The cries outside the clubhouse haunt Thorn until he believes he's paranoid. And, he can't ignore the pain-filled screams that only he can hear. At forty-eight years old, Thorn Stanton takes on the responsibility of delivering the chopped motorcycles to Brikken Motorcycle Club's partner three states away. As the only single member in his family, the criminal activities fall on him if the Feds swoop down. Until he discovers a little girl — who needs him more than Brikken. As the guilt of Thorn's past shapes his future, he knows there's only one choice. Following Rollo's legacy, he's undaunted. He'll do anything to keep those he loves safe. Being a single mother and only twenty-one years old doesn't stop Jessy Reed from making sure her five-year-old daughter has everything she needs to grow up knowing she is loved. The only time she has to recoup her energy and breathe is when Nikki's father has her for the weekend. But, a phone call in the middle of the night from an older biker changes her life and destroys the confidence she has in herself. The last person in the world she thought she'd lean on pushes his way into her life. Thorn's bond with her daughter makes it impossible not to accept his help. But, Thorn goes too far before she can stop him. With her hands tied and no one to confide in, she can only wait. Each day gets harder and more painful. She owes him too much.

Thorn is book 4 in the Brikken Motorcycle Club Saga and the final book. I have to say that I'm really going to miss these Stanton men. They are loving, loyal, and protective of each other and their families. While I loved Thorn, Jessy and Nikki, there was just something missing for me. The relationship between Thorn and Nikki was so special it warmed my heart, but Thorn and Jessy's relationship was lightning speed that I had trouble connecting. I think one of the best things about these books has been Chief. His dedication and love for his family just made me love him even more. Now I feel the need to mention that this book really needs to be edited. Now I'm normally not picky but the mix of names became annoying and distracting. Overall, I really enjoyed these books and I look forward to rereading them again.
This story was lovely but slightly marred by frequent typos. Particularly when the incorrect character was mentioned or a name was misspelled. I didn’t notice it as much in the first two books and it was less frequent in the third. Nonetheless a good read if you can get by that.
Great storytelling! My only regret is that the Brien stories may be over...well, as far as the main family. All of Chief's sons and himself are now married with their own families. Jett may be President but his presence is still loud and clear.
Not only are all of these men related by name but they definitely have the same blood! Each one of them has been attracted to and settled down with a much younger woman. Thorn is drawn to Jessy when he rescues her 5 year old daughter. Only 21 herself, she is caught off guard when she is drawn to him as much as her daughter depends on Thorn in an emotional and psychological way. Then the unthinkable happens. Jessy's ex returns and wants to see his daughter even after the abuse he has already put Nikki through. Thorn goes to jail for 18 months but the love between Thorn, Nikki and Jessy endures.
Another great MC series from Debra whose every book and series have an individual storyline and feeling. Floved this series!
I absolutely loved this series. This story ripped my heart to pieces. For years Thorn has been the only one to hear mysterious sounds. One night he finally finds source of those sounds and it changes his entire world. He becomes very protective over the Nikki the little girl he finds that night and her mother Jesse who knew nothing of what her daughter has been through. My heart shattered for Jesse as the guilt she feels consumes her as she learns of all things her daughter been though and starts piercing it all together with Thorn by her side. Thorn changes Nikki and Jesse's lives as they fall in love and bring a scared little Nikki out of her shell. The moment Nikki says his name I was a crying mess. I don't want to give anything away so you'll have to read this book for yourself. I promise you will not be disappointed. Debra once again you have hit it out of the ball park and I can't wait to see what you bring us next.
Absolutely loved this book!!! Thorn is a big, bad biker who is kind of scary if you don't know him. When he keeps hearing the cries that no one else does, he thinks he's going crazy. He's determined to find the source. When he finally does, it breaks his heart and makes him so angry. When he finds out who's responsible it's not going to be pretty.
Jessy is scared when she gets a call about her daughter. She rushes to get her and is shocked by what she finds. She knew Nikki's father belonged to a MC but she really didn't understand everything going on.
When push comes to shove will Jessy be able to live with everything that comes with being a man so much older than her and belonging to him? Will she be able to handle everything that happened to her daughter and not blame it on the club? Will she be able to let go of all the guilt that she feels?
I absolutely devoured this book!!! I fell in love with Thorn!! He's definitely a new bbf for me!
I read all 4 books and this book was a page turner, finished it in one night. Thorn heard this crying and he had to find out where it was coming from, and he found this little girl who smelled terribly and she couldn't talk, come to find out her dad was a member of the Brikken club, and he called her mom who thought he was taking care of her. Anyways, Thorn has this connection with Nikki and of course with her mom and Jesse has trust issues, and because of Thorn's age she doesn't want to start a relationship but that changes. Also Nikki feels comfortable with Thorn and starts using words. Don't want to spoil wants happens so you'll need to read this book, its a very touching love story!
Thorn is a tough guy but lately he is haunted by cries in the night. This night is no different but he finally finds the source of the cries. Jessie is a single mother who struggles with her daughter who doesn't speak. A phone call later and her world it ripped on it axis. Can a young single mother and an older gruff biker make a go of it.
4 stars**** Can I say I just love Thorn!!! I always have.. loved this book although I found the heroine a bit tedious sometimes.. Thorn is the damn sweetest thing ever.. But does this mean this is the end of the series? How about a book on Jackie or Stacci (I think that's her name🤷🏽♀️🤦🏽♀️)... Will miss brikken MC😭
So as I sit here, just finishing Thorn the last and final book in the Brikken c saga. I'm feeling a little sad. By finishing this set of books I feel as !y best friends have just left me for good. Well done Mrs.Debra Kayn. I absolutely loved this saga really can't wait to get my hands on another set. Much love and nothing but good juejue to you and yours!
Not sure why the characters names keep getting mixed up. It happened twice in this book. Should be picked up in editing. Just ruins it for me. Sydney keeps being used for other character names. This happened in the last one too.
I absolutely loved the entire series!!!!! I was captivated from the first book. Please, please tell me there will be books for the sister's Jackie and Stassi.
Such a good book. The Hero felt an instant connection with the heroine's daughter and grew to love both mother and daughter. I recommended this book to a friend and I told her, the Brikken MC has loyalty to each other but nothing transcends the loyalty they have to their women and children. Blatantly obvious in this book. The age gap between the two characters didn't bother me at all. Honestly there was nothing I didn't like about this book. 5 stars
This is Book 4 in the Brikken Motorcycle Club and my favorite of them. I loved it and highly recommend you reading the complete series. I can't wait to read more about the club.
I totally LOVED this book, I am seriously addicted to this sexy older bikers. The plot was definitely raw and angst filled and freaking loved it. I enjoyed this story very much.
I think of all the brothers Thorn is my favorite. I loved his connection with Nikki and his deep love for her momma. Great story, great writing and another incredible motorcycle saga finished.
Thorn loves Jessy from the first moment he sees her! Thorn has been haunted by screams to the point that he believes he is paranoid. Then he discovers a little girl and his life changes forever. Jessy is a single mother who loves her daughter and works hard to provide everything for her. When a biker calls her in the middle of the night she realises that she hasn't been able to protect her beloved daughter. Filled with rage, she will do something that will put her in danger of losing everything. Thorn will protect Jessy and her daughter no matter the cost. Will Jessy be strong enough to accept his help and his love? A heartwarming love story! Thorn knows what he wants and nothing will come between him and his woman. Jessy is admirable, she's very young but has dedicaated her life in taking care of her little girl. They truly belong together!
