I started reading this series when I was studying in high school. It feels like I am growing up with the author. She moved to Tokyo 20 years ago to live on her own ti pursuit a life/career she wants. Throughout the years, her illustration career blossoms, she takes on marathon running, and she enjoys great food along her marathon trips. And now she finally got married at the age of 40 and has a little girl of one year old. This is by far the book I like most in this series. So much love and resonance. Can’t wait to read the next one about parenting I presume?
Naoko Takagi has a magical ability to remind people that life is never short of beautiful things and sweet encounters, though there might be difficulties and troubles once in a while. Her stories never fail to warm my heart.
