This book was created as a collaboration between an art teacher who is an author, and an English teacher who loves art. Illustration and verse have long been great partners; one cannot survive without the other. We present these classical poems to be explored and illustrated, giving them new life. From Shakespeare to Louis Carroll and many in-between, no one should go through life without being exposed to these timeless works of poetry. This book is set up so that you may make copies for your students as a regular assignment or potential substitute plan. Though this book was written with art teachers in mind, it will be a valuable resource for English, literature, and history teachers as well.
