“If you want something, you’ve got to decide it’s yours and claim it.”
Blake and Melanie are best friends—until the day she shows up at his house soaking wet. In just a single afternoon, they go from friends, to lovers…to nothing.
Three years later, Mel is determined to fix the mistake she made that day. But instead of the sweet, lanky boy she grew up with, she finds a man.
He’s bulked up. He’s confident. Dominating.
Hardened by rejection. Mired in the loss of his father.
One thing hasn’t changed, though: how much he wants her.
* * *
The day Mel left, Blake swore he’d never give anyone else the chance to gut him so completely.
He’s adept at getting what he wants from women, when he wants it. His method? Be aloof. Share as little of your heart as possible. Don’t wait around for what you want: demand it.
But Mel is different. She always has been.
Finally, he has her. All of her. But between his dad’s death and unexpected news from his ex, his life begins to unravel.
Even worse: he’s the one pulling the thread.
He can’t bear to lose Mel again…but what if letting her go is the only way to keep her safe?
All Mine is an enduring yet gritty novel of young love and regret, second chances—and a happily ever after readers will ache to claim as their own.
Please be advised: this standalone romance contains intimate scenes some readers may not find suitable.
Piper Lennox is the author of New Adult and Contemporary romance novels Darling, All at Once (an Amazon Top 100 Bestseller), Fake Halo, The Midwife's Playlist, and more.
Her books have sexy and broken heroes, feisty heroines, and beautifully real, flawed people falling in out-of-this-world love. For all the tears, there's always laughter, irresistible heat...and, of course, a happily-ever-after worth melting over.
Piper lives in Virginia with her husband, kids, and a Siberian Husky way too smart for his own good. Before she spent her days writing about life and love, she wrote copy for insurance companies. And she will never, ever go back.
Piper Lennox did a wonderful job packing the emotion into this story. It was bittersweet, it was sexy, it was sad, and touching. None of us are the same person at 18 as we will be at 30. Time and experience shapes us, for better or for worse, and I really enjoyed the way this is explored in All Mine. Blake and Mellie were relatable, sympathetic characters, and even when I wanted to smack some sense into one or the other I couldn't help but to love them, and hope for them to find their way. Lovely read.

Blake and Mel are a couple that gets under the skin from the first meeting and continue to haunt beyond the very last page. What began in trust, implodes with heartbreaking betrayals and gut wrenching secrets. Piper Lennox steals more of the heart with each shocking reveal, each accidental kiss and each emotion packed interaction. There is no pulling back from All Mine. One taste and it's all or nothing.
This is a difficult book for me to rate. At times, I was utterly charmed, but at others, I was furious or the story brought me to tears. One thing I will say is that I haven't stopped thinking about this friends to lovers romance by Piper Lennox.
Blake and Melanie became best friends after Blake got lost in a shopping mall at the age of 4, when he approached Mel's family in tears. Blake's mother passed away from cancer while he was still young, leaving him with a father who never wanted a child. Mel's parents were strict, but loving, and Blake found a home away from home with them. All throughout their school years, Blake and "his Mellie" remained close- even to the detriment of several of their other relationships. Blake hid his secret crush on Mel (which he'd had from age 12 on.) Shortly before their 18th birthdays, these two virgins become lovers during a game of truth or dare. Melanie reacts poorly, terrified of the changes, and balks at a real relationship. Blake is terribly hurt by this, throws Mel out, and they part ways.
Flash forward three years, (age 21) and Blake is dealing with his absentee father's death. He breaks things off with his current girlfriend, who he realizes is simply annoying him. Mel goes to the estate sale, and they reconnect and once again become lovers. Blake is no longer the gentle, affectionate friend he once was. He is hard and demanding. He is determined to keep anyone from ever getting so close to him again. His ex gives him some rather unexpected (and unwelcome) news, and it causes Blake to turn to alcohol to numb all his pain, as he refuses to grieve or to deal with this new little development.
The book continues at intervals of ages 22, 25, and 30. There are several conflicts between Blake and Mel, and their relationship comes and goes. There are some tragic events that occur that were foreshadowed during the earlier parts of the book, but somehow, I still wasn't ready for them. It's not often that a book makes me cry, but this one did.
I wanted to reach into the book at times and give both Blake and Mel a good shake, but especially Blake. Then, at the end... I almost forgave him. Perhaps if the author had spent a bit more time developing the ending, I would have gotten all the way there. Even though the couple eventually gets their HEA, I was still left with an overall feeling of: why?? Too many should haves and could haves. Most times, life doesn't give us our HEA all wrapped up in a pretty little bow, so I just felt irritated at the couple for all the years worth of wasted time. The ending scenes were sweet and full-circle, just a bit rushed. Overall, though, the story was very well written and it sure packs one heck of a punch. I received an ARC of this book, and I voluntarily chose to write an honest review.
