Marcus's group in Iran has been through hell and back, and has made the decision to finally head home even as untold dangers stalk Marilyn, her children and the Marines accompanying her to Washington. And, in the deep woods and mountains of Colorado, a group with a seemingly sinister purpose grows like a shadow across the battered and broken country.

Heaven's Fist is a near-future, what-if tale of a frightening apocalyptic future told through a gripping, roller coaster lens.

At 40,000 words or more per book, Heaven's Fist is a bi-weekly series. A new book in Heaven's Fist will be released every two weeks for a 6-month period, covering the period immediately before, during and after a devastating apocalyptic event devastates the world. This series asks a simple question: If the worst were to happen, would you be able to survive?

Following a cataclysmic event that destroys the network of satellites in orbit around the earth and activates dozens of orbital kinetic bombardment weapons, cities across the globe are reduced to rubble and the status quo is changed as governments fall and millions die all in the blink of an eye.

Written as a collaboration between Justin Bell and Mike Kraus, this post-apocalyptic thriller is a gripping ride that takes a unique look at the post-apoc genre and will leave you breathless with every turn of the page.

The Marines in Iran continue to fight against terrorists while Marilyn's group plans to make their way to Washington, D.C., where she hopes to meet her husband. The camp of fanatics in the U.S. still exists and Quebec gets wiped out by another tungsten rod.

Martial law is declared throughout the U.S. as more and more riots take place. More group of thugs try to take advantage of the chaos and, fortunately, at least some of them get killed.

A very intense and well-written book.

A JB./MK. SYFY. Novel (HF. - 3)/Eastern Colorado/Iran/ Mexico/Canada

JB./MK. have. penned A SYFY. Novel of worldwide consequence. The tungsten bombs has devastated Earth enough so she may never recover. The people have dropped into anarchy and insanity. They kill with no rhyme or reason and a few dedicated Marines are trying to get their group to safety over numerous hurdles. This is an excellent read for the genre.....DEHS

Hmm

While I still like the whole story there is a lot of time spent at various times that’s just page filler.
Vera shouldn’t be three, the reaction to the disassembled gun didn’t sound 3. Why did Lincoln pick a car that didn’t have a locked gas cap? Once Darla reacted to the danger why didn’t Lincoln retrieve the gas can.
I like it, I’ll take a break before going on to 4.
I do recommend it.

I enjoyed this book quite a lot. There is still a lot of mystery with regard to what caused the problem and what to do about it but there is some resolution about that as well. Most of the characters get some nice growth, even Marilyn who is still erratic for my taste. For her kids' sakes, thank goodness Lt Drake is there to keep it together.

Carrying on from the last installment, episode three sees the various characters battling against the disastrous outcome of 'the event'.

Fast-paced with numerous angles to the story...including the crazy survivalists whose only purpose is to seize power.

Good storytelling.
