Hassan II le roi intellectuel, descendant de prophète et commandeur des croyants témoignage dans ce livre de ses mémoires ses révélations et ses pensées . Le souverain évoque d'abord son adolescence et les temps les plus sombre de protectorat, le jeune prince héritier militant pour l'indépendance de Maroc. Après la mort Mohammed v, le roi Hassan II doit conduire un autre combat en des circonstances difficile. Il entreprend de construire une nation moderne, et régler les problèmes des frontières en maintenant la paix et en instaurant la justice sociale.

Hassan 2 was a great king that all Moroccans were proud of his strong personality and determination, he rules for 38 years with good manners and had a good relationship with other countries, mainly the United States, as Morocco was the first country to admit independence of the unites states. Economically, he fought for poverty and managed to provide all citizens with what they need.