ARC review -3.5 stars I liked the book but I had a really hard time liking Blake. It was hard to connect to him. He was sweet when he was a teen with a secret crush on Mel. Instead of embracing a relationship with him, Mel runs. Three years after Mel's rejection we meet the new Blake. He has bulked up, he has a great job but his emotions are behind a wall. He is a little cold. His dad has died, and Mel has resurfaced and they start a new relationship. Nothing is smooth for them, his ex has life changing news that he can't ignore no matter how hard her tries. He drinks a a lot. He won't communicate with Mel. It is hard to understand why she was there. She takes a lot from him. The story has a lot of back and forth. A few secrets that are revealed as time goes on. The teenage best friends get two second chances at love. Overall the writing was good. The story had good flow. there are some emotional scenes that help humanize Blake, You eventually realize that he really does love Mel.
A wonderful book about mellie and blake. They have known each other since they were 4 years old and have been best friends for years. Blake kisses her for the first time and they both give each other their virginity but she doesnt want to be his girlfriend as she doesnt want to ruin their friendship. They dont see other for years then one day they do and start a sexual relationship again and then eventually fall in love.
He has a son to his ex girlfriend and he finds out he has cancer.
A wonderful book about 2 bestfriends who fall for each other but one is too scared to admit how she feels. Its a very emotional book with some sad parts and is also a very sexy book.

Emotionally riveting journey of growing up, love and acceptance
All Mine, a friends to lovers romance is very emotionally gripping. Blake and Mellie’s journey, from their youth through adulthood, will hold you captive while at times you hold your breath! Piper Lennox also manages to showcase both Blake and Mellie as evolving, growing young adults who simply seem to fail to communicate. Throughout their story there is fantastic, sexy, vulnerable and emotional chemistry between Blake (Dominant in the bedroom) and Mel (thrilled and scared by how much it turns her on) that adds a sexy flair to the story. The emotional level of the story is highly charged and at times volatile. It will leave you aching for both Blake and Mellie. Although this book spans several years of the characters lives, it’s done in such a way that you don’t feel as though important information is missing. The transitions and segues are seamless and informative. Overall a well written book with an interesting and emotionally charged storyline, well developed characters and a wonderful HEA. You Never Forget Your First Time. Young 💘Love, First 💘Love. Forever 💘Love. Don't we all wish it could be like this....... Two teenagers, both virgins, both friends forever. The boy, Blake🐺 watched porn, so he has a good idea of what to do and how to do it! Mel💋👩, the girl, was raised Catholic with no clue whatsoever, but she wants to know. She wants it all, and so does Blake🐺🍆🌋. He has wanted her since puberty. Their first time is sweet, sexy, mutually satisfying, and a total fantasy🐲, but it makes for a great book📕! Can you go from being great friends to true love💘 in a few hours? Mel💋👩 is scared, she doesn't think so, she's afraid. Blake🐺🍆🌋 tells her she belongs to him now, he has loved her and wanted her forever!
I loved this book📕 but the characters wasted years of their youth denying that they had always been in love. Both of them were trying to have relationships with other people, while all the while wanting each other, dreaming🐲 about Each other! Not to worry, there is eventually a happy ending! ARC Received from HG for a Voluntary and Honest Review. I also got the book through KU.
Blake and Melanie always had each other since both were little. One rainy day, Melanie shows up at Blake’s house, all wet. Blake offers his clothes and they are both chilling when everything changes. They suspected both were virgins and they took each others’. While Melanie was afraid of losing her friendship, they ended up having a big argument and she leaves... Couple of years passed, Melanie shows up Blake’s dad’s funeral and decided to reconnect with Blake. Both has changed but Blake changed more. Blake decided to be more bold and take control and Melanie’s life was drifting from job to another job. When they find each other again, it seems like it was going well until they hit another bump. This time it is a breaking point for Melanie. She wanted to help Blake but he was pushing her away. It was great story of two friends who goes through life together and apart. Finally, they realize they can’t live with out the other half. It kept me up to finish and made me cry too. I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.
I had the opportunity to read an advanced copy of All Mine by Piper Lennox and, while it was a little intense/graphic when compared to my normal selections, I did really enjoy the overall story. It is separated into four parts that each provide a picture of where the two main characters are at different ages from 18-25. Each section tells us about what was happening in that moment of their lives both together and apart using alternating perspectives between Blake & Mel. This technique gives us readers a more complete understanding of certain circumstances than either of the characters themselves which had me really rooting for them to get it together and get on the same page. I also appreciated that, after getting invited into the characters lives for so many milestone occasions and such a large chunk of their most formative years, that the author tied up all of the loose ends with the epilogue.
