship, they will fight for their love. They want to be together forever.
Satin and Pearls is a good first book in Lauren Landish’s new series. This book is fast paced, hot, sweet and quick. I can’t say exactly what, but I missed something to give this book more than 3 stars.
