An absolutely fantastic read. I loved the story and the characters. There were some characters I didn't like. I loved this trilogy. Would like to read more from Dela. 5*. Highly recommended.

WOW, What can i say what a gripping final book in this amazing series that again had me glued to my kindle till i had devoured this story, and what a story this was.

Dela,Warsgra,.Orergon and Vehel are on a mission to stop the great war that is threatening to tear there country apart and must travel to each side to get all the people on side and to follow Dela as there leader with her Dragon to offer peace and freedom to live where they want.

There is one thing though that threatens to derail Dela and that is the story that her brother might be alive after all,She was told that he was taken by the Elvish three years ago at the southern pass and put in the catacombs and left to die.She needs to find out for herself if this is true, but the war is still more important than her Brother so this gets put on hold.

This book follows the four of them as they move from place to place to get all the people on side for there freedom, but nothing is as easy as it seems and there are lots of obstacles along the way that test them to there limits. There was plenty of action along for the ride and the chemistry that develops between Dela.Warga,Orergona and Velel heats up and the action that happens is hot and sexy Phew!.

Loved this series and the end didn't disappoint, there was a few twists and i wasn't sure how this was going to end as it was tense at times.Five magic sexy stars.

This was a stellar ending to The Chronicles of the Four Trilogy. I loved how they faced seemingly unsurmountable odds and yet they always scraped through by the skin of their teeth at the very last second. The characters were wonderfully developed, Dela especially, and took you on one heck of a rollercoaster of an adventure from start to finish. I thought this was by far the best of the three, until the last dozen pages. The ending seemed very hurried, whereas the rest of the story developed in time to the plot, then it was like word vomit and everything just kind of happened/finished up abruptly. I still very much enjoyed the story, it just took the overall magic, for lack of a better word, down a few pegs. Thank you for the opportunity to review this work, it was an exciting romp through another world!

Into a Dragon's Soul is the thrilling and action-packed conclusion to the Chronicles of the Four series.

In this book Dela, Warsgra, Orergon, and Vehel must travel throughout Xantearos to unite their peoples in order to stop King Crowmere on his quest for war. By bringing together the human army, the Norcs, the Moerians, and the Elvish, Dela plans to return Xantearos to how it once was, as a place of peace where anyone- despite their race- can live anywhere they choose, west or east of the mountains. With the help of the dragons, Dela the Dragonsayer is determined to change her world for the better.

This book is the perfect conclusion for this series. It has just as much if not more action than the previous books, keeping the excitement consistent. I also really enjoyed getting to know the other races a little better. When traveling to unite the people Dela goes to the Norcs' village at the Southern Trough, the Moerians' Vast Plains, and Inverlands of the Elvish where we get a deeper look at each of the races and how they live.

This book also shows Dela fully "uniting" *wink wink* with Warsgra, Orergon, and Vehel. While I did enjoy their romance and watching their relationship come about, in this series the romance seemed a bit like a second thought to the rest of the plot. While normally I'm all about the romance, especially in a reverse harem, in the case of this series I actually appreciated how it wasn't all about Dela and her lovers. This book is definitely more centered around the action and adventure in a fantasy world that completely pulled me in and kept me on the edge of my seat.

Another addition that I enjoyed in this book was Dela's lost brother Ridley. Finally discovering what truly happened to him is upsetting but also a relief to a previously- slightly- annoying plot hole. I like how the author tied him into the story throughout the entire series and kept his presence relevant even when his character wasn't actually present.

And now, last but not least, the dragons. I love dragons so any book with them in it, whether they're shifters, animals, or companions, is a book I'm going to enjoy. I really liked the role they played in this series. The first actual look at a dragon shows how beautiful and fearsome they can be. In book 2 Dela understands that they are not simple creatures but ones whose respect and trust must be earned. And in this last book we see how powerful they truly are and how, when working together, anything can be accomplished. I was very happy to see Dela's dragon named in this story and loved seeing slight little details of dragon personality slip through the story. This story depicts dragons as more than just animals but beings with feelings who form bonds.

Chronicles of the Four is a great fantasy reverse harem series. I really enjoyed all three books and can't wait to read more by this author in the future.

I really enjoyed the conclusion to this trilogy, and having been waiting in anticipation for it I wasn’t disappointed.

I really enjoyed seeing the relationships continuing to develop, and getting to know each of the main characters that bit better. I enjoyed the responses to each Character upon returning to their own land, and was surprised by the turn of events after the previous books conclusion.

As with the previous books, there were several moments where the situation surprised me, and I didn’t expect how a situation was concluded, keeping me on my toes and wondering what would come next.

Several times throughout this story I have gasped, or said “WHAT?!” And I enjoyed the tale even more for it.

I also enjoyed the way the story was brought to it’s conclusion, several elements from previously being brought in tidily, and a few of my questions were answered. I loved the fact we finally see more of the dragon in this book.

