Curiosity got the best of me, propelling me to pick up this book. Moon Tide has the potential to be a good book but I felt like I was reading a teenage girls diary rather than a novel. The storyline starts after Mirela and Dravens relationship has been established and proceeds to give us highlights about her day to day life. I recommend this book to any and all middle schoolers but this is one book that I cannot recommend for everyone to pick up.

Moon Tide is the first book in the series. The excitement really ramps up, and Mirela realizes what she faces. It's a mystery and adventure, with a swoon-worthy vampire as the hero!

This is book 1 to the Immortal Prophecy and I absolutely loved it. Mirela is in love with Draven but she has been forbidden to see him by her mother but that doesn’t stop Mirela from sneaking around. Draven is the dark prince that the prophecy is about but he disappears and Mirela is devastated. I absolutely loved this story but you do need to read the prequel but I will say that it’s worth it, I can’t wait to get my hands on book 2. If your into stories like The Vampire Diaries and Twilight then this book is for you. A fantastic story a 5 plus ⭐️ read and I highly recommend this book it’s definitely well worth the read.

This book was o.k. it could have been better I think if it wasn't for the constant repetition in the Draven chapters! I found these chapters tedious. I really enjoyed the rest of the book albeit not enjoying the draven chapters. I would still give the rest in the serious a chance solely due to the parts I did enjoy.

This is the first book in a new young adult vampire series by Sela Croft. Mirela, the lead female, is a young woman about to graduate from high school and enter to college. She's in love with Draven, a guy who her mother has forbidden her from seeing, but she sees behind her mother's back because she feels this intense attraction to him. Unbeknownst to her, she has a role to play in an ancient prophecy involving a vampire prince who happens to be Draven. One day, Draven disappears without a trace under mysterious circumstances. Mirela is devastated. Not being able to accept the fact that Draven is gone, she spends her days looking for signs of him. During her time at college, she witnesses glimpses on this seedy, dark, other world with evil nonhuman creatures. At night, she receives glimmers of hope that Draven is still around through dreams. As one can imagine, she's a bit of an emotional wreck. Ms. Croft did a good job of capturing that feeling of not giving up on the person you love no matter what gets thrown your way. Aspects of the story are also told from Draven's perspective, so readers get some insight into what happened with him as well. Needless to say, it's not exactly paradise. It will be really interesting to see where things go from here.

I received a review copy of this book from the author via Voracious Readers Only in exchange for an honest review.

I found this book really easy to get into and entertaining. I liked the fact you could clearly tell which perspective each chapter was written from with the chapter titles. I loved that I didn’t know what was going to happen immediately and found out along with the main character along the course of this book.
I feel like it could have been longer and I longed for more detail, though I do love reading rather long novels.

This is intense, build the tension up and then WHAM, end the book so you have to buy the next book to see what happens! So, the first book is the entire build-up and background information for the second title! This is Not a stand-alone book, and it's short, but oh my, it is mighty and makes you want to see what happens next!

DNF 25%...nice cover though!

This book is an odd mix of stilted conversations, flat characters, and rushed paragraphs. I kept trying to give it a chance, but I have "rules" I specifically put in place for books like these: if I don't automatically want to pick it up when I get in bed, it's not for me 😂 SO MANY BOOKS SO LITTLE TIME!

This book was a very quick read and had very interesting characters. Very vivid in your mind so you feel like you are there. Hate cliffhangers though! Can’t wait for book #2. I especially like how persistent Merlana was in finding her love.

Loved it

What a great young adult paranormal romance story. I found this book to be very good on the characters to be very realistic except for maybe her mother, her mother was a bit out there.

I felt this was the longest book I have ever read! I tried to like it but I just can't! It lacks the connection between the characters and the reader. It was just so flat and boring. I feel the interaction between the characters are missing. The author was just narrating the story.

Immortals

I liked the book but didn't love it. It took a long time for Mirela to figure out thiNgs. Her family really didn't help her out and not till the end do we see any thing interesting.

Worth reading

Well it's worth reading if you read the sequel I assume. It's building up the story of their love and her struggles to find him. I'm going to read blood moon next.

Moon Tide

I have to say this book didn't grab my interest even though I love these types of books. The ending of the book was a cliff hanger and I hate that.
