I've read this book at least 3 times and I know all of my siblings have read it too. My dad had a library in our basement and as we all reached an appropriate age we all at some point or another took it off the shelf. It's a story of struggle and triumph but mostly of family and how they cope , in good and bad ways, with hard times

The encouraging story of persistence and family love. Real life responses to tragic events that happen.

An incredible story of a family truly identifying their selves when faced with the grievest tragedy. It teaches us that the limits can always be tested even against the gravest odds.