One couple that has all odds against them. Blake and Mel have both been through so much. Mel left and Blake was hurt beyond repair. He did not see another woman who compared to his love for Mel. Mel is back and wants his forgiveness and possibly a second chance. Can Blake find it in his heart to put aside his past hurt and forgive the one woman he has loved.
This story goes through the span of many of this couple years together and years separated. They wasted years not being together but now they finally get a chance to have their much awaited happily ever after. I have never read another love story like this one that left me so full of hope for this couple to get the HEA they so deserve. I voluntarily received an arc copy of this story for my honest review.
This was an emotionally charged book. Melanie and Blake have known each other since they were four years old and were best friends from that day forward. Until they turned 18, and their friendship turned into something more. But it scared Melanie and they never talked again...till they were 21 years old but now Blake is hardened and doesn't share. Melanie thinks she can overlook it till she can't. When they meet up again at 25, it finally works. Blake at 25 was supposed to have changed, I think that is what Piper was trying to show but he really hadn't. Except for having to share what happened, I didn't feel like he had changed. I didn't feel a true relationship between Piper and Blake...it was always lacking something, I'm not sure what.
My honest review is for a special copy I voluntarily read.
While I liked this story, I wanted to shake both main characters. The plot is interesting and heartbreaking. The story-line doesn't flow smoothly nor is it fast paced until the very end. There we fly through the HEA. I couldn't connect with the characters and they were both one-dimensional to me. Blake and Melanie were friends forever until the age of 18 when their relationship takes a turn that Mel isn't ready for. Years later after no contact, Mel reconnects with Blake at his father's funeral. Neither one has grown up and matured at all. Blake is a harden idiot and Mel is a push over. Blake continues to push Mel away and make decisions for her. Another few years later and they met again. If I had been Mel, I would have walked away and never given Blake a second chance.
I voluntarily read and reviewed an ARC of this book....
I read and reviewed this book voluntarily Blake and Melanie have been friends since they were little. They grew up best friends; and could tell each other anything. After showing up at Blakes house soaking wet from riding her bicycle over the two take things to a new level. They give each other themselves. Melanie wants it to just be a blip Blake wants more; Melanie doesn't want to ruin what they have. But it is already changed. After years without talking Melanie goes to see Blake after his dad died. He is not the same Blake, but they hang out and they start to accept the feelings they have for each other. But he pushes her away. Will they ever find their way to be together or will they just go their separate ways and just be memories. This was a good book. Throw in the crazy ex and you have a hell of a story.
Emotional, Heartbreaking & Beautiful! Wow! Such an emotional friends to lovers/second chance book. Prepare yourself for all the highs and lows! Mel and Blake have been best friends since they were little kids. At eighteen, the lines of friendship are crossed and one of them is left rejected and forever changed. I was honestly so frustrated with Mel in the beginning of the book and then with Blake towards the middle. This book is a perfect example of how fears and mistakes/bad choices can completely change the course of your life. There was something brewing in the background of this book from the very beginning. I knew that something major would be coming, yet I found myself feeling like the floor dropped from beneath me when it happened! This was one of those “break out the tissues” moments along with choices that followed. *I voluntarily reviewed an Advanced Reader Copy of this book.
Sometimes a writer sucks you into the lives of their characters and you are rooting for them, wanting to knock them in the head and crying for them. All Mine is one such book. Some many times I wanted to scream at both Blake and Melanie to just talk, tell the truth about how you feel. There were several wasted opportunity for this couple to be together but it took almost an act of God for it to wake both of them up. You will need tissues, lots of tissues and the patience’s of a saint as you read about Blake and Melanie and how the reconnect and disconnect through their lives. Don’t miss this friends, to lovers, to nothing, to ..... Don’t want to spoil it for you. I received a copy of this book and voluntarily chose to review it.
Blake Foster and Melanie Thatcher have been best friends since the age of 4. Blake started crushing on Melanie when he was 12 but didn't make a move on her until he was 18. Mel turns Blake down because she's afraid of losing her best friend if they date and breakup, but ends up losing him anyway. After years of ignoring each other, Melanie extends an olive branch and they pick up where they left off. But when life gets messy, Blake pushes Melanie away again. Is this the end for Blake and Melanie?
Piper Lennox delivers an angsty, drama-filled and steamy story that you won't be able to put down

Oh. My. Goodness. What a story this was. Ms. Lennox takes you on one hell of a ride with this book. I loved the fact that they were friends from the age of four and that they were the best of friends, even being opposite sexes. After losing each other for three years and the death of his father, they meet again. Sometimes though, just when you think things will work out the way you always thought they would, something comes back to bite you in the butt. Definitely a book that will keep you on the edge of your seat and make you root for them.

