Vampire Girl Problems
Danni Keller is half vampire, half succubus, and a full hot mess. When Danni was younger she thought being a vampire could be kind of fun. You stay young forever, live in a castle, and play by your own rules. Then she was turned into one and while the eternally young part is true, there's no castle. She can't talk about her age, she can't tell anyone what she is, and with an overprotective sire like hers, she can't even have a job or go shopping without a babysitter. Danni knows it's for her own good and all since bad guys are always trying to kill her, the sun burns like hell, she still can't eat human food without becoming gravely ill, and she's not exactly your run-of-the-mill vampire but a hybrid with all kinds of extra issues, but still ... Is it too much to ask for a girl to have a cupcake???

I see all the reviews complaining about Danni, the MFC. She honestly doesn't bother me enough to do the same. I can empathize with the reasons for why she is the way she is. Maybe its because I have known people with such a beaten down self-worth, so it seems perfectly plausible to me for a character to be like that. I don't know, I just don't find her struggles to be something that would make her a bad character.
Overall, I've enjoyed the story so far. There hasn't been a single instance where I have even contemplated DNFing. Does the series have the MFC trope of "being targeted/hunted/etc." like so many of the PNR/UF genre? Sure. But, I have liked the unique take on that trope. Maybe its just the books that I tend to get drawn to, but I liked that the trouble doesn't just get wrapped up in each book. The new characters additions in this one make the story much more rounded than the first. Daniel being the best of the new characters, his good chemistry with Danni was very evident.
Also, there were parts of this 2nd book that had cracking up, one in particular was a certain scene in the gym with Danni, Rome, and Daniel.
The surprise ending cliffhanger definitely is making me want to get to the next book.

Danni’s insecurities don’t get much better in this book and since I’m already about 1/4 into book 3, I can confess she gets worse.
It turns out that Ryan’s physical death doesn’t keep him from visiting Danni in her dreams and influencing her. He assures her that once she experiences The Bloom (think cat in heat) that he will have total control and will use her to destroy Rider. Meanwhile, the Hunters and gang members are out to annihilate him/her.
It seems Danni and Daniel are developing more than a casual friendship that Rider quickly picks up on. Is this going to turn into a RH? I can’t seen Rider sharing but stranger things have happened.
The book culminates in her sister’s wedding with a surprise twist. Danni’s bitchiness knows no bounds.

Have only just started reading it literally picks up form the morning after the night that book 1 finished at but 3% of the way in and I've just had 4-5 pages of book 1 in summary....and then the beginning if this book in summary. Why? I appreciate there may be some weirdo's who pick up a book 2 of a series without reading book 1 but then those are the fools that have to try and understanding the plot as they go along or accept they need to stop and go back and read the first book......grrrr.
Will come back with more thoughts as I read more of the book.
So having finished the book I'm perplexed. I don't like the heroine particular, she's annoying enough you want to climb into the book and smack up upside her head. saying that Rider has become more irritating to. Crystal- Rain Love is a new author to me and if any of her other books are like this one then I will be reading more of her books and I look forward to it. Danni was attacked by a incubus and he bit her to turn her into a succubus and then a vampire bit her to counteract the incubus’s poison bite and now she has to chose a master and she did she chose the kind hearted Rider the vampire. I’m not going to give anymore spoilers this book is just too good so if you like vampires that know what love is all about then this book is for you. There were some pretty funny lol moments where I had such a good laugh and I love that in a book, I absolutely loved this story and I know you will too. A fantastic story a 5 plus ⭐️ read and I highly recommend this book it’s definitely well worth the read.

Danni still has major confidence issues and is always doubting Rider's love for her. You'd think a 28 yr old woman would have more belief in herself. So many people think she is beautiful and tell her so, but she never believes them. Even though she is a vampire now. Still has some succubus tendencies. She is also still being protected as more hunters are after her. This got left in a cliff hanger. Now waiting for Book 3 in this series.