In her usual style, Marissa has managed to have a great balance of romance, action, and a gorgeous storyline bringing all the elements of this tale together. It’s fun, fast paced, and certainly a series I will return to!

If you enjoy Fantasy, Reverse Harem, Dragons, or just something that bit different, then pick up this trilogy!

Rated 2 stars, because...(contains spoilers)

I'm giving it 5 stars, but, in all honesty, the books were too short for the scope of the story. There was far too little character development on the part of the heroes, and none at all on the part of the villains, or even the dragons. And everything moved far too quickly. The dark magic was barely touched upon, with no depth given to it at all. No thought or reason was given for Vanthum's changing sides. The meeting with the Moerians was too short. The encounter with the duende felt as though it was dropped in out of nowhere and forced. All in all, the story was good but could have been done far better if the author had taken time to flesh it out and lengthen the books. They feel very rushed, and the language doesn't match the environments at all. And the sex scenes totally don't belong. In those areas, it went from being a fantasy story to porn and back again. I guess the author was trying for romance, but porn and romance are not the same thing, and it didn't work here. Also, the voice of the writing reads as though it was written for the pre-teen set, which also doesn't work with the content.

First let me state, I received an Advance Reader Copy, (ARC), but this in no way influences my review. I always leave an honest review.

This is the 3rd book in this series and just as gr8 as the first two.

Wow, this story was really good. It continues on from books 1 & 2, but you don't need to read them to understand this story because you get a recap. I personally recommend that you do. You will get a better understanding of what’s happening. Dela, a human, Warsgra a Norc, Orergron a Moerian, and Vehel an Elvish Prince, along with the black dragon have to stop a war that the human king, Crowmere is forcing because he’s greedy. Dela, along with her 4 men, have to unite the 4 species. There’s also another army they need to watch out for. I recommend this read. 5 Thumbs up.

Dela's story concludes as she, her dragon and her three lovers (Orergon, Warsgra and Vehel) return to the southern pass and meet up with the three species the men represent as they prepare for war against King Crowmere.

A good ending to the series, it delves a bit further into the other races, fleshing out the world that was created two books ago. There is plenty of action and character development to really round off the series. Although this does feel like an end of the story for these four characters, it does feel like there may be more stories to come from this world. (I hope)

Awesome end to a fantastic trilogy! Dela and her men rally all the races to fight for their freedom. There are quite a few twists and turns along the way for them to achieve their HEA. But it is worth it all in the end. Great series with all manner of supernaturals working together and fighting for what they want. Lots of emotions and so much detail that you would think you were in their world. Amazing ending!

What an excellent ending to the series, just WOW!!

Action packed, fast paced all the way through. I feel for Vehel having family like that. And OMG i adore Iros. The races are uniting apart from the Elvish. Dela finds out what happened to her brother but is totally unprepared when she comes face to face with him again in the catacombs beneath the Elvish castle.

I totally loved this book from page 1 to the very end. It is a joy to read such a good story that is not too short.

Loved the characters and great descriptions throughout the book. I have not read the other books in the series, so my knowledge of prior events was limited to what was presented in this book. This is an emotional, adventurous read, with action, some angst, and plenty of suspense and surprises along the way. Great ending!

The final book in the series. A war has started but now she will try to unite all races to ensure the freedom of all. But to do that she will need to travel to each kingdom. Will they agree? Several questions are answered with some surprises. The one constant is the love and devotion she and her three men have. They will fight known and unknown enemies. But having a very large dragon by your side always helps.

Ok

Everything in this book wrapped up to neatly. It just seemed too easy. And half the time is felt like her Dragon was just a tool for her to use. I enjoyed some of it but I expected more.

Into a Dragon's Soul

This book was so heart touching. You are drawn into the story as if you are actually living during that time. I was sad when I found out what happened to Ridley. His sister was finally able to get revenge for what was done to him.

REVIEW
I absolutely loved this story. It had all the feels you want in a book.
Heartache, Romance, Action, Suspense, and pure joy.
These four are finally where they want to be, what they have traveled so long for and what they have endured getting to this point may finally come to light.

Dela first has to deal with that shocker we were left with from book two.
She then knows what has to be done but stumbles with things she must do.
The men, her men are with her every step of the way and so is her dragon.
We add many more beings to the fray along the way.
Grab your copy and enjoy this truly well-written book.

Decent, interesting, was certainly a fun read. Things like dialogue were kind of off, with phrases that seemed out of place for medieval fantasy. Certain things had an air of being rushed or put in out of convenience. The Elvish Magic was especially lazy, with a fair amount of holes. I wish the author had made the relationship between the foursome more equal instead of Dela worship. If not sexual between the men, at least more romantic. Also the fact that in every race, even ones where women were muscled and large, they were never fighters seemed... archaic. The book also had an underwhelming ending, that seemed naive and too much like a fairy tale, "wrapped in a bow" ending for what I thought was supposed to be at least young adult, what with there being multiple sex scenes.
