I feel like this book was written for me. I like self help books and I like working on aspects of myself and always striving for bettering/improving something.... that being said, I've never had a book hit so close to home, to shake my core so deeply, and challenge not only my thoughts but actions.... this book is blunt, it is harsh at times, but it cuts through the bullshit and gets to the heart of the issues and problems.... there are multiple exercises that I've copied down and plan on working through in my journal, and I see myself re-reading this book at least once if not more in the future. This is really hitting home with me and has truly inspired me to live more authentically. I knew I wore masks and had filters.... I knew I wasn't living my life to the fullest, but I convinced myself I was doing good enough or I was ok with my life being that way.... but its all excuses, and because of my own fears I'm limiting myself..... this book was amazing, and for a free book on amazon I feel like I won the lottery.
