An enjoyable novella for beginners learning Spanish at the A2 level. The vocabulary is more advanced than the A1 level graded readers, more use of the past tense and compound tenses. There is no included vocabulary list so I would recommend using a Kindle or similar device for reading with an included dictionary.
I enjoyed reading this book and read it quickly. It is easy to read, an interesting story and uses an easy language. I had to check out only four words. Using everyday language helps to consolidate what you have learned.
Perfect for beginners (A1 - A2). The story is easy enough to understand (vocabulary), fast paced and has a nice ending! I look forward to reading more from this author.
A slightly more complex read than her A1 level stories, with less repetition and more varied verb tenses, Ann Martin again manages to create an enjoyable read while staying within a designated level of difficulty (A2 in this case).
An easy read - 80 short pages. I jumped into this for intensive reading practice. The plot didn't capture me, but overall, it was a good, concise story for language learning.