I really enjoyed Blake and Melanie's book if you enjoy a good second chance/friends to lovers romance then you should give this a go it was really well written and had great characters that you cannot help but like and root for.Blake has been in love with Melanie for years after a few drinks one night he tells her and they spend the night together he is looking for something more and she thought it was a one night deal so they walk away from each other. Now its three years later and when they meet up there is something still there but there is also plenty of anger can they move past it.A really enjoyable read but it was a little slow in places but overall really good
I don’t know how Piper Lennox managed to hold my attention in this friends to lovers romance, but she did. Hours of indecision and tepid commitments between two teenagers then young adults to fully realized grownups. I guess this story reaffirms the adage that ‘timing is everything’ because Blake and Mel are nothing if not representations of that truth. However, that’s where the story elements stop working. I’m not big on angst as motivation. Two people who are supposed to be in love, but they aren’t together due to their own idiocy instead of actual conflicts does not make for a compelling read. Melodrama is the worst!
Wow! I’m back a forth between a 4 and 4.5. Piper Lennox takes your emotions on a ride with Mel and Blake’s story. I enjoyed the book. I do think it could have been a bit longer to help it feel a bit more developed in certain areas. Not much ~ just a tad. Overall really good. I liked her writing style and the story was original and gets you in the feels. I’d definitely recommend, especially if you’re a second chance sucker like me. I requested and received an arc copy of this book. This is my voluntary, true, and honest opinion.
I am honestly and voluntarily reviewing an Advanced Reader’s Copy of this book from Hidden Gems 💎 This is a tough review to write. Blake and Melanie’s first, second, and third chance at a love came went and went. I should have had more sympathy for Blake, but frankly he was such a jerk most of the book, it was hard to feel sorry for him at the end. Melanie was a bit of a puzzle, at times angsty, at times strong, but often a doormat. The book droned on at times, bogging down the pace, and making this a hard one to finish.
You have Blake and Melanie who are best friends since they were twelve. Blake has been in love with Melanie this whole time and when Melanie shows up at his door soaking wet and they play truth or dare, Melanie acts like a 2 year old and their friendship is over. Now when they are in their young 20's and Blake's dad dies Melanie reconnects with Blake. This is a story of not only 2nd chances but 3rd chances. There were some unfinished plots that I didn't understand and it was wrapped up just so nicely for the main plot. It wasn't a bad book, just could have been better.
Wow! First book by the author. and I have to say it was a GREAT read. The cover sells it short because it seems to be a sex-based book, but honestly, I like the connection between the 2 the most. I couldn't put the book down. Unlike regular romances, this shows the progression of Blake and Mel's relationship over the years. You just can't help immersing yourself into the book because of how authentic and believable it is. The childhood crush, the fear of losing that friendship, the fear of finding out what is ailing him, etc. Just a great read that is funny, sexy, sad, and believable.
Man oh man...what a gut wrenching, heartbreaking read. This one was hard to put down once started. Piper Lennox has gifted us with an incredible storyline; fully developed characters with all of their flaws; emotions run high with difficult consequences; and a HEA that will have your heart both singing and breaking. This was an awesome read! (I voluntarily reviewed an advance reader copy of this book and was totally blown away.) ❤️❤️
This is about two best friends who ruin it all by becoming lovers. At eighteen, Melanie isn't ready to commit and Blake has laid his heart out for the last time. Some of this book made me sick and I wanted to kick Blake in the head for his stupidity. The sex was way out of line at times and didn't have the impact on their relationship that it should have, by the end of the book I was skipping over the sex scenes. The plot and the story line deserved more than the writer gave it.
One of the best stories I have read in a while. Great read of emotions, angst, hope, heartbreak, fear, longing and unconditional love. Mel is an honest and blunt MC who has a heart she won't trust. Blake goes through some life changes but never stops loving Mel. HEA written in alternating POV. Great twists and turns. Fantastic love story
This was my first Piper Lennox's book. This is a short story with a lot of drama. This story brings you on a roller coaster. The storyline is interesting and well written. Fortunately, this story ends with a HEA. I love epilogues, and the epilogue in this book is very good. I'm looking forward for more books written by this author. I voluntarily reviewed an Advanced Reader Copy of this book.
Asfter reading all the reviews i was really excited about the book. However i was left disappointed. Treating someone so badly especially someone you claim to love regardless of your life is not romantic. He had plenty of opportunities to be with her but his shitty attitude always pushed het away.
This was well written and very easy to read. It's full of angst and heartbreak. There are some nice steamy scenes throughout. This couple had a hard time staying together, but finally got their HEA. I volunteered to leave a review after reading an Advanced Reader Copy.
An awesome book. Extremely entertaining, captivating and interesting sexy read. I could not put it down. Wonderfully written with strong, intriguing characters. I want to read more from this author. I voluntarily read and reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.
