CAUTION: DISTURBING THEMES CONTAINED WITHIN This is a gut wrenching tale. It contains scenes of shitty things happening to decent people that will play out like a train wreck in slow motion, leaving your heart in your throat and a knot in your stomach.

Joe and Juliette. J&J. And their sweet, baby Emma. They'd officially graduated from couple to real life family, finally turned the corner of a lifetime of shitty luck.

Or had they?

Brought to you by Warren Barns, the eldest, and by far most f*#%ked up Barns Brother.

Absolutely devastating and gut-wrenching. One of the hardest stories involving a newborn that I've seen to date. While very brief, it packs a punch. No need for supernatural horror here, as it focused on real world fare. A very strong showing from Warren Barns that will make you take a very deep breath when you see it read, The End.

Solid book, great writing and very creepy. I think that because I have no children this book didn't hit as hard as it could have but I really enjoyed this short read.

Dark and Disturbing

The Barns Brothers are at it again. If you can sit through Mother, then hopefully you can make it through this nightmare fuel! As a mother, this fear is all too real!

Short and not so sweet..

More like a punch to the gut without the physical contact. Shortness of breath and racing heart most definitely included!

It was okay...

Not my favorite, but it was okay for a short story. I guess I was just expecting something kinda different.

A Great Tragedy!

This book broke my heart! It begin on one of the world’s greatest blessings, and slowly evolves into a Tragedy.