Wickedly Good!
I'm seriously in love with this series! I love how the storyline is unique, filled with heat & drama, a different perspective on the paranormal and definitely fun!
The characters are so amazing and crazy, I don't think I can stress this enough!!! Rider is all sorts of wicked but the good and sexy kind, not to mention Daniel, Rome, Tony and I'm loving Ginger's sexy and crazy attitude! And Danni.... WOW! Can a vampire/succubus hybrid get any freaking more awesome!!!! Or down right scary crazy, love it! Can't wait for the next installment!

Decent story but awful heroine!
I like this writer's writing style, and that it's first person heroine only POV, but... Awful heroine Danni, never says thank you or sorry, even though she's a jealous, spoilt, insecure, hard work girlfriend to Rider. and a selfish friend to Daniel etc. I will download the next one because it is a decent story, but as far as romance goes? I wish Rider would find someone better, and that's not how this type of book is meant to make you feel. So the author has messed up with that one.

Short review. Like the new characters and that we got meet more of Rider's people. I still have mixed feeling about Danni but I do see that she starting to improve she still has a long way to go to become a more likable character. Rider remains the best part of the series so far. Without spoiling it all I can say is this it wouldn't surprise me if this turns out to be the biggest mistake ever. Looking forward to the next book whenever it comes out.

I liked to see what was happening with Danni and that she was doing her best to find her place and be strong about it. She still has a lot to do but at least she is trying.
Rider and Daniel are charming and I love both of them as well as their relationship and their attitude and love for Danni.

Great book, sucky lead female
I love the series, but for goodness sakes I am so tired of the whiny lead female. I certainly can't call her a heroine. All she does is whine. She refuses to accept any accountability for anything or even attempt to be reasoned with. By now I would have expected her to accept her life as it is and realize not everything is about what she wants. Ugh. So disrespectful.

Vampire Girl Problems by Crystal-Rain Love is book number two in the series. I so fell in love with this series and book. It has strong characters and a wonderful story line. I am so glad I read this story I can not wait to see what might come out next.

Very funny
I had to give this book five stars just because of the humor and snark in it. Too funny. Extremely amusing characters and the story just keeps getting better and better. I had a really good time reading this and I am looking forward to reading the next book in this series.

I truly enjoyed this series even though I didn't always find Danni very likable but the author went into great detail as to how her mother, grandmother and sister weren't very nice to her. This said I really like Daniel's character, he is funny and light hearted, he is now my favourite character in this series.

Wow just Wow
I thought this story couldn’t get any better but I was wrong. Who knew you could reach out from the depths of well you know. Danni has had a wild ride and this was only another ride with more twists and turns that even I couldn’t foresee. I can’t wait to get the next book and see what happens with Danni’s sister.

Binge worthy and funny
I got started on this series because I was looking for something different from the usual vampire books that have more sex than plot,imagine my delight when when I found just that and it turned out it was laugh out loud funny too.That is also the reason I will be finishing every book in this series and look for more by this author!

annoying
Danni has to be the most annoying character I have read in a long time, she has no redeeming qualities. I think the author was trying for strong and feisty but ended up with whiny and very immature. Ryder and the people around him have the patience of a saint, I can't believe that ending, think I am done with them now

Love Danni and Riders Banter
The series gets better with each book! I adore. Crystal Rain Loves talent with creating characters and their chemistry together, whether love interests or just friends. Not everyone can write banter that draws you in and makes you love their characters, but she can and does :) Looking forward to the next book!

Addicting
Very well written. I have never laughed so hard reading a book as I have so far with this series. The characters are so relatable, I laughed, cried and everything in between. Am looking forward to the next in the series.

Brill book 2, I do love some of these characters, they make the book so much fun and bring joy to some of the dark and bloody side

I didn't want it to end. Halfway through the 2nd book I found myself yearning for the 3rd book, thats just how well written this series is. High praise for the author.

A good read
I loved the action in the chapters. I really thought Daniels one liners were great . But having rider every single chapter have to reassure Danni about their relationship was starting to get tedious . If you can get through it , it's a really good book.

Five stars for sexy Daniel, rest of book gets 3-4; majority four. The plot is great. Oh, Ginger gets five stars.
